Our small family had a blast staying at this hotel for a week. Good food, great ambience, nice service. Will be back here in the future for sure.

Side of the hotel we were on needs to be upgraded, furniture and restroom was very outdated and old. Took a while to get warm water in the shower, toilet was clogged although we did not flush toilet paper. Food was delicious, bar hours need to be extended.

The hotel has ton of mold everywhere. Unsafe and mold is covered by paint

Beautiful, traditional decor. Great service. Old, but very clean and safe. Close to everything. Can walk to anything you need. Very family friendly.

Playa Los Arcos is a great property. The location is great, situated close to many restaurants, bars and shopping. The buffet has many options to satisfy any appetite. Although small, we spent the majority of our time in the adult pool, with the ocean only steps away for swimming as well. The staff is amazing. Before our adult beverages were finished, we had another on the way. While I enjoyed my stay, I do not know if I would return. May sound harsh, but there were too many kids. Can’t really fault Los Arcos, though, as the sign does say it’s a family friendly property. My next trip to PVR will include a stay at an adults only resort. If you are traveling with children, this is a great place.

clean, safe, good food, close to shopping, 2 min walk to the beach

Old and poorly maintained hotel. Very uncomfortable bathrooms (I stayed in two economic rooms). Very professional and friendly staff , very good location, poor buffet .
3.8
It was good but we should not be paying for the restaurant the one belongs to the hotel
3.8
Old and not well maintained

The hotel is dated, and some of my daughter's belongings were missing.
The food was good.

This hotel is conveniently located to many attractions. We loved being so close to the beach! The staff were all friendly, there was a good selection of food. The rooms could use some updating. It was quite noisy for us as our room was situated along the streets. Overall it was a good stay.

Amazing, perfect location and well maintained.

Good stay, just out dated

I came on Saturday night at 5am and asked the front attendant (guy) where i could get a bottle of water and he sent me in a witch hunt and all places were closed. NOT accommodating what’s whoever

We Love Playa Los Arcos! It's our second visit to this hotel and the staff are so amazing! Miguel, our beach/pool waiter is incomparable! He is simply the best! When we checked in initially, our room had a funky smell, so we were transferred to another room. Perfect! The AC wasn't as great, but it was still a fabulous room with a balcony & ocean view! The pool area is fab with 3 pools & a hot tub area. There is a pool for adults only, so no splashing into your drinks!! We choose to do the all-inclusive mainly for the beverages! Breakfast & lunch as well! We mostly hit the numerous taco stands throughout the city for dinner though. We did a walking taco tour the 1st night so we'd know where the great tacos were!! So many to choose from! When we come back again (& we will), we'll stay at Los Arcos. It's so close to everything and if we needed a taxi, the guys were there to call one for us. We had a wonderful vacation at Los Arcos.

Check in was horrible. Wouldn’t talk and when they did it was like an inconvenience to them and just rude. Last morning there we had breakfast and not a single server come and brought us drinks. They just walked by

There are birds in the dinning area.

Not family friendly

My wife and I did all inclusive and there was always some food that we liked. Drinks were good and service was readily available. The hotel was a bit dated but that added to the charm of it. Location was fabulous. We hiked south along the cliffs and never felt it was unsafe anywhere. Our main complaint was if you spend the day on the beach loungers you will be constantly getting vendors every few minutes. Great place good times

Not a bad hotel but has some room for improvement. Definitely more on the family friendly side. It’s older but they keep the grounds up. Our room was VERY old and small so if you are expecting luxury accommodations this is NOT the place for you. The restaurant is decent and the bar options are okay. The bartenders at the pool area bar were great! Giving this property a three because our first night they ran out of towels. Literally there were no towels! The next day I called for towels three times and never got them so I went down to the front desk and they eventually sent someone to the room with towels. Also they ran out of pool towels. We stayed in room 430 which is on the fourth floor however the elevator only goes to the third floor so we had to walk up a flight of steps to get to our room. Overall I would probably stay here again on a quick 2-3 night trip but for anything longer I would book elsewhere.

Loved the locations lose proximity to town and Malecon. Our wait staff Miquel on the beach was fantastic!

it was a great place to relax in, would return again

Good location for exploring downtown. Buffet food was good with lots of variety. Its old hotel but rooms are well maintained.

So we stayed for one night and the next morning we ran! No way we’re going to spend 4 more nights with guests screaming and smoking outside our room all night and security coming up but then ignoring it. When we complained they said no security/manager until 10a ruining ou4 first day. The room was sub par with the door frame attached yet you could see daylight from around the frame so no caulking and an almost 2” opening on the bottom so the noise and smoke came right into our room. The ceiling was really low, the room was tiny and the hotel was sold out so there weren’t enough chairs by the pool and the lobby was so overcrowded it we could hardly get by. It’s an open air hotel so all rooms have a balcony which was nice but the hotel is a horse shoe shape so all the noise travels upwards. As for the all you can eat it the food was dry as it’s been sitting out in the buffet for hours and it’s just sub par like we got the leftovers from the costomers who ordered off the menu - that food looked good but it was way more money. The drinks were ok but very sugary. Unless you’re drinking a lot the all you can eat is moot as there are so many great restaurants and eateries and there’s not much else to do in PV so you’re stuck in the same boring hotel. The locations is great and the open dining room was nice. We found a place two doors down and 1/2 price, adult only with ocean views, completely new!
We complained, they could care less thank goodness we booked a/hotels.com

Me and my friend loved everything! Our room was cleaned daily, the buffet was actually REALLY good! We got a voucher for a free meal at one of the restaurants, it was amazing. The bartenders were a highlight for us, especially Louis! Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is one of the best places you can go to it's very safe lots of security a lot of security walking around the pool people are very safe with security watching over the front and back of hotel make sure you're safe food is great Buffet is great service and Waiters are excellent they're always on top of you making sure you are very attentive too rooms are very clean do you need anything there on it front desks is on top of everything always saying if everything's good or okay if you have any issues this hotel is one of the if not the best in the area being so close to everything outside the hotel you got restaurants you got bars you got Taco stands you have outside vendors in the plaza everything's in within walking distance night clubs churches medicals everything you can even you can even go by Coco's coconuts churros and elotes fruit you can go shop just about anything no one bugs you everybody's friendly have a great time enjoy your stay

We came for a birthday and both my wife, son, and friends got super sick eating and drinking here to start, the hotel is in a great location but very old rooms are so small you can barley move around in them and the bathroom is very old, drinks were bad, they try and upsell you drinks that cost more here than at a restaurant. Breakfast was fine, dinner and lunch is bad. One restaurant that’s “all inclusive” it’s too bad because we come to PV Mexico every year and love the location of this hotel but that’s about it, even cockroaches are in the rooms.

Love the area
3.8
Overall it was a pleasant stay. It annoyed me that people would put their towels on poolside chairs and then not use them until late in the day. There probably should be an allowed amount of time that you can tie up chairs without using them. The buffet could have been better.
