Typical of Norway--overpriced with minimal contact.

Beautiful view from the room, as long as cruise ship wasn't blocking it. Room was clean and there were USB ports nest to the bed, which is rare in Norway. They're still in the 20th Century.

Bed was too small. No fan in room, making it stuffy. Bathroom was too small and dated.

A beautiful and quiet location a short walk away from Flåm

The location is superb and we were lucky enough to stay here with no cruise ships. The food and service was good too.

The bedrooms are small and there is hardly any space for clothes. As we were a couple we used the small bedroom for our bags.

It was really great —

Loved the views and ambience

Shower was not secure - water leakage while taking a shower and the floor needs a bath mat as it was slippery and could cause a fall.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were excellent.

The view was amazing. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

The room was average ,the bed was small. No washing machine and dryer.

The hotel is good but the restaurant is terrible.

The location and cleanliness of hotel was very good.

Their restaurant was really terrible. I understood they were very busy in a dinner time but I waited for a pasta as a main dish more than 1 hour. It was true that I claimed but I could not understand at all why a woman in the restaurant showed such an aggressive behavior without any explanation nor apology. it was the most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had in the restaurant of the hotel.

Spacious and clean, and the restaurant has THE BEST fish soup

The location was AWESOME for the view, although it was further away from the bus stop than I expected: about 15' walk with luggage as opposed to the expected 5'. And it's also not visible from the bus stop, which made it a little harder to find. The "room" is more of a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchenette fully stocked and 1 bathroom with limited toiletries. For us, the place was HUGE - wish we could've stayed more than the 1 night. There were 4 beds, 2 twins and 1 bunk bed, and they were super comfortable. We had a 1st floor apartment, so the kitchen opened up to a nice patio area that overlooked the fjord and marina. The restaurant in the complex was also EXCELLENT at dinner, serving the best fish soup I had in Norway (I had 3 different ones). The included breakfast was adequate, but not spectacular.

Not having electrical sockets handy by the bunk beds was difficult. The only socket available was at the foot of the bed near the floor, and both outlets there were used by the bedside lamps, so the person on the top bunk really had no access to an outlet.

Nice stay and I imagine it would be lovely in summer.

Beautiful views.

Noisy neighbours. Basic facilities. It would have been helpful to have the (paying) option of being picked up at the station. Rolling suitcases in pouring rain or snow along a marina in the dark was not pleasant. It was only a 10 minute walk, but everything did get soaked.

We had an amazing couple of days at Flam Marina and would love to come again.

The view was amazing! The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff were so helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Lovely hotel, great staff in the most beautiful setting.

The view from the rooms is second to none. Watching the fjord, and all the boats coming and go was so relaxing. The food in the restaurant for breakfast was really tasty and there was a very large selection. Couldn't fault the staff, they were very friendly and helpful.

Keep away from this Hotel!!

We were given a room in which the bedroom was tiny and wuth no windows. The hotel did not off any alternative, so we had to cancel our stay and travel 30 km to a reasonable Hotel.

We are so glad we added this onto an already busy itinerary it was amazingly good .

Excellent location .. Food was delicious including the breakfast which was very Norwegian , as I’d have expected. Even though it was March we still fully appreciated the view and how beautiful it was .

Perfect location for exploring Flåm and surrounding areas. Room had the most spectacular view of the fjord and was comfortable and quiet. Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious. Staff all very helpful and friendly.
