About this house rental

Charming remodeled 3 bed, 2 bath ranch. 2 rooms have king beds and the 3rd has a queen. All bedrooms have a 50'' smart TV and living has a 65'' smart TV - all w/HBO Max, Netflix, ESPN+, and Disney+. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you'd need to cook with including an airfryer. Laundry/dryer on main level. Yard is huge and fully fenced in making it a perfect spot for kiddos and people traveling with dogs. Spacious patio is perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails.
The space
This home is 1,165 sq ft ranch with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Walk into main level with that has hardwood floors throughout. Living room is spacious and open with a 65” smart Roku tv. Two bedrooms are located on the south side of the home. The south west bedroom has a king size bed, 3 drawer dresser, luggage rack, mini tabletop ironing board, iron, hangers, white noise machine, and 50” smart Roku tv. South east bedroom has queen sized bed, mini tabletop ironing board, iron, hangers, 3 drawer dresser, white noise machine and luggage rack, as well as a 50” smart Roku tv. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the hallway between the two south bedrooms. Hall bath is a shower over tub with extra tall shower head. Living room opens into kitchen/dining combo with backyard access. Dining room has table large enough to seat 6. Kitchen is galley style with French door fridge, microwave, electric stove/range, and dishwasher. Kitchen is fully stocked with plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, air fryer, waffle maker, blender, mixing bowls, griddle, cast iron skillet, toaster and more. Kitchen also has coffee maker, Starbucks coffee and small coffee bar featuring multiple coffee flavor syrups. 3rd bedroom is down hallway off the kitchen. Bedroom has a king sized bed, mini tabletop ironing board, iron, hangers, 3 drawer dresser, luggage rack, 50” smart Roku tv, white noise machine and en suite private bath. Primary bath has walk-in shower. Backdoor off of kitchen takes you back to the massive fully fenced backyard and patio. There are three steps from the backdoor that take you onto two tiered concrete patio. Top tier patio space has table and 3 chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or step down onto second tier with full patio couch and coffee table. During summer months we have a small basket with outdoor balls, wiffle ball bat and ball, and firefly catchers for the kiddos to enjoy!
Guest access
Garage and basement are off limits to guest. Guests are welcome to use all of the finished home space, as well as have full access to front and back yard.

Property is in a neighborhood setting, but area is close to the highway so the front bedrooms (2 with king beds) can get some slight traffic noise. White noise machine is provided in each bedroom for guest use. :)

This is a very nice place. Are group was made up of three double bassists attending a week long music workshop at the nearby high school. The property was spacious enough for our instruments. The description mentioned highway noise, but couldn’t hear any. The property was clean except for one dog waste bag in the back yard, and some hair in a shower drain. There was some recent water damage in the ceiling due to some recent hail storms. The listing said three king beds, but really it is two kings and a queen. All the beds were comfortable, and we found the house quiet and comfortable. We didn’t use it, but there is a lovely large back yard. And the neighborhood is filled with beautiful trees and lawns, and the neighbors are very nice. It was perfect for our group!

The property was just as listed. It was clean and had everything our family needed for our stay in Miriam for a softball tournament. The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Will definitely stay there again when we are in town for tournaments.

My husband and I planned an extended weekend trip to the Kansas City area with my brother-in-law/sister-in-law, specifically to enjoy some of KC's famous BBQ. We chose this VRBO specifically as it as located in a safe residential area and also provided a bedroom with king-sized beds and separate bathrooms for each couple. (there is also a 3rd bdrm with a queen sized bed). The home was clean and well appointed with everything you would need in the kitchen including staples like coffee, sweeteners, coffee syrups and even some complimentary chips and beverages. Itwas wet and rainy during our extended weekend, however we were nice and cozy and the furnace worked quickly and efficiency to heat up the house when needed. We went to 6 different BBQ places (lunch and dinner x 3 days 😋). We never drove more than 20 minutes to get to anything. What we also loved was the fact that we had easy access to the interstate and were only a minute's drive from Target, Ikea, a movie theater and HyVee grocery store to pick up any additional supplies for our weekend.There is complimentary streaming TV services and the host, Mary Beth was very responsive in helping us reset some passwords to get access. I would absolutely rebook this VRBO.

Our group of five ladies loved this house. We traveled to KC for the Ed Sheeran concert at Arrowhead and spent two nights. It has a great location, super easy access to the highway (and any sites you might want to visit) but it is in such a cute and quiet neighborhood. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and retail stores within walkable distance. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was very clean. Mary Beth was so sweet both types we communicated. I can’t recommend staying here enough! Thanks again, Mary Beth!

We stayed for a long weekend to take our family to a concert and this was the best experience for a air B&B we could have asked for!! House was very clean and stocked with basic amenities that really spoke to caring about details. Communication was super simple and very much appreciated how the owner takes care of the property. We live 3 hours away so anytime we have a plan to come back to Kansas City we want to stay here again and we’ve already referred two friends to check it out for their trips. I stay at VRBO's monthly and this one was one of the best. The outdoor space was so nice, the beds were heavenly, the location was absolutely fantastic. It was in a well kept neighborhood and very quiet. The neighbors can see into the back yard, but we never saw them. Home Depot, IHOP, Chili's, and other shopping is right around the corner. We had 4 adults stay and we all felt like we had privacy.

Mary Beth is an amazing host. The house was beautiful, clean and exactly what our group needed for the weekend. We were able to bring our dogs and they LOVED the big back yard. We went to a concert at Azure Amphitheater and it was a short 20 minutes away. The neighborhood is great, close to shopping and highways. Definitely will stay here again!!

We love this home ! Super clean/organized. Small details that really make difference. Amazing fenced yard. Plenty of essentials. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of creamer, paper towels etc….
