Brook House in Earl Soham, Suffolk, sleeps eight guests in four bedrooms
The living areas in this property consist of kitchen/diner with a Rangemaster with five-ring hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, and a dishwasher, two sitting rooms, both with woodburning stoves and TVs. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size, two king-size and a twin, along with a bathroom and shower room. Outside there is allocated parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You’ll find a deli/butchers 500 metres up the road, shop in 3.6 miles and a pub in 0.2 miles. Brook House is a wonderfully positioned to explore all that Suffolk has to offer. Note: There will be a welcome gift on arrival. Note: No unaccompanied teenagers please.

Town: The beautiful market town of Framlingham is mentioned in the Domesday Book (1086) and has been known since Anglo Saxon times, when it consisted of several manors which William the Conqueror (1066-1087) presented to Roger Bigod. The town is of particular interest as it has a large castle and mere which was built between 1190 and 1210. The town is surrounded by lovely villages to explore and has two of the oldest working post boxes and one of Britain’s smallest houses, with the footprint measuring 6.1x2.2m! Today, the town offers a number of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and it is also home to Framlingham Summer Arts Festival.
