The property listing was very misleading. Property looked very run down. No one in the office. Finally walked around and bumped into the owner. After a short conversation , we decided to leave and find new accommodations.

Quaint and very nice. Pool and hot tub were great and clean.

This was a quaint, dated facility. Our room was clean and comfortable. There are a couple chairs on the front porch. This place is a little dated (a shallow, blue tub, for example). But what they don’t have for modern convenience they make up for in cleanliness and coziness. We had 3 people on our trip (husband, son, and self) and it worked well for us. All of the necessary staples were there: microwave, small fridge, closet, and tv), all in working order. If you just want a quiet, peaceful place to rest after a long day outdoors, this place is great. The manager left the key in our room for our arrival and we were able to leave it in the same place for our departure. We didn’t get to try the pool but the area was neat and the water looked great. Definitely will return for our next trip.

It was a very comfortable stay. Quiet clean typical old 70’s motel. I enjoyed it. Very close to family and all activities. My granddaughter loved swimming and walking around the grounds.

Solid motor lodge.
Pros: very clean; AC worked great and the filter was clean; the bedding was high quality; the pool and hot tub were nice and well-maintained
Cons: despite being the only guests in the hotel, our rooms weren't ready at the stated check-in time; the door knob on the inside of the bathroom door was missing; there was no shampoo in the shampoo dispenser

Blast from the past 1960’s vibe with blue toilet, bath and sink! Comfortable beds. Quaint little town. Has breakfast at Polly’s Pancake House just up the road.

We had a nice night away from home. The manager called us ahead of time to make sure we knew what room we were in. He was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was great being only a half hour away from Santas village so we didn't have to travel far in the morning. Also the price was better than other places! Win! Thank you!

All the outlets, plug something in, it falls right out!. Rugs needed vacuuming. Screen door need to get replaced could not open, which did get done! No owner on site! Didn't like that.maintenece guy not never very eager to get some things done! My friend and I went out for the day, asked Seth to lock up when he was done, he left our cabin UNLOCKED! cobwebs every where. Dusty, really dirty windows, some did not lock. Baseboards were gross. The outside around the cabin was rotting. I was really disappointed, especially after paying almost $700.00 dollers for 3 nights!!!! I think I should get some money back!!! All the pictures of the motel and cottages very deserving!!!

Nice cabin in a convenient location.

Overall I was disappointed in my stay here. It started by receiving a phone call from one of the managers who was rude and abrasive without cause. He was very unclear about check-in protocol, and basically said “I think your room is ready before 3pm, but don’t quote me on that I don’t know. You really could have called to figure it out instead of just planning on showing up at 3, you know.” When we got there, the room smelled musty and dank. The carpet obviously hadn’t been changed in 20 years, and there was mold in the shampoo dispensers in the shower. By running the cobweb-covered fan constantly we were able to lose most of the smell in the room which helped us sleep. The pool on the property was closed and in disarray. We faced more rudeness the following morning when we inquired as to where we should leave our room key after checkout. The worker seemed bothered that we asked and was abrasive in his response, saying “Do whatever you want. Give the key to me, leave it in your room, I don’t care.” Overall I would not stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone else.

We were looking for a budget friendly and pet friendly place In the area for a quick stay on a hiking trip. We were greeted by a worker who appeared somewhat frustrated with us that we had dogs, even though we mentioned in our booking that we were traveling with two. We chose this location because of the hot tub, but were disappointed shortly after arriving when we found out there isn’t one. Despite that frustration, the place was quiet, the location is pretty, and the beds were comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking here again when we’re in the area. The tub was a definite plus, as was the bars on the side, I am partially handicapped so it meant a great deal to me to take a bath and feel safe in doing so.

I booked a double bed room for me, my boyfriend, and his 11 year old son here because the site said pool and hot tub. Both were not open, beds sunken in, ac unit only worked as a fan, had to crawl under the tables and unplug lights to charge our phones, all of which I still wouldn’t write a bad review if it wasn’t for the owner. He said I should know pools don’t open till June in New Hampshire. Even though temperatures were in the high 60s and 70s. He came up to my boyfriend and said he would be giving us a discount without us asking for one but when the bill processed, no discount. I told him just to let him know that the bathroom door doesn’t close and he got short with me. Wouldn’t a business owner want to know things that need to be attended to? Had a nice view but not worth the price for discomfort. Sir, be kinder to people staying at your motel. Some people may not be so nice when treated so poorly. Ps get an electrician to update the outlets. They have no ground. Super dangerous and everything has clearly not been changed since the 80s. My boyfriend said at least there’s coffee! Then puts the creamer in his coffee only for it to curdle. Are those creamers from the 80s too? Disappointing all around.

Great people, nice little spot. I'll definitely be back

Our room was clean and the beds are reasonably comfortable. We could hear noise from the bathroom next door in the morning well enough for it to wake us. The view of the mountains from our room was beautiful

Best part of the property is the panoramic view! Bathroom was very small with blue fixtures and tan and brown tiles from the sixties. No fan for ventilation. Room was clean but had a very slight odor. Beds were comfortable. Group of college kids came in late. They were outside and loud until after 11 pm

Was an amazing weekend away from home. Kindest owners! We needed a change in bedding due to a little ones accident and they were on it! We were warm and cozy for our weekend in the mountains! Even forgot our kiddos blankey and they found it for us! Very fun and comfortable weekend. Clean and cozy!

Nice quiet place. Messaged me and let me know heat was on, lights were on, and I could check in early if i wanted. The room was clean, comfortable and cozy.

Motel is a dump. Probably built in the 50’s and hasn’t been updated since then. Beautiful area especially in foliage! Choose carefully and look at reviews because the area is otherwise worn out.

Not happy with check in no one in office had to call using my english phone on arrival which cost a lot of money

Room was very quiet; easy to sleep
Room stayed warm most of the night and became uncomfortable.
The pipes in adjacent rooms make noise when people are showering. Somewhat annoying.

Was a cute little place, disappointed we couldn’t use the indoor hot tub as that’s one of the reasons for booking but other than that it was great

Stayed two nights. It was clean but “vintage” w mid century blue sink, toilet, and tub. The water for showering was only lukewarm. No hair dryer, no breakfast. Only real positive was close to Fraconia Notch SP and Polly’s Pancakes (a local treat).

Convenient location to Flume Gorge. However the room is not clean, bed sheets with stains. Not a pleasant experience.

I will definitely be back! The best part about the hotel is the ridiculously easy check in and checkout process! If you arrive after four and I leave the key in the room for you. And the next day you just leave the key in the room and leave. I wish every hotel had that same relaxed policy it was absolutely beautiful. Now if you’re extra fancy and don’t like your room to be dated and run down and then this isn’t the place for you. Definitely clean and comfortable but it needs a lot of updates .For example my toilet seat had rust on it. But if you’re flying solo or a couple or just staying for a couple days is 1000% worth it. And like I said I’ll definitely be returning !

The manager left a voice mail stating she was leaving my key inside the room and it would be unlocked with the lights on.
The whole drive was horrendous it was like driving on a buckboard. All uneven, we have a small car and lucky i did not brake anything under my car.
The shower has mold growing around the corking. We stayed there only six hours because of the the beds not being comfortable ect...

I just want to start off, saying that the owner of this motel is the sweetest person ever!! I also love the old school style of the bathrooms! I love the 70’s blue in the bathroom<3 this place was really clean. Even though the pool area was closed, I will say the pool was crystal clear and super clean. I will definitely be coming back here in the fall!!! This is a cute place to stay. If you’re looking for something simple and someplace quiet, I would recommend this place.
2.0
Basic motel but clean with all the standards you would expect including a pool and hot tub, and the surprise being a totally solar powered endeavor. Eco isn't just marketing!

Staff at hotel was extremely helpful
