About this house rental
If you are looking for a place to have a party filled vacation with friends, while we don't blame you, this is NOT the house for you.
Our home is located in a quiet family neighborhood and is not good for letting loose. Most neighborhood residents are full-time, not renters. If you choose to rent from us we respectfully ask that you treat our home as your own and refrain from having parties and such. Our plan is to spend our golden years in this home so please take good care of it! That being said It will be perfect for fun-filled quality time with family!
Huge open floor plan - main floor with comfy seating area with large breakfast bar with seating for 4 people, built in kitchen banquette, dining table that seats 10, tons of natural light, and overlooking beautiful Lake Norman!
Well equipped kitchen for preparing meals in the home, while also being only minutes from Mooresville and Denver with great waterfront dining and many local restaurants to enjoy. Publix is also only 10 minutes away! Kitchen includes combo coffeemaker / Keurig, microwave, blender, toaster, stove / oven with convection, toaster oven, AirFryer, food processor, dishwasher, place settings for 12, basic kitchen tools, full set of cookware, various bakeware, mixing / serving bowls, basic spices, etc. For health safety reasons, we do not leave or allow to be left any refrigerated items including basic condiments.
The upstairs includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms:
• . Garden Room with a queen size bed
• . Bunk Room includes a set of bunk beds plus an additional twin and trundle
• . Upstairs Master also includes a queen size bed, walk in closet, a full en suite, and sliding glass doors that open to the large upper deck overlooking the lake.
The Garden Room and Bunk Room share the full hallway bath.
Downstairs includes an oversized master suite including a king size bed, sitting area with gas fireplace, TV, and leather recliners, and a full en suite including a large tub (jets do not work) and separate shower with 3 shower heads!
Also downstairs is a game room including pool table, FireTV, Wii, games, and wet bar for indoor entertainment. You could sleep an extra person on the oversized couch in the game room.
Every room, including bedrooms, are equipped with TV's, smartTV's (pool room) or Roku TV's (main room). The Garden Room includes Netflix. High speed wireless internet is also available to all renters for no charge.
But that's just the inside, and let's be honest, if you're coming to Lake Norman, you want to be outside enjoying the beautiful lake! This home features 2 levels of outdoor decks, a large flat yard, AND a private beach! The upstairs deck includes a covered area just off the kitchen / living room with both a sitting area and dining table. That continues into a large open deck for enjoying the sun and views!
The downstairs deck, off the game room and master bedroom, includes a large outdoor bar with TV for watching your favorite team while you're enjoying the great outdoors. The large open yard is great for a family football or soccer game on the way down to the large private beach and floating dock for enjoying the lake!
The house sits on a quiet cove just off the main channel, so you get the peacefulness of the cove with the views and convenience of being just a few hundred yards from the main channel. Enjoy a sunset gathered around the fire pit (wood not provided).
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood where you'll feel like you have escaped the hustle and bustle of the world, while still being only minutes from every convenience you could need. The large driveway allows for parking many vehicles, if necessary.
Please note, you may notice there are EXTERNAL security cameras on the property. THERE ARE NO CAMERAS ON THE INTERIOR OF THE PROPERTY.

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Lots of amenities and everything was clean and well kept. The water was low and owner said it hasn’t been that low at this time of the year since they’ve owned. Was better to go float a little further from dock to avoid the “murky” water around dock. The beach area was fantastic. Owner was great at answering any questions. Definitely would recommend.

This was a beautiful and so very comfortable home situated right on the lake. Our three-generation family loved the space and amenities! So very young-child friendly, with baby gate, pack-n-play, toys, etc. Lots of water toys kept the older ones happy, too. We loved the fire pit and private beach with dock. Our gourmet-loving family found the kitchen to be very well equipped down to an abundance of spices and nearly every conceivable kitchen accessory. While I found the two adult mattresses upstairs much too firm for my liking, everyone has their preference.
After a brief stint without electricity (tornado touched down at the lake!), Louise was fantastic about keeping in touch during the power failure - I couldn't ask for a more responsive owner. We would definitely return to this incredible vacation home if again at Lake Norman.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The house was really nice and well-equipped for a family with young kids, and the outdoor areas (beach, deck, dock, etc.) provided tons of entertainment. Louise was really nice and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The entire experience was perfect, and we can't wait to come back!

The house is beautiful and in a good location. Everything that we needed was provided and if we needed suggestions on where we could rent a boat or jet skis the owners were happy to help. We had family getting together from different parts of the country and their home made it easy for everyone have a good time and a vacation that we will not forget.

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway at Lake Norman. The home was clean, spacious and stocked with everything you could think of! Owners were friendly and responsive. Having the dock and close proximity to a launch made bringing our boat a breeze. Fun was had by all (adults and kids)!

We had a blast. Nobody wanted to go home, thats how i judge a quality vaca. Hosts were awesome, location is great. Quiet and relaxing neighborhood. Zero complaints about anything.

The owners of the property offered prompt and detailed communication throughout the stay, which was helpful. The interior of the home was clean when we arrived, and the space provided plenty of room for our family. The kitchen provided all of the utensils that one would need to cook, and the bedrooms and bathrooms provided decent amenities. The outdoor entertaining space was comfortable, but it would have been nice if the outdoor fan was operational. The grounds were in reasonably good shape. The firepit area was a nice touch. However, there were weeds growing in the sand and down by the water that had not been tended. Overall, I would say that the rental provided us what we needed, but the requirement to wash all of the sheets and towels before a 10am departure seemed excessive in light of the fact that you are trying to pack up your belongings.

We had a great time visiting Lake Norman. The house was perfect for our group of 9. We really enjoyed a few games of pool in the evenings after a day spent out on the lake. Would definitely rent again.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. We enjoyed the pontoon boat and lake Norman. House had plenty of seating and nicely appointed bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Owners are very responsive to questions. View from the upper deck is awesome.

Beautiful home, just as advertised! Very clean, well stocked, great amenities. Location was really convenient to a marina, dining and grocery. This was our first visit to Lake Norman and after doing some exploring around the lake by boat, we really appreciated the homes location on the water as well. Hosts were great and easy to work with!

This house was perfect for our family of 8. The updated kitchen and common area were very attractive and inviting. My favorite part of the house was the big windows in the kitchen area overlooking the lake and of course the porches. The house was very clean and well equipped with blankets, towels, and kitchen supplies. My only negative comment about the house was having to wash the sheets and towels on the last day before you checked out at 10:00. This added more stress to an already stressful morning of packing and cleaning the house. However, the homeowners were very understanding when I didn't quite have everything washed and dried. Excellent house, excellent yard, and excellent location on the lake.

The house was wonderful. I loved the porch over the upper deck so much I had my husband taking notes. We enjoyed just sitting around on the deck enjoying the evenings, My son and his wife actually caught quite a few fish from the dock one night. He plays for VCU and they’re in the A-10 Conference. This home we rented was ideal!! If you’re looking for a waterfront property on a beautiful lake that’s very quiet and clean this is your place! Restaurants and shopping are only minutes away. Wildlife all over the place! We will definitely be renting from Susan and Jeff again. Btw… Susan and Jeff are the owners and any question you have they will respond very promptly. We rent with VRBO quite often and this home rates up near the top.!! Thanks Susan and Jeff for a wonderful vacation!!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Lake Norman. View was beautiful.
House is spacious and well decorated with good theme. It is also well stocked with kitchen gadgets and dishes etc.
Mattress in the bunk beds were sagging! All other rooms were good.
Jacuzzi did not work, dishwasher was temperamental did not work consistently.
Jeff was always available and responded promptly to all our concern.
We did laundry except the last day, trying to get out by 10:00 AM and doing towel and bed sheets were not possible.
All in all we had good times.

We were very pleased with this property and house. It was so much fun to get together with all of our grown children and significant others. The house had all we needed and we had great weather. It was a very relaxing week, kyaking, paddleboarding and tubing on the lake. We would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay for vacation!

Amazing property! The home is beautiful with all the nice touches - indoor/outdoor speakers throughout the property and lots of outside seating! We truly enjoyed our stay and the homeowners made sure they had plenty of towels and extras to make are stay wonderful! We will be back!

The home was warm and inviting. Fabulous kitchen which we cooked all our meals. The kids enjoyed the yard and the sand area. We rented a boat for two days and it was great to use the home’s dock. Plenty of room and a great neighborhood to take a walk.

My family had a great time in this lake house! The home was recently renovated so it is very up-to-date and beautifully decorated. We loved the view of the water and the peacefulness of the inlet that the house sits on. We rented a pontoon boat and spent lots of time on the water! The inlet is also calm and protected so it was great for stand-up paddleboarding. Owners were responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Our stay at Susan & Jefferys home couldn’t have been better. The kitchen/outside seating area was amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better layout for our family to gather. Susan & Jeffery were easy to get ahold of, and promptly answered any questions we had prior to, and during our stay. Excellent hosts and excellent house.
