About this villa rental

This beautiful villa is the idyllic place to escape to during your visit to Sicily’s western coast; it offers glimpses of the sea and the beautiful mountains.

As you enter this villa you are welcomed into a charming home, that combines authentic Italian charm from the original build with modern touches. Unique artwork lines the walls and tilled flooring offers an exciting touch to your new home away from home. The villa comprises of the manor house and an annex, perfect for a big group.

The ground floor offers a large, open-plan living area with enough space for all members of the groups to relax together or have their own moment of solitude. It’s also a great spot for movie night. On this floor you will also find the dining area that can fit everyone around the dining table, making for lovely memories and meal times. Said meals can be prepared in the well-equipped kitchen that has everything you could need to whip up a feast.

This villa offers four bedrooms in the manor house, three of which are on the ground floor and the master room on the second floor with an en-suite bathroom and balcony overlooking the sea and the private pool. The bathrooms are just spectacular, some offer claw foot tubs and others even have a glimpse of the sea. There are four bathrooms in the manor house, and one in the annex.

The annex offers a living and dining area with a kitchenette that has everything you need, as well as a double bedroom and bathroom. This spot is ideal for a family looking for a little extra privacy from the group.

The villa boasts a large, lush garden with plenty of colourful blooms and lawned areas - ideal for kids to run around. It also has a glistening private pool, with sun loungers surrounding it. The outdoor dining area is perfect for an alfresco meal, which can even be prepared on the barbecue.

Villa Venere is located on the edge of Marsala, a charming coastal town that has beautiful beaches and ancient ruins. It’s just a short walk to the centre  and there’s also a delicatessen and restaurant between the villa and town.

Located on the western most spot of Sicily, this villa is near Trapani (27km) and Erice (47km).

Location:

This villa is located in Marsala, a coastal town in Western Sicily that is renowned for its ancient ruins, fortified Marsala wine and it’s stunning nature reserve. In other words, it’s a place that has something for everyone. This villa is located on the edge of the town, just a short walk into the centre.

Marsala has plenty of authentic restaurants, many offering the regions famous wine. There is a restaurant a very short walk from the villa and a delicatessen between the villa and the town.

The town has a train station that connects to other area in Sicily, making it easy to travel around the area without a car should you wish. You can’t visit the area and not explore some of the spectacular ruins, such as Tophet and Parco Archeologico di Lilibeo.

Should you wish to explore more of Sicily’s west coast, you are just a short drive away from some of the most beautiful sites on offer. Trapani is nearby. This city is known as one of the most romantic places in Sicily, characterised by long stretches of coast and windmills.

Also nearby is the historic town of Erice. This spot is an incredibly charming place, with an unforgettable medieval history that offers a lot of ancient origins. You can’t miss the Castello di Venere (castle ruins) and Torretta Pepoli (turreted stone).

Sicily is a place known for its well-preserved ruins and historical sites, as well as it clear beaches, so no trip would be complete without ticking these things off your list. With mild climate, it’s the ideal place to visit all year long.

Security deposit?
€1,000 paid in cash to the owner upon arrival and refunded after departure, subject to full inspection.

Arrival time?
4pm - 9pm (late arrivals between 9pm - 12a.m. will be charged €30, paid locally).

Departure time?
8am - 10am

End of stay cleaning included?
Yes and light, daily cleaning included. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.



Linen & towels included?
Yes, bath towels changed mid-week.

Energy costs included?
Yes.

Heating costs included?
Cost on consumption, paid locally.

Minimum stay?
7 nights.

Changeover day?
Saturday from approximately end of July to end of August. Flexible during all other periods.

Pool opening dates?
The pool is open approximately beginning of April to beginning of November. Please note that pool opening dates are subject to local weather conditions and pool maintenance requirements and that cooler months may not be suitable for swimming.

When the 7-person occupancy is booked, the annexe is closed and cannot be accessed by guests. When the 9-person occupancy is booked, all of the property is at the guests’ disposal.
