The furniture extremely old, the chair in the dining area had pot holes, basically the seats couldnt use because of the center area were broke thru. 2 of the chairs the legs were so loose we had to move so no one fell. The shotty repair try on them with the wood screws did not work. If you have a house to sleep 16 you need to be able to sit 16. The wasp nest(huge) nearly prevented the grill use. The inflatable hot tub had no jet just warm water. The neighbor hood was in the worst part of town, traveled for bags of ice to local gas station that lucky for us had 6 armed guard security with bullet proof vest! We had to have the ice because the refigerator was cold enough for the food to store. over all horrible i book this for Golf reunion for my family of men to be able to fellowship we had family from Ohio, Georgia, Texas and Kentucky, all of which were disappointed in the house. I truly feel I had been mislead and cheated by the owners of this property. I feel cheated by management for allowing these picture that truly do not reflect the property. Over all I will express this sediment on to everyone that ask..

We came together as a family to celebrate the life of our Father. Family members came and went, we sorted family pictures on the round table. We grilled. We hot tubbed. Children played in the great yard , with the great swing. We reconnected. We made GREAT new memories.

We came into Birmingham for the Hoover SEC college baseball championship. We stayed at the perfect house for our family!! We had 4 littles under 3 and they absolutely loved the swing and the fenced in yard was amazing. We had plenty of bed rooms and lots of room!! Thank you so much!! We had a blast and I highly recommend staying here!!

The listing was as advertised we enjoyed the 5 days Kitchen silver ware drawer was somewhat blocked, no cookie sheets, lots of dishes and glasses. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Will reserve next year.

We were in town for our son's wedding. We had 14 adults and 2 kids (ages 4 to 82). Plenty of bedroom space with comfy beds and nice linens (plenty of towels in bath as well). The kids loved the swing in the yard--they played out there every time we were at the house. Kitchen is dated but functional (lots of dishes, glasses and silverware). No ice maker--bring ice! Basement is poorly insulated, so damp and cold with very steep steps going down. Entrance steps (both front and back) were a challenge for my 82 yr old mom but doable. Some cleaning/ maintenance issues but owner was responsive and will get them resolved.

6 adults in a 6 BR house. With only 2 showers, having the hot water fail made it tough. Owner sent someone out timely, but by the next morning, we were having the same problem. This an old house that most likely needs a new and tankless water heater. The host was apologetic and responsive. But that frankly did not help us on this stay. Offering a credit for our inconvenience would have been a nice gesture.

The property was great for our group of 10 ages 19 -83. The property was clean and easy to access. There was plenty of dinner and drink ware for the group. The location of the property was great as it was close to downtown. I loved the outdoor entertainment area! The microwave needs to be replaced, otherwise everything else was fine.

We came to Birmingham to bring our 10u baseball team to a Savannah Bananas game. This was the perfect place for a bunch of boys! The had a blast on the fort, swing, and side yard. They had a great time roasted marshmallows at the fire pit. It was an amazing stay and we had such a great hosts! The boys had an absolute blast! This trip was for the books and the property was the icing on the cake. The upstairs and down stairs beds and bath made it a breeze for the boys to have there own space at times and enough room for multiple families!

We came into town for a wedding with 3 other families and needed a place where we could all stay together to spend some quality time. This place was in a great location, very close to the interstate, had lots of room for lounging, a great downstairs space with lots of bedrooms and entertainment spaces. This was a well thought out rental! The kids enjoyed the ample yard space as well as swing and play-set while the adults enjoyed the large front porch area. Checking in and out was very easy and there was plenty of parking space for each family. There was also an outdoor fire pit in the backyard we hope to make use of in the future! Will recommend to our friends and would definitely return to visit!

This house was delightfully restored and conveniently located; only hard thing was a few houses down it looked “scary”. The beds and amenities were very comfortable. Lots of stairs, several rooms made
It house our large family quite comfortably. It was nice to sit on their
Porch too.

Met our needs. Thought the third bathroom was a full, but only half. Layout was a little odd, but functional. Great house and area! Perfect for our needs, except the washer didn’t work and there were no cleaning supplies to assist in cleanup.

Overall pretty good stay, but I would stay somewhere different next time we find ourselves in Birmingham. The home was well stocked with towels and the basic necessities including glassware and plates for 8 people, which was a big plus. The beds were comfortable as well.
The layout is strange with it being a very old home, but it did have good size beds for all 8 of us. The main living spaces were not easily large enough for our group of 8.
The biggest complaint was the cleanliness. It was not clean. Lots of bugs, including in one of the beds and around the showers and bathrooms and floors. The home is old, but should be better cleaned being rented so often. Other big issue was the wifi. The first 2 nights it worked fine, the last 2 nights it was not functional almost at all. Given how much we depend on this, it was a pretty big inconvenience for us.

We are from Memphis and had friends joining us from Atlanta to ring in the new year. We had a great time and the house was perfect! We felt safe and comfortable here. We had 5 kids between our families and they had fun on the swing and climbing structure. The bedrooms were so comfortable and we were very pleased overall!

We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces including a fenced-in yard, swing, treehouse and fire pit. The off-street covered parking was an additional plus. Inside was spacious with games for the kids, multiple tv’s and plenty of room to spread out. A fun stay!
