This place was spectacular. The decor made you feel like you were living inside the movie Clue or maybe the house in Locke and Key. It was very clean, quiet, and just absolutely beautiful. We will be back next fall and we won’t bother looking to stay elsewhere. I would give our stay a 12 out of five stars.

Amazing property!! A mansion full of oak paneling, oak floors, oak everywhere!! A room just for the game of pool, soft music and lots of snacks. Self check in also. What an experience !! Close to downtown and places to eat!! Great place!!

Beautiful gem in the center of Warren PA. Close to downtown. Absolutely gorgeous home, comfortable and remarkably clean. Reasonably priced.

Gorgeous property, amenities, history, staff was super responsive. Only gripe were that the AC units (understood house was OLD and historic) were super loud, same group monopolized billiards room from 4:00-10:00 pm and a cat urinated on our car tires overnight.

This was a breathe of fresh air. They kept in touch and made sure everything was ready for us. There was snacks and drinks available all day for us.

If I did not need to include the third floor room, I would give a higher rating. The facility is very charming and the first two floors are clean and well appointed. However, the third floor had very dirty/multiple stains off-white plush carpet that is dated and adds nothing. The room had no charm of the first two floors, the lighting was harsh, the AC unit loud, the furniture was simple not in cohesion with the rest of the facility, and nothing to make it inviting - stark walls, no decor. Some color would have been nice! There are sloping ceilings, so I would not recommend it for anyone over 5'8".
However, the breakfast was a good, the terrace and common rooms were very charming, free on-site parking, billards room with beer on tap, and very nice toiletries in the room.

AMAZING!

This is one of the classiest places I have ever stayed. The room was extremely comfortable and the amenities were top notch. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the billiard room, complementary beer on-tap or game room as we arrived late but we did enjoy the well appointed continental breakfast.

Wonderful hotel, amazing rooms and very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

Truly unique historical building with beautiful features at every turn. Management went above and beyond for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed at Hazeltine!! Catherine was so kind and the suite was amazing. We had lots of fun in the billiards room and exploring the town which is only a short walk away. We definitely plan to come back again :)

This was a lovely old mansion that made you feel you were living in a bygone era.
The furnishings were exceptional and truly authentic.
Catherine welcomed us and made us feel at home She couldn't have been more helpful. If you enjoy luxury this is a place to visit. You wont be disappointed

This is my second stay at the Hazeltine. It's a beautiful and tastefully decorated grand old mansion. I feel right at home. I stayed in the Mossy Oak room with a view of the river. Last time I was across the hall in the Glenora. When I return I'll probably pay the extra $20 dollars for the bigger bathroom of the Glenora. Both rooms are lovely. If you want, you can play billiards and pull a draught of free beer in the billiard room. There are two sitting rooms to lounge in. The compact downtown is an easy walk down the street. I recommend the Plaza, a Greek place for dinner and the Arbor for coffee and breakfast -- both a five minute or so walk. The town has some magnificent architecture of which the Hazeltine is one lovely example. Glad I found the place!

Loved our stay in this historic mansion BnB overlooking the Allegheny R. Room was excellent. Breakfast wonderful. The host was so hospitable. This place was a highlight of our road trip. The historic European antiques and decor is amazing.

Beautiful place! Amazing attention to detail! Comfortable and had everything we needed!

The Hazeltine is a beautiful B&B. It is a stately home that has been restored to its "gilded age" glory. This does not mean that it isn't up to date in amenities. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a first-rate accommodation. In addition, it is reasonably priced.

Catherine was friendly and very helpful. She showed us around the house and gave us a bit of it's history. Gave some good recommendations for dinner and made herself available if we needed anything. Check in and check out were easy and convenient. The house itself is amazing. True to period and one of, if not the nicest that we've stayed in. The only thing we felt that was lacking was having a staff member available for breakfast. We understand that this is the trend since Covid, along with Continental style breakfasts, but we've always considered it part of the charm of a place like this. We did enjoy the pool table, dart board and craft beer on tap. Lovely place. We'll be back.

Beautiful property perfect for getting ready for a wedding or a romantic getaway. I recommend the hazeltine suite, with it's fabulous triple-showerheaded shower, beautiful balcony, and hot tub.
Also free beer on tap in the billiards room. Can't beat that.

Gorgeous property!!! Even though all the rooms were booked for 2 different weddings, the place was quiet. It allowed for each party to have their own needs met for getting ready, gathering for photos, and areas to relax. They have 2 local beers on draft, bottled water, and pop available also. So nice to see something like this in Warren.

Loved the architecture and staff. Refurbished areas were impeccable. Parking is easy once you learn your way around.
Billiard room with cozy beer taps were an unexpected treat. Large sitting rooms for relaxation, and entire property filled with antiques.
No front desk, so text the manager for checking in and door codes.

Extraordinary! The pictures don’t do it justice! We selected this place on a whim, and honestly were blown away. Every detail was perfect. My boyfriend said “I think that place ruined us for all other b&bs/hotels in the future.” He’s probably right.

This was a very nice place to stay. The room we stayed in was comfortable, clean and had a very nice bathroom. There were things to do inside the hotel like play pool or relax in one of the parlors. There was a park across the river where we took a nice walk.

Wow, this boutique hotel in downtown Warren is absolutely gorgeous! Impeccably renovated to it's original state. I had the pleasure of touring several of the other guest rooms while they were unoccupied, each room is unique and a whole vibe. Steve and Catherine were both so accommodating, i highly reccomend this location.

What a beautiful property! We stayed in the Hazeltine Room and our stay was way too short. We were just passing through and needing the night, but could easily have stayed longer. It's a very charming, historical home. I would stay here again.

Hazeltine is wonderful! The mansion is beautiful. Steve the owner is helpful and responsive. We had the Hazeltine suite and our stay felt both luxurious and homey. We loved playing billiards and sitting on the balcony of the suite. Having access to the lovely common rooms is a great amenity.

Very well maintained and modern comforts. All the shared areas are relaxing and creates an atmosphere of classic old charm of the Victorian era. Will definitely rebook in the near future.
