It was a great stay. Sometime around 930 smoke alarm went off and scared us lol someone was either smoking or set it off somehow. It was a good laugh after the panic.

An absolutely wonderful experience! Highly recommend.

A charming place with comfortable beds. The bathroom layout was a bit challenging- tight squeeze at the sink. It would be nice to have coffee in the room rather than having to navigate downstairs for it. The common spaces are beautiful. I would stay there again.

Outstanding in nearly every respect. Elicited genuine surprise and delight from the moment of arrival. The hotel is a beautifully restored historic residence with lovely period details and superior contemporary interior design and furniture in a great location. The hotel has contactless access and service so don’t expect a boutique experience like you might find in some hotels with that label but it’s not missed here because you can see the care that goes into every detail of the operation. Example: the hotel provides a high-quality handheld clothes steamer in every room. One of many nice and thoughtful considerations. The only issue we had was spotty internet service—probably not the fault of the hotel. The whole experience is beyond the conventional. Highly recommended.

This is a luxurious property, designed to a last little detail with exceptional taste. You walk in and you feel at home. Just stunning and comfortable.

My sister, daughter, mom and I LOVED this hotel - it was the PERFECT girls weekend getaway. Every detail is covered. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and cozy. The owners are one text away and so responsive - they have thought of everything. Great customer service! Great attention to detail! Such a unique experience we will never forget!

Really cool boutique hotel. Pictures tell the story.

Beautiful space. Clean. Very nicely adorned and location was right by the museum. Friendly service. Would stay again.

I stay here every time im in Kansas City, and its always a perfect stay. The place is absolutely beautiful.
4.8
Beautiful! Easy instructions for access. Gorgeous interior design. Serene outdoor “secret-garden” vibe, quiet neighborhood - while still so close to all-things city. Would definitely stay here again.

The check in process was flawless and Ryan is available to help answer any questions. The property is beautiful and impeccable furnished. The mattress was the most comfortable we have ever slept on in a hotel. Great location to popular art museums.

Gorgeous room, gorgeous interior, lovely amenities and the garden was a wonderful plus

Check in was easy, staff very considerate, incredibly quiet, comfortable bed, exquisitely decorated. Loved it here! So much better than any chain hotel I’ve been to!

doing booking process is so easy and straight forward. clean and quite place perfect for people who like to go to museums. and pretty fair price...double thumbs up to this place.

This is my new favorite place to stay in KC! Gorgeous room and property, helpful and friendly staff, and so close to everything art-related and close to other attractions downtown. This boutique hotel should be featured in a magazine. The garden is a peaceful and beautiful oasis in the city. It really doesn’t get any better than this!

Had a lovely and comfortable stay. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

The Aida is LOVELY! Very beautiful and fun decor. It is walking distance to the Kemper Museum, Nelson Atkins Museum, and the Kansas City Plaza.
My one criticism is if you are taller than 5’6”ish, you do not want to be in 3A. The shower is quite short.
We will absolutely stay here again, but I’ll be asking for a first or second floor room.

Beautiful unique boutique hotel.

Our brief two night stay in Kansas City was made so comfortable at Aida. The room was huge, the bed so comfortable, the AC worked great in spite of 100 degree temps. All the touches, from little welcome gifts to the madeleines in the common area were first class. Parking was easy, and we walked to the Nelson-Atkins as well as local restaurants. Hosts were very responsive.

My daughter and I were driving home to Kentucky from Montana. It was a late arrival and we needed help with check in. Ryan was very nice and helped us out immediately! We both LOVED the decor and vibe of the Aida! The bed was extremely comfortable. Absolute perfection! Will definitely stay again!

The vibe of the hotel is an interior designers dream. Each room has a unique sense of style. A construction supervisor. There is no staff at this hotel and it is very quiet. My bed was super comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

quick and easy to book, while having a beautifully decorated and cozy place to stay the night after a long day of driving. i felt safe and enjoyed the whole experience. i had no issues whatsoever, which is extremely ideal when exhausted from travel. 20/10 highly recommend!!!

The Aida is a boutique hotel and you can see the attention to detail in the decor. It’s gorgeous! Our room was the attic and it had a nice area for a vanity and the bathroom was spacious. Just watch your head for the low ceiling. I also loved the garden area. The living rooms on the bottom floor were the perfect place to sit and read. Too bad we only had one night there. It’s close to the Kansas City Art Institute and the Nelson Atkinson Museum.

Beautiful property in a beautiful area. Will definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful, unique hotel! The bed was so cozy and luxurious. We loved the contactless checkin. We actually didn't come into contact with anyone, and it was so quiet which made it feel like we almost had the place to ourselves!! The only negative was that the bathroom in our room (3C) was poorly lit and very warm, which made doing hair and makeup a little challenging. Otherwise, Aida is an absolute gem and we will be back!

Wow. Awesome. Love unique, beautiful places and the bed was Soooo comfortable!

This place is contemporary and gorgeous! Right across from the Contemporary Art Museum.

Best hotel stay ever in my life

The Aida is stunningly gorgeous. The neighborhood was charming and easy to find and park in. The owners were communicative and responsive (I didn't get the check-in emails from hotels.com so they had to send separately). I wish I had been able to stay longer so I could just luxuriate in how pretty the room and lobby was. The only downside was lack of a fridge (to store leftovers). I am going to try to incorporate style tips from the Aida and the Truitt (their sister property) into my home.

I loved the ability to just come j e and go to my room. They have a super vogue situation. I’ll be back. A/C, shower, bd, all amazing.

The perfect stay option for us . We have business in the area this summer and will definitely book this hotel again. Thank you for a lovely stay and great hosts.

This was our second stay at this amazing little gem. Will definitely be our go to when visiting KC

Beautiful architecture, tastefully decorated. Extremely comfortable bedding. Highly recommend staying here.

The room was huge! And the location was great for walking to restaurants and museums. They did a lovely job renovating the house. We could have used a way to drop our bags before parking (about a block away). Great stay. I’ve already recommended it to people.

SUCH a beautiful hotel! I'm so happy I found this place for my stay. Very well designed & clean.

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars, I would. Everything about it was beautiful the decor is modern and gorgeous and welcoming. The property and all the little gardens and seating spaces were great. Already looking for a reason to come back!!

It’s a beautiful house and perfect stay

Aida was within walking distance of the Nelson-Atkinson museum of Art. We enjoyed walking the grounds. We also enjoyed a walk through a park to a nearby barbecue restaurant. The outdoor and indoor sitting areas of the Aida were nice. Enjoyed the art in the living room.
