About this cabin rental
This vintage inspired cabin of organic vibes & mid-century modern style is a perfect retreat charming as Black Mountain itself – idyllic small-town vibes, and welcoming personality. Your dreamy getaway of gorgeous detail, locally sourced antique furnishings, and superb simplicity under the trees is a perfect retreat. Here, you’ll recover, rejuvenate, and explore. Quiet, yet accessible, your home-base is just a stroll from Black Mountain breweries, shops, and eateries.
Originally built in 1940, Blackstone Cabin was carefully reimagined by a talented interior designer who thoughtfully retained the home’s historic vibes while crafting a serene interior for creativity and chill after a day of exploring. Pack picnic baskets for mountain adventures within a kitchen of high-end appliances, pour wines to pair with s’mores for the rustic firepit, and let the cafe lights add atmosphere as you reconnect and relax after sunset. While the farmhouse bathroom refreshes, the cheerful bedroom with queen bed or den
with twin daybed will each help you prepare for a night out of Bluegrass and dinner. In winter, the living room's fireplace will warm evenings in, while outside, fall-season foliage and the home’s striking onyx and ivory hues create a picture perfect backdrop for your memories. Whether you’re looking for a posh couple’s escape or cozy family retreat, find yourself at ease within this superbly maintained, accommodated, and decorated home. From the cabin, stroll to quaint Downtown Black Mountain to enjoy hillside views, framing
galleries, shops, breweries, bistros, and evenings of lively local music. Just moments away, connect with nature along misty Montreat trails, or take a 20 minute drive where the architecture, attractions, and natural beauty of Asheville await. Two Brothers Vacation Rentals looks forward to hosting you - cannot find your dates? We have another rental in Black Mountain as well - be sure to check them both out!
Blackstone cabin is pet friendly! Want to bring your furry friend? Please gain approval before bringing your trained pal. For an additional pet fee, we’re happy to allow up to two pets. Please keep the yard clean by
picking-up after your dog, and vacuum/sweep any hair/dirt inside.

Located at the end of a dead end street and within a 10 minute walk from the town of Black Mountain with many local shops, breweries, and restaurants. Montreat is also just up the road about 5 minutes by car and there are tons of hiking trails to explore the mountains. This home is tucked in the trees but there are other homes next door so not secluded in the woods , rather it is just outside ‘downtown black mountain’
Car is the best option to explore the entire Asheville area, but the cabin is located just a 10 minute walk (on sidewalks!) from the charming town of Black Mountain! Walk to get coffee, lunch, shops, breweries and more.
We are in the mountains, and bears do live here so make sure not to leave food or trash outside and roll the trash can out from yard only on trash day.

The cabin was very clean, kitchen well equipped for cooking (if that’s your thing). My pups enjoyed the fenced in backyard. The walk to shops and restaurants was pretty good, even with our pups. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The little cabin is so cozy and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing weekend getaway. My husband and I, plus our 6-month Bernese mountain dog loved the space! The bed is so comfy and the downstairs living and kitchen area is just perfect! We would definitely book here again!

We spent a perfect weekend here with our adult daughter and puppy. The home was perfect, clean and cozy. We loved walking into town, hiking at Montreat, the proximity to Asheville, and the fenced back yard. We will recommend this spot to anyone looking to spend time in Black Mountain!

Overall a very nice property with reasonable but somewhat minimalist amenities for a one week stay. Downsides included several barking dogs at night nearby and two somewhat sketchy and apparently unoccupied properties opposite the rental in the cul de sac. We did not have any safety concerns about the neighborhood however. The Montreat Road/North Fork/Iroquois intersection is difficult to manage at times both as a motorist and as a pedestrian due to heavy traffic and limited visibility.

We had an enjoyable stay at the cabin. Location was great, easy walk to town. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard. The cabin was adorable, very well stocked with everything we needed from cooking utensils to laundry detergent. Would absolutely stay here again.

This cabin is so cute and we loved being able to walk to get breakfast and coffee in the morning, and to grab a beer at night. 10ish minute walk into Black Mountain, on sidewalks. The cabin was super spacious and so cozy!
