About this house rental
Located in the historic French Quarter and filled with artwork representing the thriving local art community here, Bluegreen Club La Pension represents the city as it stands today–an eclectic mix of history, art, music and beauty. Eclectic decorative touches that add an authentic flair to each villa include handcrafted headboards, locally-sourced photography and handmade conversation pieces like mini-mausoleums, painted chairs posted to ceilings and paintings mounted on salvaged materials.
The historic building still boasts exposed beams and brick walls, but now includes lofty window dressings and modern kitchenettes. And to keep modern chic comfy, the villas include all new plush linens, white spa-inspired bathrooms and pristine pine floors.

CURRENT RENOVATIONS:
As they prepare for your visit, we wish to advise you that the resort will be renovating the 4th floor sundeck beginning October 28, 2024 through November 28, 2024. During this time, the sundeck and the vending area will be closed. We sincerely regret the inconvenience this may cause during your vacation. While the project may involve the distinctive sights and sounds of repairs in progress, every effort will be made to minimize any impact on your vacation experience.
On behalf of the Club La Pension team, as well as the Bluegreen Resorts management team, thank you for your patience and continued support. We look forward to welcoming you in New Orleans, Louisiana!
Other Notes:
Downtown New Orleans, is full of excitement and high energy, it never sleeps. Guests can expect to hear street noise very early in the mornings and at night, especially on weekends, and the fire department just blocks away. Please understand that we have little to no control over noise coming from outside of the property. However, we do provide white noise machines and ear plugs to provide you a more peaceful rest.

Thank you for letting us share a piece of your paradise

Loved the staff. Courteous, helpful , efficient. Room wasn't great. Windows don't open and there's no natural ventilation, so the room had a stale sour smell. A/C blew cold in one room but hardly at all in the other room. Refrigerator made an annoying clicking sound when it cycled on and off. Garbage trucks in the alley outside keep you awake in the middle of the night, even if you're a deep sleeper and use ear plugs like me. Also, no daily housekeeping.

Excellent location. Stayed in a one bedroom unit. Very large living room...nice kitchen. The bed was a full size bed...smaller than a queen. Easy check-in. Definitely plan on staying here agsin!

Extremely convenient to conference hotels. Security top knotch. Friendly and engaging front desk staff.

Very small apartment made smaller by the odd choice of furniture. One extremely uncomfortable foldout couch in the living area that was made halfway habitable by lining with bedroom pillows. One coffee table made of metal slats that silver ware and all manner of things fell through to the floor. Woke every morning at five to the trash truck, or water flushing the system or whatever. Lamps that were too dim to read by. Basically, it was set up for a liaison, rather than a several day stay. Oh well, the bathroom was clean.

We had just arrived and I had left my phone in the cab! Needless to say, It was so upsetting as it had my ID in it but Danielle at the desk saved the day!! She was able to get my ID back and we were ever so grateful :). That was the trip to start but the room and environment were warm and decorated so beautifully with such an authentic feel of New Orleans and the staff was always kind and very helpful. We will definitely return to this location!! Thank you for making our visit so special!!

We have stayed at Club Le Pension many times, and we are overall very satisfied with this resort and the location.

Pros -
- Good location
- Friendly staff
Cons -
- AC didn't work in room, got moved to a much smaller room
- They don't clean the room daily (though it is a hotel / resort and priced accordingly)
- Bed was very uncomfortable, no counter space in bathroom

This was in a very convenient location and the staff were absolutely amazing with anything and everything!

The room was nice. Was a little upset because we had booked Thursday thru Tuesday and starting Saturday each day they thought we were checking out. Everyday we had knocks at the door to clean the room even when we had the do not disturb sign out. And the keys needed to be reset everyday. That was annoying. But I will say this was the perfect place to stay while in New Orleans. The room is nice and so is the staff.

We stayed here instead of the Hilton Riverside for a conference. Easy walking to conference, French Quarter, and shopping. Loved having a “mini” apartment to spread out. Rooftop lounges adorable!
4.4
The location was perfect to walk everywhere and the room decor was unique and fun. It was great to have the separate living room, fridge, microwave, ceiling fan in the bedroom and balcony, all making the stay more comfortable. All hotel staff we encountered were very friendly and check in/out was quick and easy. We would definitely stay here again when back in New Orleans

Stayed for a long weekend with a friend. The pull-out couch made it possible to have separate bedrooms which was perfect for us. Location was great and staff were very friendly!

Great location. Condo just ok - **view is next bldg's wall, **tv in bedrm not working.
**Bathrm toilet was stopped up. Had to plunge myself.
**No water 1 day & night. (They did give us a heads-up) **Parking was a fiasco - they sent me on a wild goose chase, trying to find out where to park.
**Everything in our condo was stolen!! They "found" 1 shirt & gave it back to my son.
Will NEVER book here again! Offered no compensation.

This condo was in the heart of where we wanted to be in New Orleans--very close to everywhere we wanted to go. Room was cozy, kitchen was exactly what we needed--we actually stayed in more than we went out!
4.4
The property offered clean and modest accommodation, and was a short walk from many French Quarter destinations. Recommended for guests who want a good home base to explore and enjoy the Quarter.
4.4
Property was as shown in the pictures. You were on the edge of the French Quarter, so all the attractions were walkable. The ad read available valet parking (for a price), that was not available. We had to park about 6 blocks away in a less then desirable area. Walking back and forth to the car was an adventure.
4.4
The hotel staff were friendly and fun, the room was stunning, with a very comfortable king bed. The hotel is close to everything, and located in a safe area.
