We had an amazing time at this cozy cabin! The interior was beautifully decorated, and the cabin itself was extremely comfortable and well-equipped. The fully stocked kitchen was a huge plus, allowing us to prepare our meals with ease. They also have a natural-gas grill which was great. While we did encounter a minor issue with the hot water on the first day, the owner was incredibly helpful and walked us through the process of getting it running (it just takes a little while for the hot water to kick in).The only downside we faced was regarding trash disposal upon checking out. Since there is no large trash receptacle near the cabin, we had to load all the trash bags into our car and find an open dumpster to dispose of them. Unfortunately, the dumpster was only accessible on specific days, so we ended up having to bring the trash back home with us, as we didn't feel comfortable leaving it in someone else's bin.

Property owner is very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay at this house again.

My family, friends, and I had a great stay at this cabin. It is even nicer in person than in the pictures. The host was very communicative and friendly throughout the stay and you can tell she has very good attention to detail with the organization of the cabin. Loved it and will be recommending to friends and family.

We had the best time staying at the property. It was clean and well maintained. The house was laid out very well to fit a large family with plenty of space to hang out.

This property exceeded our expectations! 3 levels, lots of space and the perfect view to watch the sunrise while drinking coffee on the deck!

Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to escape in the mountains with their families/friends! Coordinated a group of friends to stay in a cabin while we were visiting for a wedding and we had such a good time and stay in this cabin.
THE BEST PART OF THIS CABIN AS THE VIEWS. The views from the cabin were the best! It was so serene just sitting outside drinking coffee and looking at the mountains. It is the last house on the top of mountain/road, so the view isnt blocked by any houses and the closets house is far enough that you won't really hear people.
The house is fully stocked with everything you need, including towels, kitchen utensils, plates, cleaning supplies, etc. Only thing you'll really need is toiletries, clothes, and food. The closets store is like ~15-20 min away (Food lion) and Walmart is not even that far either. Throwing out trash was a concern at first (the instructions felt vague) but the drive to the dumpster was not even 10 minutes and easy to find (follow owners instructions and its on the right). The rooms were big enough and well equipped with sheets and pillows, even the basement. There is a pool table and games to play available. The house had many things.
The biggest con, if there is one, is the mattresses weren't the most comfortable but thats easy to deal with. Parking was also hard for non-mountain drivers (we were from Miami, FL. The flatest land possible, so we were a little afraid) but we were able to fit 3 cars with space for more.
The house was clean, spacious and would definitely stay here again if I had the option to. The owner responded to me if I need something, but there were not many reasons to message the owner if needed. I would highly recommend here!

We stayed here with 2 other couples and it was perfect. The house was very clean and was fully stocked (probably would say the best I've ever experienced). The trees looking out onto the mountains were selectivley pruned making for an amazing view. Communication regarding any questions were responded very quickly. We will definitely be back.

This cabin was everything we expected and more. Stunning views, clean, well stocked kitchen, cozy and comfortable. Our family had a great time, the pool table and basement area was a hit with our two granddaughters. The owner was very prompt with response and even followed-up to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

The cabin and location were amazing. We take an annual trip to the mountains with friends and have stayed in several cabins, this was one of the best equipped cabins we have stayed in. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including a crockpot. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious enough for our needs. The views from the deck were amazing, and we even saw some wild turkeys and deer in the woods on the property. As others have mentioned, the driveway is steep, but manageable unless there is a lot of snow and ice, in which case parking in the cul-de-sac at the end of the driveway is convenient and just a short walk down the drive. We received a foot of snow over the weekend we were there, requiring us to stay an extra night to allow crews time to plow the roads. The owner was very kind and understanding regarding our situation and allowed us to pay for the extra night at the last minute. The owner was very responsive to inquiries and easy to work with. I cannot recommend this place high enough. We all had a great time and would love to go back.

We stayed for a week in December. The photos of cabin are accurate. Beautiful views! Great amenities! Absolutely clean. Kitchen set up is great! We used the grill one time- worked well. Owner was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Good location as well- close to Boone and other towns. Good hiking in the area. We also went tubing at hawksnest, skiing at sugar mountain. Both fun! Also cycled the old railroad tracks in Todd- pretty. We were hoping for snow but plenty of nice hiking and other activities near the cabin. We had lovely weather. We enjoyed just hanging out on the wraparound porch enjoying the view.

This property didn’t disappoint. We went with family and had an amazing time. The view was stunning and the home very cozy with everything you could need for a great stay!! Highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed the cabin. Very clean and spacious. However, you might want to update the pictures of the views on the website. Trees have grown up and you really don't have that panoramic view as described.

Nice property with deer that come into the backyard! We were a group of 7 (4 adult sisters, 10y/o, 8y/o, 2y/o) and easily had places to separate kids to sleep. The views in some of the pictures are from a few years ago before some of the trees grew taller but you still have a very pretty view!

This home is comfortable and clean. It was very well stocked. The location is also good because you are in the mountains and yet less than 30 minutes away from stores which was very convenient. The parking is limited since it is up on a steep hill - it worked well for us since we only had 2 vehicles between us. The bathroom counter tops are on the smaller side so it does not leave much room for toiletries. However - the cleanliness was a huge plus.
