It was a very quaint cottage style home. Very clean and updated. Loved the sunroom…great for meditation! Perfect location to downtown Douglas…we walked to our restaurant the first night. Very close to Saugatuck…maybe five minute drive! Enjoyed our time in Saugatuck. Great place to stay and great host Renee!

This home is beautiful and has so much charm. The location is surrounded by nature, but just steps to downtown shops and restaurants. My family loved having time to cook in that fabulous kitchen and relax on the porch for morning coffee or out back in the evenings. It’s the perfect place to recharge. We hope to stay again. Thank you Renee!

The host provides everything you need to be comfortable: coffee, filters, a selection of tea, "in case you forgot" toiletries, wood for the fire pit, etc. The house is as lovely as the listing depicts, and you can walk to restaurants and shops. The bikes that appear in the photo are actually there to use. Saugatuck is a 10-minute ride away. Renee creates such a peaceful, relaxing environment - we didn't want to leave! I highly recommend staying here.

Where to begin…what a gem!! It is as even better in-person than the listing gives credit for. Perfect location, meticulously curated, thoughtful throughout. Even down to the welcome gift (bottle of wine and new hot wheel car for our toddler) It was our first time visiting Michigan’s western coast, but thanks in part to Renee, we will be back!

The cottage was exactly as pictured and described. Extremely well equipped and decorated, and very clean. The location is great to take advantage of both Douglas and Saugatuck. Douglas is just a few hundred feet and downtown Saugatuck was about a mile away. My wife and I walked and rode the nice bikes provided to Saugatuck. Would highly recommend this cottage for a nice couples getaway.

I stayed with two of my closest friends in this adorable house. The lovely host thought of absolutely everything. She offered several suggestions for places to go and things to see. The location was perfect! Just steps to downtown Douglas where we enjoyed breakfast, coffee, and lovely shops. We were a short car ride from a quaint lavender farm, winery, Crane’s bakery and the most amazing breakfast at Pennyroyal. We loved the shops of downtown Saugatuck and will be sure to reserve this cottage for any future trips we make to this area.

My three adult daughters and I stayed at the Postcard Cottage for three nights last week. Renee is an excellent host, communicative and generous. She thought of so many details to make our stay wonderful- from bananas, snacks and bottles of water in the fridge, towels, beach chairs and lists of local restaurants and activities. We slept very well and I found lots of ideas on how to make our own home more welcoming. We will definitely reserve this cottage again when we travel to Douglas.
