About this apartment rental
Elegant and charming jewel-box apartment on the Upper East Side (prime UES) with mural walls and chandeliers in every room - published in Architectural Digest for its high design in a small space (450sf) Despite the size, apartment is very bright and cozy due large 8-foot windows on three exposures - East, South, and West. A stone's throw from Central Park (the beautiful 72nd Street entrance by the pond). On one of the prettiest streets on the upper east side - Breakfast at Tiffany was filmed on our block! Building was built in 1890's so very high ceilings with decorative mouldings. Beautiful mural in living room and coated silk wallpaper in bedroom. Gas stove and half fridge in stand-alone kitchen with two huge windows plus interior window onto living room - which has three huge windows. There is a new strong air conditioner in the living room which reaches most of the apartment. There is a fan available for the bedroom for summer if needed. Shower with tub in the bathroom. It's important to know that this is an older turn of the century building, and a "vintage apartment" - everything works perfectly but it's not a modern full-service high rise. It's got a patina - and that's part of its charm. It's a walk-up; two easy flights. No washer dryer in building but there is a laundry mat that picks up and delivers two blocks away - or you can use the Cleanly app for laundry and dry cleaning pickup and delivery, which makes your life super easy. Close to amazing sights, restaurants, museums, designer shopping, apple store, subways (6, Q), and the best part of Central Park. Zip straight down Lexington Avenue to get downtown. Gourmet supermarket, juice bar, coffee shops, drugstore, nail salons, elegant eateries all wirhin one block. The perfect little hideaway for one or a couple.

My husband and I stayed during the summer months for jobs in the city, and the apartment fit our needs perfectly! The host was extremely kind and helpful in resolving any questions or problems we ran into. The location is also great with access to the 6 and Q within a short walk, multiple grocery stores, and restaurants!

Pam’s place is remarkably decorated and has all amenities for a cozy long term stay. The location on Lexington is unbeatable. My boyfriend and I stayed here with our dog, and went to Central Park for daily dog walks. Can’t recommend the stay highly enough!!

I adored my month at this wonderful jewel in a fabulous neighborhood. Pam was attentive, provided support and recommendations and the flat was not only as described, but perfect. I'll return again ... and again! Thanks for a magical visit ;)

This beautiful, pre-war apartment is gorgeous and is curated with such love and care. It's got such an aesthetic, is bathed in sunlight at all hours of the day, and is in such a great location. Quick walk from multiple subway lines and the park and has amazing restaurants all around. We stayed for a whole month for our honeymoon and we're so sad to go. Pam is very communicative, especially for being out of the country (her son manages the transfer of keys). One may encounter issues with the building/unit just cause it is indeed old. There was an initial problem with the oven which Pam quickly had fixed and then a bit of a headache with a loose valve in the bathroom that caused a brief, contained flooding episode. Had to call the super to get it fixed asap but if one has their wits about them, it's definitely worth it. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Truly. This was a dream and we'd be happy to stay again. <3
