When we first arrived the inside of the house was pretty clean but there was a huge dead spider on the kitchen floor and the outdoor area was full of cob webs and overall really dirty on the ground and the pool was very dirty with pool toys still at the bottom. I had to sweep the area outside before we could walk out there barefoot. I guess I figure that since the home owner knew we were coming with ample notice, the residence should’ve been clean upon our arrival. They had the pool cleaned the following day at noon. Second, the listing states that there is a lanai. There is no lanai. There is a half screen partition by the outdoor table area, but no enclosed lanai. Lastly, when we arrived the lowest we could put the AC was 72. The master room barely got any AC and the master bathroom got no AC. It was a dreadful first night sleep. The homeowner stated she can turn the AC down for us from her Wi-Fi app, and the AC was set on a schedule so it kept changing and we could not get the temp to a comfortable temperature in the home during our stay. The power happened to go out while we were there from a storm and when the power came back on we only had half of the house with electricity and the other half had no power, including no Wi-Fi. We ended up leaving after 1 night stay out of 5 night. The homeowners were very attentive to our needs though. They responded to all of my messages and concerns promptly. They felt bad and refunded our money but it was a huge inconvenience.

This property is in a neighborhood but both sides are vacant lots. It is a beautiful clean home with a relaxing space for my sister, friends and I to enjoy our time away.
The rooms are spacious. The lanai is perfect! The spa and pool were amazing.
There were plenty of amenities to get us through the week.
Communication with the owner was top-notch. She always got back to me in a timely matter.
We will definitely book this property again when we come back to the area.

Jennifer has thought of everything to ensure that your stay is perfect and relaxing, without having to deal with "figuring things out." She has everything labeled, all the necessities already there - soaps, dish and laundry detergent, coffee, creamer, sugar... - everything you need so that if you arrive late, you're all set to start your day not needing a thing. All the remotes are universal and therefore very easy to use. They really thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We needed this break, and it was absolutely perfect. Thank you, Jennifer, so much, for a vacation we'll always remember and cherish!

We enjoyed our stay due to the clean, modern beachy decor, and very well equipped cottage. Spacious and well designed. Would love to visit again for longer!

Jeni sent clear directions for arrival. House was immaculate when we arrived. It was a perfect spot for our young boys who enjoyed the pool and took breaks to watch a show on the TV on the lanai and recharge, go fishing, or try to catch those small lizards running around. We had one raining day and found many things to do in Port Charlotte. Jeni responded quickly to my request to heat the pool to higher temperature so the boys even enjoyed swimming in the rain. Great place! We hope to be back!

We had a great stay.! The property is beautiful. You have everything you need. The place is immaculate, peaceful and tranquil so much that you never have to leave if you don’t want to. The weather was a little touch and go for us, but we spent most of our time on the lanai when it rained and out by the pool when the sun was out. The hot tub is on a timer so it isn’t accessible at your fingertips; however, Jeni is very accommodating and a text away. She responds immediately. Highly recommend the hot tub at night with the pool lights on and stars above. Just great.

The property was perfect for us. Jeni, the host had great communication and we loved the house. I didn't realize there was an extra charge for the pool/spa heater, but Jeni was able to turn it on quickly. It was nice to see a Christmas tree up for the holidays as well.

Clean, quiet, neighborhood. The house was clean and had a warm appeal. The host was also very accessible and easy to work with. My family enjoyed our brief stay and would book again in the future.
