Practical & Well located

extremelly well located in Ortigia island. our room was very quiet (backyard), large with a small bathroom that wouldn' mind a little refresh. Breakfast at the bar downstairs is good

Very transactional relationship - got the address & instructions - no help, no advice - inaccurate for breakfast time... It's perfect if you don't like chit chats but would hardly fall into the 'Bed & Breakfast category'

A pleasant stay, apart from the smell from the hand basin in the bathroom.

We loved the location and the breakfast.

The left side of the bed room 5 was too close to the window. There was a sewage smell from the basin in the bathroom and when you opened the draw.

Location and the receptionist.

Owner was slow or non responsive to questions. Owner sent us to a parking that was €34 over night whilst many surrounding car parks were only €15. Breakfast was provided in a bar downstairs so not really a breakfast (a savoury pastry and a coffee, or sweat pastry, coffee and juice). We were charged €4 for a very small glass of orange juice because having a cappuccino (rather than coffee) meant that juice is not included, we were advised. At best very confusing and underwhelming. We did not feel the owner cared about our experience - so very disappointing.

Aranella beach is amazing :))

In the end, the breakfast was excellent, although I find it strange that you can't choose pistachio if you don't like lemon or almond. The room is fine, we only stayed one night, so I can't talk in more detail. Aranella beach is amazing, it made our trip around Sicily even better. You need a car for that trip.

Communication with the host could have been better, either they don't answer the phone or they don't respond to e-mails or messages. It takes a little to make the guest feel safer and more beautiful.

Exceptional

Goog location near Piazza Archimede and the main landmarks of Ortigia. The hosts were very kind and helped us with the parking. The room was clean and had a big comfortable bed. Unfortunatelly, we had not enough time in Ortigia and stayed there just for a night.

Great room and location.

Great location and the room was very spacious

The stairs and no lift. We couldn’t pay with credit card , they wanted cash or bank transfer, we were only told this two days before we arrived. Maybe this needs to be stated on their advertising. Breakfast was a voucher for a croissant, cappuccino, and small bottle of juice at the cafe below . I had to pay for a cup of tea instead of coffee.

Great room, but better communication about check in needed….

Centrally located to explore Ortigia. Beautiful room.

The communication prior to our arrival was not ideal. I received several automated emails about check in, stating that I would receive information via WhatsApp. I did not receive information, nor had any contact with an actual person until 2 hours before our arrival. Everything worked out and the staff were friendly and helpful on site, but I would have preferred having contact with someone in advance.

Excellent and not expensive, but not automatic to get there, and to get inside.

The location was great, very central in Ortygia, the best part of town.

The main complexity is that the owners are not around and didn't turn up. We were able to contact them, thanks to the bar next door, and they told us nd the bartender where they had hidden the key. In the end it all worked, but it was not easy. Also, the parking is a headache because it's hard to find the different parking lots; we took an expensive one (e37) by the water on the west side of Ortygia. In the end it too worked.

Fabulous location, beautiful room overlooking the square

Breakfast was a bit mean. You eat at the restaurant below but the menu choices are pretty minimal - essentially a pastry with a cup of coffee, and orange juice
