We had a great time, the house was perfect. It had all the items we needed. House was clean and great location. We would definitely stay again!

We were very pleased with the accommodations--clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The kitchen had all of the necessary accessories, and more, to make for a wonderful stay.

The house was every bit as good as the reviews said. We had a group of 8 and found the house spacious, well-stocked and in good repair.
The house was particularly good for our group since there are two separate large common areas. We generally spent time upstairs, but when some of our group wanted to go to bed earlier, the others were able to head downstairs to play pool and continue socializing later into the night without bothering them.
Kevin, the owner was very communicative and quick to respond when we had questions. The check-in/check-out process was very easy as well. We would DEFINITELY stay again (and very likely will!).

This house was perfect for the size of our family ski trip. It had everything we needed as far as space and amenities. The host was very responsive to the questions we had.

The cabin is in a really convenient location to snowtubing and other activities! The amenities were a great fit our family from the hot tub to the high chair. Only improvement could be to replace the couch or to connect the sections as they move easily. Would book again!

We went with the intent to go for a weekend ski trip with friends! The weather was not in our favor so we enjoyed our time at the cabin together playing games and getting in the hot tub. They had all of the things needed for us to cook! The perfect game room area. The pool sticks need to be replaced but we made due! Would definitely recommend staying here!

The property suited our needs. Our multi generational family had plenty of room. The home was located very centrally to all activities in the resort.

We booked this property for the December graduation at JMU. The location is an easy 25 minute drive to JMU campus and had everything we needed for two sets of grandparents, parents of the grad, the graduate and 2 other young adults/teens. The young adults enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The kitchen was well equipped for our meals that we prepared and the bedroom situation worked out perfectly for both sets of grandparents to have a private bedroom/bathroom.
The parking was a little tough for 4 cars due to the steep driveway and needing to make sure the older generation could get in and out if the cars.
All in all, a great place to stay. The owner was responsive to a question that came up during our stay. We appreciated their prompt response and support.

We really enjoyed our stay! Met family there to attend the JMU football game. Gorgeous views from the deck.
One thing, the driveway is very steep and hard to back down especially at night. Lights are definitely needed.

This is our 6th year at the property, and it was great as always. Clean, great location, great amenities, and amazing layout for the family.

Our stay was great! We enjoyed the hot tub. It was very spacious. The blackstone grill was very nice. We had never used one before. The amount of bedrooms and bathrooms were exactly what we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with all the needed dishes, etc. We had a deer bedded right beside the house on Saturday morning and the grandchildren loved this. The only negative thing I have to say is that there wasn't enough hot water. I tried filling up the bathtub and it got cold before it was full. I would also like to mention that some of the items to bring/supplied was a little confusing because it said one thing on the booking and something different on the list for check in/out procedures. Might want to review these. One specifically is if towels were provided or not.

Perfect getaway cabin for a long weekend away from home. The house was spacious, bedrooms were nice sizes and we very much enjoyed the large kitchen table, since we spent several hours congregating there and playing games. Perfect views, too!! All in all, a great place to go for some R&R 😃

We had everything we needed for an enjoyable family reunion. The only problem for my family is that there are 3 levels and one of my sisters found that difficult (we are an older group) but that is something we knew. This is a great place for a family. We had 4 vehicles and that was a little tricky but we made it work.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin!
A/C works very well and kept the entire house cool.
Everything was clean upon our arrival.
All appliances worked fine, and we enjoyed streaming shows on the TV's. Internet is fast.
Saw some wild animals up in the woods while sitting on the back deck area near the jacuzzi.
Driveway is a bit steep, but we did fine parking 2 trucks and a car.

We loved the top deck with views of the ridge and woodpeckers and nuthatches flying around while we relaxed and ate. I especially enjoyed early breakfast on the deck with Orion, Jupiter and Venus in view and Whip-o-wills and Screech owls calling as the sky brightened into day. The 17 yr old thought the Blackstone grill was the greatest and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. Lots of good hiking and mountainbiking was done and we even fitted in an afternoon swim at the community pool. Very nice place for the six of us.

Really enjoyed the stay! Very nice home. The only two recommendations I would have are the upstairs got a bit warm and it would’ve been great to have had ceiling fans. The mattresses were somewhat lumpy. We would definitely come and stay here again!!

This was a great house to stay in. Great location, clean, good set up inside the house. Nice view from the deck and enough room for large families. Access to community pool was nice. The owner was very responsive.

We enjoyed all that the Massanutten resort had to offer. We played pickleball, used the pool, hiked, ziplined, and spent one evening at the water park. We also hit Squirrleys Ice Cream three times :).
The house is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We'd definitely stay there again.

Exactly what we needed for 10 persons. Not brand new, but nice enough with signs of wear. Clean, with lots of items to use available. Would rent again. Nice area with lots of things for adults and children to do.

This was the perfect house for our family. We had a wonderful week together. We had one small issue that needed taken care of and we reached out to the host. His response time was amazing. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The place was very nice only wish that it didn't rain the whole time

The house is in a nice resort area with amenities available just a two minute drive away. The house was clean and everything worked as advertised. No issues while we were there and the deer are very friendly!!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is large and people can cluster together or be separate in their own space. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and watching the local wildlife. The information about the house did not reflect the steepness of the driveway, either for walking or driving up. While this is the norm for the local properties, it could be problematic for some guests. Check out expectations were different in the online info vs. the binder located in the house (how to handle linens/towels). This should maybe be corrected so guests feel confident they are leaving the property just as the owner expects. Overall a wonderful weekend in a beautiful area.

Soon after checking in, 4 of us were sitting on the front deck. One of the chairs that a female from our group was sitting in collapsed and she fell. Upon further review it was discovered that the deck board was rotted and gave way. In looking further, it was noticed that several of the deck boards were rotting. The female was and still is sore from the fall. I notified the owner who did immediately send someone to repair the broken deck board. When we showed him other boards that were in the same condition, nothing was done. Kevin, the owner, said initially he hoped she was okay, but never followed up on her condition or offered her any refund for her stay. I sent a few texts to the owner after we left advising him of her soreness from the fall. I received no response back. His lack of concern for someone falling and getting hurt due to an unsafe condition at his house is amazing to me. I will not use this owner again!

We totally enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious, in a great location, and well stocked. There were a few items in need of repair (broken handle on microwave, a few broken blinds, etc) but nothing that put a damper on our vacation. Kevin was VERY responsive to a few questions we had. I would recommend this place!

Loved staying here for my Mom’s 70th. The house was lovely and the perfect size for our group. Definitely hoping to return for a longer trip to explore more!

The house is well-appointed, and we enjoyed it.
Listed below are recommendations:
Pool of water under downstairs table
2 of the 4 toaster slots do not work
Lighting in a few bedrooms is minimal
Grandson’s allergies kicked in. Then found dog hair on the back of cushions on the main room couch
Upstairs shower does not get hot

We rented this place for a weekend getaway for my entire family and it was perfect. Very well kept and accurate to the listing.

A great time was had by all. The home is lovely although a few minor repairs are needed, none of which stopped us from having a good trip.

The house was just as described and our group had such a good spring break getaway. We went hiking, mini golf and go carts at the resort. We cooked dinner each night at the house and used both the hot tub and pool table quite a bit. Kevin was very responsive and the house was just what we needed for a change of pace.
