The place needs a drastic remodel. Everything old and no breakfast or coffee at6-9:30. Considering it’s old it does not smell well and even comforter was old. Recognized pattern from 90’s

The tub in our room was amazing post marathon, beautiful and historic, didn't experience any paranormal activity. Didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant due to people “camping” at tables. I was to tired to wait any longer after waiting for 15 minutes but the staff was great and very apologetic.

I do not typically write negative reviews. But this one bears mention. I checked in and was escorted upstairs by a very nice man named Grumpy. When we arrived at my room,he opened the door and I learned it had no window. I have never heard of such thing. I was not happy. The room was also freezing cold requiring me to turn the system off completely for the night so that I wouldn’t freeze. There was no window to open, so that meant no ventilation. I unpacked showered and on my way out to dinner. I stopped at the desk and told him I was very unhappy. The room had no window and I had no idea that that was the case in advance. He assured me that it appears on their website, and in Expedia website. Since I did not rent the room using either of those two platforms, it was not in the description of my room, or I never would have taken it. He apologized, but they were full due to Floridians coming to Savannah to escape the hurricane. I came back late intentionally so that I could just go directly to sleep. I woke up early, thinking I would go down to breakfast I walked Down the hall in search of the stairway. It was only about 7:30 in the morning and an overcast day No lights in the hall. I walked to the end of the hall and back, unable to find the stairway. So I walked back slowly and found the door to the stairs locked with a sign reading that the first floor does not open until 10 AM. Early checkouts should just leave their key in the room so I exited out a side door. No food.

What a great, authentic experience. (Not to mention haunted!) The staff was really great and super helpful. The location can't be beat. Right near the action, but still far enough for peace and quiet.
Strongly recommend.

We have frequented the bar for years, this was our first stay and while we knew it was an old property, it could be maintained better.
Overall, it was a good experience.

I absolutely loved this historic inn! We love staying in old historic places, and this was perfect. Everyone was kind and helpful, the room was large, and the bed was very comfortable. We were only a few blocks from town and we're able to walk everywhere, which we enjoy doing. The only thing I would update would be to have black out curtains in our room. We were in the room that had an outdoor window looking out into the hallway, so the light came in and the curtains were lightly colored letting in a lot of light in the morning. We enjoyed drinks at the Tavern, but didn't get a chance to try the delicious looking food. We will just have to come back again!

I received two keys for my stay-one for the exterior door and one for the interior door. Our exterior door key did not work, BUT the interior door key unlocked BOTH doors. We alerted the manager who was grateful we did, but sometimes it took us ten minutes to get the exterior door to open. Other than that, everything was great.

Another great stay. We love the friendly staff and historic charm of each room, and the beds are always so comfortable and rooms clean. For a couple, this is the perfect inn and will always be our first choice on our kid-less trips!

Lovely room on 3rd floor! Nice period style
Furnishing and very comfy bed. Dining room was wonderful but make a reservation when you arrive. Needs a little dusting and a few more creature comforts like tissue box, extra waste basket, maybe 2 water bottles.
Location is excellent and in the heart of the historic district. Parking lot very tight but doable!

Staff, food, bar, history, location, all outstanding!! The only downfall was the bed in room 202. Every move caused the bed to CREAK! Incessantly!! It made enough noise to raise the dead of Savannah. It made more noise than the 4th of July fireworks outside. Will get another room if we return.

We stayed at the 17Hundred90 Inn and loved it! The location was perfect and the staff was wonderful. If you’re looking for a place that feels like Savannah, absolutely check them out. It feels like you’re stepping back in time when you walk in! We only used our car once this trip, it’s extremely walkable and so many exciting spots are a stones throw away. We will absolutely be back!
