Previously stayed here. But on bottom floor. This time we were placed on top floor. Did not care for the eery hallways, blinking lights outside on of the rooms and an elevator that looks like it's not reliable.
The room was average but the bathroom extremely small. You couldn't shut the door without stepping y'all the way inside to the back wall.
The shower was scary as there was nothing to hold onto.
We had adjoining room with my dad and his bathroom was the same. The AC was noisy, the beds semi-comfortable.
I know now to ask for handicap room so we could get showers safely.
Just to think of a bathroom for anyone. No real closet, but enough area to put clothes, suitcases, and shoes.

Thought it was unusually for a hotel that has handicap rooms not to have a handicap accessable ramp to get into the hotel.

There is no security at the side doors. They are always open.

Staff was great. We had a TV issue. The guy came right up super helpful!!!!

The bed was very comfortable!
I was concerned with many people hanging out in the parking lot at night.
Also, the doors to enter from the outside had no locking mechanism.

It was okay!

Recent 2 night stay for pleasure- Good breakfast- rooms were clean and comfortable. Convenient to interstate.

My room had ants and this was after I switched from the room that smelled like 10 dogs just slept for a week in there. Staff at the front desk was friendly, but unwilling to offer any suggestions or comp a room for having to put up with all the ants.

Your website says they are pet friendly but when you sign in it says NO PETs.
There was a big black bug on the floor and something else unidentifiable.
The breakfast is all carbs so if you need protein in your breakfast, choose another hotel.

We found mouse poop in our bed.

The toilet would not flush completely. We did not report until morning when we left. There were very few people staying there, but someone was right beside us with an alarm going off at 3 am and someone directly above us was loud. Great low price, but not worth the hassle.

Warm reception, good rooms, affordable price (especially with pet). Can’t ask for much more than that.

Very well appointed for the price! Doing a quick stop in Abingdon on the way to DC and did not want to spend a fortune. Was impressed by the cleanliness, updated rooms, and super friendly staff. Would stay here again!

Lovely, large room. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. We had a quick overnight but it was great.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel wasn’t great. Had to move rooms due to a noisy heater and musty room. The 2nd room was much better. My biggest surprise was we had to pay $10 for a crib. I’ve never had to pay for a hotel crib before but I needed a crib so I had to pay. I’ve stayed in worse but for the price I was expecting better. Giving 2 stars instead of 3 for being charged for the crib.

The lady at the front was helpful when I checked in. However, the room was a bit run down. The lampshades were bent and cracked. The sheer curtain was badly torn. The tub faucet leaked constantly. There were some stains on the ceiling. Also, with multiple unlocked entrances from the parking lot, it felt a little unsafe.

It was exactly what we were hoping for in a one night stay

I have stayed here three times recently and I will continue to return to this hotel. I am in the process of moving into the area. I stayed at a few different hotels before my first stay at the Clarion Pointe hotel. This hotel is by far the best affordable hotel in the area. Each time I stay here I have interactions with different staff members, and with our fail, everyone has been kind and helpful. The entire team is focused on customer service and they seem to enjoy being a part of this hotel's team. This is now my go-to hotel for the duration of my time moving and getting settled into the area.

Everything was great about this hotel except for the free breakfast was not kept stocked. We came down around 7:30-8am and everything was pretty much gone and they seemed like they weren’t going to refill anything. I asked for more creamer/ half and half for the coffee. The milk was gone for cereal, yogurt was gone, no fruit. Just a waffle or toast was available.

Only thing that was good about the hotel was it had big screen TV in the room. And the food wasn't at the par and didn't have a hot tub in the pool was closed and their tub wasn't deep enough to soak in. And the bed was uncomfortable and wore out

We were there for my son to take his dad to the race..where I have hurt my back I’m not able to do all that walking so I stayed around the room while they went. Would have been better with a better tv.The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and organized.. The water pressure in bathroom shower was unbelievable.. It had a message shower head that felt great. But the TV was another story. The carrier was in the middle of negotiating their contract, therefore you really didn’t have anything to watch. There wasn’t any of the free app like Freevee.. there were only about 3 app on the tv and 2 of them were in negotiations. But it was nice and quite. The area felt like it was safe..
