Beautiful hotel with excellent service. From check in to check out the staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Worth upgrading to The Level if you can. Would recommend and would stay again

This was a 4 night stay 3 adult females celebrating a 60th birthday. Overalll the stay was excellent only a few minor details did not equal the 5 star status. The staff were excellent. The food was good but in the restaurant no dishes were cleared as tables were vacated which was a little disappointing to be taken to a table surrounded by tables of dirty dishes and glasses for the whole of the meal. We opted for a more expensive package and were on the LEVEL tier which afforded a great snack and alcohol package. 3 of us shared effectively a suite with one king size and one pill down bed but all the provisions were for two- two glasses two cups two bath towels- we pointed it out on first day but every. Day was the same- I k ow it seems minor but it has a 5 star rating and it just wasn’t arttention to detail. Some other minor things- the level has its own pool area which is lovely but within that area there is a little part mapped out where you have to pay a further 10 euro per person per day for a bed in that area which is ridiculous. There is a lovely supply of loner lemon flavoured water but it wasn’t topped up - as I said minor but just a bit off putting. It was a lovely holiday venue though

It is a lovely hotel with great facilities for adults. The check-in was very good and lovely helpful staff. Our junior suite was a great size with a balcony overlooking the pool. We were staying half board and the food especially at breakfast was excellent. There was the opportunity to sit outside on the terrace which was very nice indeed as the views were amazing. The pool area was lovely and we managed to get sun loungers each morning. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely return or visit another Meliá hotel.

My first impression was a rude front desk person at check-in - don't they know this is what guests walk away with? She was asking for registration/reservation number from Hotels.com, something I have never encountered in all the years of using this site. Passport apparently was not enough, I had to download the email from Hotels.com and email it, and when my partner asked for the Wifi so he could look if he had what she wanted, she snapped for him to wait. Also, I don't know if rooms are assigned at check-in, but she gave us a room that was right next to the loading dock, so every day we were woken extra early from truck delivery noises, and the room faced onto the pool for privileged members that we could not use. The cleaner they used in the bathroom smelled just awful, and there is no vent in the bathroom to air out. Room was spacious but old. The view from the hotel is wonderful, since it sits at higher elevation and you overlook the city and water, but for the pretty high price we paid for the room, there were tons of other much nicer hotels in the area that looked newer. Save your money and go elsewhere. The one nice thing they did was leave a bottle of Brut in our room since I was celebrating my birthday, but too little too late.

Lovely hotel, with great view over Tenerife (if you get a room with a view). Staff are excellent, food is good.
Only negative really is it's on a hill. 10 minute walk downhill is on. But our obviously takes longer coming back the other way - especially after a day of walking etc. Other than that this place is lovely.

Property is very old and rooms are not modern. Service is very poor especially at the reception and house keeping. Everyday you get same food range. Very limited with vegetarian options. A lot of room for improvement

The staff are fabulous. All very friendly and can’t do enough to help you. Staying All Inclusive was fantastic value, the mini bar in the room was restocked daily for free- fabulous service. The food was excellent and the choice available was too! Highly recommend.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Meliá Jardines del Teide from August 3rd to August 10th, 2024. While we found many aspects of our stay enjoyable, particularly the high quality of the resort’s services, food, and general ambiance, we encountered several issues that significantly impacted our holiday experience. I am writing to bring these to your attention and to seek appropriate compensation for the inconveniences we faced.
On August 5th, 2024, we were disappointed to find that the main swimming pool was empty and unavailable for use. As guests who chose your resort partly because of its advertised pool facilities, this was quite upsetting. Although a bus service was provided to transport guests to the nearby beach, the bus arrived late, and by the time we got to the beach, it was already crowded. Additionally, we had to pay out of pocket for the beach umbrella and chairs, with no compensation or reimbursement offered by the resort. The inconvenience of not being able to use the main pool was further compounded by the fact that access to the other swimming pool at the resort was not granted either.
Moreover, we were surprised to find that there was no standard bus service running between the resort and the hotel. Considering the location and size of the resort, we believe that a shuttle service should be standard for all guests, particularly when facilities like the pool are unexpectedly unavailable. The absence of such a service made transportation unne

Great hotel, walking distance to beach and restaurants but not too close so it's very quiet.
Staff all very friendly and helpful.
Level experience was great, with snacks and drinks available all day and a more quiet swimming pool area

Loved the whole experience of staying at this hotel. Upgrading to the level, is definitely worth the extra, the staff in this area are fantastic and so professional.
The only down side of the stay was the evening meals, which in our opinion was poor, so would do bed and breakfast next time. Aside from this, a great stay.
