Located downtown right close to the guildhall, in a private shady, fresh and grassy park very well maintained. Restaurants & bars right there.
Quiet.
Rooms are older but clean.
Bedding confortable.
Accommodating late check ins.
Missed doing our bedroom after the first night but it was a mistake.
Will return, thank you!

Beautiful little motel. I have always loved the look of it and finally decided to stay. Did not disappoint. I was in the adjacent historic house which was sweet and quiet. Excellent water pressure.

This is a very old motel with a lovely grassy area that has a few tables and chairs. It's very nice.
The rooms are relatively clean but very dated and need remodeling. I stayed in the Cain House in a very small room, which was fine, but I could hear the otter and three guests in the rooms next door come and go at odd hours in the night, which woke me up.
The A/C units were very loud and turned on and off frequently through out the night.
If you're looking for an inexpensive motel, between $150-$180 nightly this is adequate wirhrestaurants on the main street close by.

When we arrived at the hotel we were notified that the whole city is under power outage! The front office lady said that she doesn’t know when electricity will come back and it doesn’t happened usually. The electricity came back on the hour 5 hours later and the worker at the gas station ( had generator) said that it happens all the time. You would think that the hotel will be better equipped maybe give flashlights to the guests. The whole city was shut down! No food, no ATM, nothing. Our friend who had the room next to ours, woke up @5:00am when his bed headboard fell down suddenly and woke him and us up! Not a great experience over all. They had a wonderful front lawn with tables and chairs but as we prepared to make breakfast, the sprinkles started to work and we had to leave the hotel to look for a different place to eat breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel is somewhat dated, but a good value value for the price in a very small town. I would encourage visitors to check out the brewpub!

This was a stop before Yosemite. We were looking for location convinience. We got it. This hotel is located on our way to Yosemite. It is a bit old and outdated. And FYI - this is a motel. Very small bathroom and shower. Price is reasonable. Free WiFi. Free coffe and tea in the morning and that’s about it!! Don’t expect any nice amenities. Basic motel.

Loved the Cain house! Felt so homey in its charming antique decor and included all the amenities you’d fine in a big chain resort. Loved how quiet it was. Most of all the staff (proprietor) was so helpful in many ways!

Love the history of the property. We stayed in the Cain House, which is part of the Silver Maple Inn. Each room is themed and very charming.
We noticed that our room had not been “cleaned” properly. We took pictures and brought them to the attention of the person at the front desk. We were staying for three nights and they refunded us two nights!! Roxanne was more than generous and made sure our stay there was a pleasant one. I highly recommend the Silver Maple Inn!!

Unfortunately the rooms smelled of Pinesol or a toxic cleaning agent that caused an allergic reaction forcing us to cancel our stay and go elsewhere for the night. They gladly refunded my money and understood our concerns for our health.
