The stay at Marazul was very good. The location is great for those who want easy access to the best beaches in Curaçao and a wonderful sunset, but it is a bit far (about an hour's drive) from the center.
The house is great, well equipped for preparing meals, but it already shows signs that it needs some maintenance.
My only complaint was about the woman in charge of cleaning, who simply walked in without knocking 30 minutes before check-out time and practically kicked us out.

It was a great place to stay. It is very close to all the northern beaches. There aren't many things around, but the areas in the resort are beautiful! The pool is great and the sea access is nice! The room is comfortable and it had all the necessary things for our stay.

Marazul is a great resort, beautiful and perfect location near the nicest beaches of the island.
We had the bungalow B (3bedrooms) and the partial sea view was really partial compare to all the others bungalow. One of the AC in the bedroom was very old and not working properly and the bed was broken.
Renee was great and always available and the bungalow is very well equiped ( i would recommand to buy a cutboard)

Nice, affordable, and well-kept gated resort. It was very quiet and relaxing. Plenty of parking.
Our favorite thing was jumping into ocean at the end of the day. It was very relaxing and not very crowded.

Nice place secluded from the busy East End. Close to great beaches with a car. Lost power a few times but it was resolved within 6 hours.

There's plenty of parking inside the gates of this townhouse/apartment complex. There is no front desk or any type of amenities or anything resort-like. There is an outdoor pool and grill area. I would not recommend arriving here after dark both because the area can feel desolate and your GPS may not locate the entrance accurately. Make sure you saved the email from the manager with the gate code and your unit number, and make sure you packed cash because they do not accept credit card even if you reserved here with credit card. There's no one to greet you on arrival, and there's no map of the property or any wayfinding signage on the grounds to help you find which unit is yours. The inside of the unit was clean but very bare bones with worn out couches. The strange thing is that the photos on expedia don't match the units. We chose something with two floors in the photos (bedroom clearly upstairs with couches downstairs) but ended up assigned a second floor unit with no bedroom (studio). This was corrected quickly when we located the manager and pointed out the discrepancy. It's quiet and peaceful, but you don't get a particularly safe feeling in this part of the island in general. The restaurants nearby aren't very good, and grocery stores are far (back near the airport). No cleaning of the unit while you're there. If you want to use the washing machine and hang dry your clothing, chase down the manager to purchase special washer tokens in advance. Wifi works. No TV.

Please be aware this is not resort or hotel but rather apartments of different size in unique and lovely place. There is no daily cleaning. Those used to US hotel standards will find only hand soap in the restroom. Second roll of toilette paper you will need to purchase (pennies but still..). If this is not a problem (which is our case), everything else is as in the definition of "paradise" - all appliances working, full kitchen with plates, pans, etc. and it all in good condition and working. Very friendly and straight forward people. We definitely love this place. We haven't tried to use shuttle or taxi because rented car to be able go around island, make shopping etc.

Wow, we loved this place. Very quite and the nearby beaches are beautiful. A view good restaurants just around the corner. Do need a car to get around. The unit was better than the pictures. Bed slept awesome and the kitchen had all the basics. Internet was not working well, but did not miss it.

I'm not sure if i got the most ran down room or if all are like that. The room did not once get cleaned in 4 days, the bed linen had holes in them when i got there, the one window had no cover, so everyone could see inside and it was bright at 6am. There was dust on every decoration thing and in every corner. On one morning, they decided to cut the palm tree right outside my window, no warning, nothing. I couldn't have a conversation or anything, it was so noisy. The guy who cut it, was super rude when i asked how long it will take him. The manager or any other person was never there at the office. The only thing what mattered for him was the payment.
Very unprofessionell

There is only one restaurant next door with minimal hours. Resort is quiet rooms need to be updated. If you are into scuba diving and quiet you will like it.

It is quite and decent accommodation, however, the issue is the manager does not understand or speak English so very difficult to communicate. Also, I had a not so good experience, my stay was US $337 so I gave her $340 and she somehow communicated that she would be returning $3 which is not significant but then never came back. Issue number two was that one night at around 1 AM we lost power to our cottage and the entire night we were without air conditioning and as our was very warm we could not sleep. When I complained in the morning she said that since we over used the electricity that was the reason it was sit down. They should have told this restriction on the first place

We rented 2 units for a week. The property was nicely landscaped and we met many friendly renters and owners there. The units were clean, nice layout, with beautiful views of the ocean. Rene the property manager was helpful and friendly. We could walk to several restaurants, our favourites being Sol Food (say hi to Sunshine) and the Cactus Cafe. I highly recommend this property, we are honestly looking to buy a unit.😀

Beautiful whole apartment with sea view! The decor is tasteful and the beds are amazing. We stayed at the Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort before and it's at least at comfy as that. The manager is responsive and friendly, whole in whole really enjoyed the stay here!

This was our 3rd time staying at Marazul. We have rented both 1-bedroom & 3-bedroom units. The accommodation is great value for money & comfortable, but it’s not a full on resort so just understand that this is self contained accommodation with an office manager on site should you need anything taken care of. Units are cleaned once a week by the maid & all had everything we needed for our stay. There is a basic washing machine on site that you can use with tokens.
Marazul is a great spot for a quiet vacation, whether you’re a diver or not. Although there isn’t a dive shop on site, there is one 5-minutes away if you want to rent any gear or tanks for shore diving. The pool at Marazul was lovely - warm & clean, & the stunningly beautiful ocean was accessible by stairs, only steps away from our door. The stairs take you down to the ocean & onto a pristine reef where you can dive, snorkel, or just swim. Our kids especially loved jumping from the low cliffs into the ocean.
The best, most beautiful beaches are closer to this end of the island, & the closest one is only 5-minutes away by car. There are some lovely local restaurants you can walk to, but be aware, this end of the island is quiet, so it’s best to buy your groceries when you first arrive - grocery stores are closer to the airport. Although it’s a bit of a drive to get to Willemstad, we went a few times for day trips to see the other end of the island. We would definitely recommend Marazul as a great place to stay.

This bungalow resort is purely amazing. It offers a row of very good equipped bungalows a cosy atmosphere. Some of them are first row and ocean view. So great to have breakfast there every morning. Rene the manager is very helpful with every issue we had. Thumbs up! Would book it again!

I enjoyed my stay at Maruzul, it is a nice place, by the sea, if your lucky you will see tuna at night jumping out of the water, one of my complaints were ants in the kitchen only if you leave raw food on the counter, otherwise they are absent.
I paid cash upon arrival to the manager, however had to leave early due to covid 19, so was owed 900$ for unused nights, I had to persist heavily and very strongly to get my money back, without going into more detail, i caution you to not pay cash to the manager but directly with the owners themselves. Other than the refund issue it really is a beautiful place and worth the drive to stay in westpunt curacao. Enjoy your stay should you go.

Awesome location. You can scuba or snorkel just off the property walls!! It’s awesome. Nice pool, plenty of lounge chairs. Very close to other amazing beaches. Unit very well equipped with toaster, blender, cooler, utensils etc. Inside of apartment unit immaculately clean. Sadly the upstairs balcony was rather dirty - glass table never cleaned, cushions all over and wet and dirty, tiles not swept.
