Location is very good. t
I didn't like the payment manner, because, we just could pay by credit card and it made us in trouble, until a gentleman helped us out.
another thing that we didn't like was the separated payment for breakfast for children above 12 year/old that wondered us and we had to pay 75 dollar per night for them! we had booked breakfast included room for 4 people but it wasn't free for our children!

Quick check in.
Fridge wasn’t working and resolved very quickly. Needed extra bedding for chaise lounge, arrived quickly.
The bed and the pillows in room 310 were not comfortable at all. Bed was lumpy due to a featherbed style thing and the pillows were plush looking but once you laid your head down they went flat. I slept horribly due to these issues.

Staff having thr audacity to contact me before the end of my already paid for stay.
Paid $900 to feel violated and unsafe. Disgusting. I will be sure to tell everyone to stay away from that location until the day I die

The staff was super rude. The advertisement of this reservation said it has breakfast included and I had to pay extra CAD170. When I showed the note and that in good faith the reservation said it was included the guy at the front desk was discourteous.

The staff were the most friendly and helpful. They were so wonderful. I loved that I had parking until 6 pm even though checkout was at noon. It meant I could finish sight seeing in the city without having to worry about what to do with my car. So convenient! Rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is literally right beside the Eaton Centre so everything we could possibly need was right at our finger tips.
The room doors slammed with a huge resounding bang every time you entered or left the room. They need to put something on them to make them close slower and without slamming.

Great location. Close to Eaton Center, Richmond Station restaurant (best in city)
With a huge selection of rooms they provided a room facing a homeless encampment. The encampment itself was not a problem but they had a dog that barked through the night and woke us up. The hotel could have chosen not to place people in the rooms facing the encampment.

clean, friendly staff, very professional and prompt when needed a few things.
overpriced for the room. paid $300 a night for just two double beds. felt cramped. no microwave, had everything else. I did like it there and will go back.

The location was excellent, it was very easy to get to the hotel. The room was vey big and the bed was vey comfortable, and I liked the little afternoon complimentary drinks.
The hotel was "almost" at everything, but the level of service and customer experience were not worth the price, and left a lot to be desired. As one example - we were celebrating our 20th anniversary, which I let the hotel know, but they did not bother to write it down anywhere, when we were not best pleased that the room was not ready for 4 people even though that is what we ordered (2 towels for example) and re-told them about the anniversary they again did nothing. And when eventually someone knocked on our room door at 9pm with a plate with 4 pieces of chocolate, they had our name misspelled!

La ubicación
La habitación es continua y se escuchaba todo lo que los huéspedes de la otra habitación hacían o escuchaban. No pude descansar para correr el maratón ni después de haberlo corrido. Para lo caro que es y no poder descansar no vale la pena.

I must say that the staff exceeded my expectations in every way. Regardless of the time of day, every member of the hotel’s team wore a warm smile, extended a friendly greeting, and engaged in delightful conversations. It was truly heartwarming to witness such a dedicated and experienced staff handling front-facing roles.
While my stay at Marriot Downtown CF Eaton Centre was filled with many positive experiences, there was one aspect that left room for improvement - the breakfast menu. As a long stay guests, I found the limited selection of breakfast items to be a bit monotonous, and I believe a few small changes could enhance the overall dining experience.
I understand that maintaining a consistent menu can be efficient, but offering a few rotating options could go a long way in ensuring that guests enjoy their meals throughout their stay.

It’s rare to encounter a team of professionals who consistently deliver exceptional service with such warmth and enthusiasm. The staff at Downtown Marriot CF Eaton Centre, truly make it a standout destination, and I look forward to returning to this remarkable establishment. Kudos to the entire team for setting a benchmark in hospitality. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable!
Overall, my time at the hotel was fantastic, but I believe a few adjustments to the breakfast menu would make it even more appealing to guests on extended stays. I hope the hotel management considers these suggestions to enhance the dining experience for future visitors.

As we only had an overnight stay we enjoyed the central location and a walk down to the Harbour. The reception and staff were excellent and helpful
No issues at all.

For an hotel downtown Toronto with a clientele of businessman, I found "cheap" not to offer free WI Fi !!! (They must need more money)

Lovely and spacious, staff very attentive
Swimming pool was more like a pond

The location was good-- a 20-minute walk from the harbor, CN Tower, and many other sights. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were quiet, and above all the staff was extremely friendly and courteous.
The hotels rooms themselves and the pool area seem pretty old. Our room, a king suite, was in sore need of a refresh. Lots of scratches and stains on the furniture and a lamp was broken. The pool area is also worn. At CAD 500-800 per night, you would expect a bit more attention to property upkeep.
4.5
Great staff, little touches to make guests more comfortable were much appreciated e.g. bottles of water when checking in, teatime treats in the lobby area.
Lovely breakfast buffet with extensive options for all.
Would definitely recommend as well as return.

Extremely helpful staff and excellent location
Amenities are getting old and very little complimentary items, especially water
4.5
The buffet breakfast and informative staff
Room needed more cleaning, several times the carpet even though vacuumed had items that stuck your foot. Also I expected more toiletries in the room beside soap, shampoo and conditioner. In other Marriott hotels more were given.
