Our room was not cleaned while we were out

Very clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great city views, close to everything, breakfast is great.
Checking in is a bit messy, if you have a car, everyone just had to park in the driveway before checking in and got a bit chaotic. You’ll also get a fair bit of street noise at night, as car enthusiasts seem to like using Caldwell St as a drag strip.

Our room was very clean.
The door to the room slammed hard, and there was someone from the kitchen who stood guard over the breakfast which was very uncomfortable. wasn't a good feeling.

I liked the coffee it was robust and rich.. I liked the bed it was comfortable and the view I was on the 15th floor so being able to see something outside of another building was nice
I didn't like the renovations it made it difficult to maneuver and also didn't like that the parking lot was being shared with another hotel and if u didn't park on the right side then u were at risk of being towed

Hotel is in an excellent location downtown, with easy parking. The room was very clean and spacious
I wasn't aware that the reception area was being rebuilt and was a construction site. This meant breakfast was served in boxes. It was a good breakfast despite the circumstances.

Showers
Work crews, floors being ripped up. Person who checked me in on 21st. Rude. Did not inform me you had to ask to have your room cleaned.

That I booked it while in Franklin, NC and that I had a room.
I booked this particular hotel because it was advertised as having a gym and fireplace. Upon I arrival, I was told to go up to the 5th floor of the parking garage and go straight across the lot, through the door and my room would be "right there." However, I parked on the 5th floor (my room was on the 5th floor), but I opened the door only to find that I was on the 4th floor of the hotel. I took the elevator up and got situated in the room. I then went down to the lobby to get dinner and I asked the bartender where the gym was and he said, "It was taken down yesterday." OK, no work out. Then I asked if there was a fire pit or fireplace and he pointed to the lobby. I went over with a glass of wine - no fire. I walked up to the front desk and the young lady told me that it didn't work.

the staff was attentive and courteous. my suite was spacious and clean
they shut off my water with out notice while I was getting ready for my wedding. That was very stressful. they did put me in another room to be able to shower but the mishap caused me to be late for my wedding and cause me to have an emotional break down.

Staff was nice
The room was very outdated for the price. The bathroom was very old, the chaulking was cracked everywhere, the water pressure was so strong at the sink, the ceiling was peeling and the shower was not draining fast enough in shower. I would have stayed at embassy suites if I knew it was across the street

The hotel is located in a good area, and it was clean for the most part
The carpet had a smell that aggravated my sinuses and breakfast was not included with my stay. I was informed I had to pay a $14 extra charge to eat breakfast.

I was late arriving (after midnight) but nevertheless the staff made sure I was warmly greeted and got what I needed for a comfortable nights rest. 5 star service.
The rate of $235 was a little much, considering I only ended up there as a last-minute booking because of an issue at my preferred accommodation. The room would have been vacant contributing zero revenue, so it could have been priced a little lower.

In honesty I would really appreciate my money back. This room was so outdated i felt like I was in a trashy motel. The tacky old wallpaper down to the popcorn paint on the walls was pealing and cracked. The carpet was old and stained. I found a dead BUG in my whirlpool and spots of black mold on the bathroom ceiling. I paid 310 for this room and expected that experience. Instead I was cheated out of my money.
Nothing. Not even the bed. I rather have stayed somewhere else.
