Location. That's it
No fridge, I booked a king suite thinking it had a pullout bed for my kids. Just an old hotel with minimal amenities capitalizing on the location. Spend away...

It was perfect location for the baseball game and a great downtown location.
Lots of outside traffic for the rooftop bar

Decor rather dated, but perfectly adequate; Beds were comfortable (if a bit small compared to European standards - but that’s a common thing sadly - my adult sons found it very cozy indeed); location fabulous - didn’t have to walk far to find loads of great dining options; and we LOOOOOOVED the roof top bar - beautiful place to watch the sun go down; ideal place to stay if in town to see a baseball game (or catch a concert) as the stadium is literally a stones throw away - or an awful place if you’re not interested in either (neither happened during our 3 night stay. We overlooked the ball park & watched them setting up for a Fri/Sat concert set: there’d have been no peace whatsoever during the concert or for the hour or so thereafter - not sure what that would have been like for a non-attendee trying to get an early night, but I’m guessing not brilliant). We weren’t inconvenienced at all by 43,000 people suddenly appearing on the door step, so it was perfect!!
The AC in the room stopped working - so our last night was incredibly uncomfortable (and the penultimate wasn’t brilliant either).

Location to the beach and walking to restaurants.
AC didn’t work. They charged my credit card twice while I was there along with multiple other guests. They had some issues this weekend.

all was great

The room was alright. It was overwhelmingly small compared to the photos, the tv was practically on the floor and the smallest tv I have seen ever in a hotel room. I couldn’t connect anything to the tv either and we could bearly see it from the bed. It also only had a few channels.
The staff were unbelievably rude. Frint desk were insanely unhelpful, short and rude with you. The phone in the room did not work so we could not call downstairs regarding anything. On the rooftop during the day three people asked for the basketball to be put on as the baseball was on and no one was in there watching it and for the entirety of the game staff kept telling people the remote was on its way but it never got changed. Do not recommend

It was ni ce and a decent location.
No fee breakfast, No mini fridge, No microwave. Best westerns have more value for your money at the end of the day.
2.0 / 5.0
Let's start with the positives. The hotel's location was indeed its strongest selling point. Situated in the heart of the city, it offered easy access to popular tourist spots, restaurants, and shopping areas. Whether you wanted to explore the local culture or indulge in culinary delights, everything was within walking distance. This aspect certainly made my stay more convenient and enjoyable.
when it came to the hotel itself, I couldn't help but notice that it paled in comparison to its competitors. In the same price range, there were other hotels offering superior services and facilities. Firstly, , I must express my disappointment with the initial arrival experience at the hotel. After a long and tiring journey, we were taken aback to find nobody at the reception desk to check us in. It turned out that the only receptionist available had decided to take a break, leaving us waiting for a staggering 40 minutes before they finally returned. This lack of professionalism was highly unprofessional and left a negative first impression.
To make matters worse, when we requested assistance to have our luggage taken to our room, we were informed that there was nobody available to fulfill this basic service. It was disheartening to carry our heavy bags ourselves, especially after the exhausting travel we had just endured. The absence of a dedicated staff member to assist with luggage was a significant letdown, especially considering the hotel's price range.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the hotel charges a steep $12 per day for Wi-Fi access. In today's world, where internet connectivity has become a necessity, it is disappointing to see such a high fee imposed for a service that is often complimentary in many other hotels, even within the same price range. This additional charge for Wi-Fi further contributed to the feeling that the hotel falls short in terms of value for money.

great location and the roof top bar has a beautiful view
bartenders weren’t the best at either restaurant, good service just don’t make the best drinks

room was clean, convenient location
Hotel really does not have "room service" as it says it does. You order on the app and then go downstairs to pick it up. If you can get them to deliver it to you, it comes in a bag and it's cold.

poor reception for TV, valet attendant with sour attitude, the iron has black ink or something on it ironed my white blouse ruined it called for another iron and it took over an hour and a half to get new iron after three phone calls for it, room was clean but needs updating TV in cabinet was old with poor reception and small seemed a little over priced for the quality of the room
