Quirky but decent road trip motel

So this is an odd little place set back off Hwy 148. You'd miss it if you don't have Google Maps. Can't imagine there are actually any condos connected with it. That said: reception was extremely helpful (we asked about nearby restaurants and the lady actually phoned our room after we checked in to say she had a few other ideas). Room was sort of industrial (tile floor, sink located outside bathroom) BUT: room was clean, bed was comfy. It ticked almost all our boxes: clean, safe, affordable. For a one night road trip hotel, would recommend.

Like ALL the hotels in this area, it is close to Hwy 148 and there is attendant road noise. Does seem to quiet down early enough to get a good night's sleep but starts up again in the morning. The area is highly commercial so there are garbage trucks with back up beepers going off to get you out of bed. Not a deal breaker but just be aware. And is a problem at all the hotels along the highway here.

The property was in very close proximity to where we were going. The room was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable.

loved the view of the St Lawrence River just behind us and the excellent Thai Restaurant on the property. also close to the Basilica.

Exceptional

The place was really clean and well-maintained. The staff are very pleasant too. It was really worth the money. It is close to everything you need, especially coffee! Tim Hortons is just right in front! If I'll come back to St. Anne I'd probably stay here again.

I'm not sure why but the other room was so noisy. We can hear them when they shut a cupboard and it woke me up every time they go in the shower. The faucet/pipes are really disturbing for me. But I still like the place.

Disappointing

Location was good to travel either into Quebec City or elsewhere. Good location to several excellent restaurants.

No coffee supplied after first day. No new wash cloths and towels supplied after first day. Beds were not made or linen changed during the 4 day stay. No slip prevention mat supplied for the ceramic tile floor until one was requested. Wash sink is located in the bedroom and not in the bathroom

Ok but not the best

The ac worked well and the beds were comfortable.The place was clean .

The tv was only french language. I reported that and was told there were English stations but no one was available to help us access them. (only 12 french language stations) Also the traffic on the road is much too fast and dangerous. When we were checking in someone was involved in a bike accident and lay on the highway.

next to river St Laurent. charm of a motel, easy check in and check out. large loft with a kitchen and a huge fridge.

A great spot with comfortable beds and close to everything.

The beds were so comfortable! We stayed in five hotels (some of them at 3x the price) over 5 days and had the best sleep at Chez Charley. It was lovely.

Clean, v. small room, okay for one short stopover.

Room was very clean and had most requirements...bedside lamps, fridge, microwave, coffee maker.

Shocked by how small it was. It was ice cold. They should regulate the temp of rooms while they are vacant. On a busy. highway

We will definitely come again.

Large and clean apartment, good wi-fi connection. Very comfortable for family of 4 and a dog. Excellent location, close to Mount Saint Anne, Quebec-City and parks. The restaurant in the motel was great too.
