clean, convenient, friendly staff, location
room needs a chair and (narrow) table.

All was well. Staff are well trained, friendly and very knowledgeable.
The service and location
3.0 / 5.0
Location was good. Rooms were small and basic, no pictures on walls, just fasteners on an unrepaired wall, no attempt to make the room look appealing. The bed was comfortable. It is the kind of hotel that is fine as someplace to sleep, but not to relax and read or have a drink. Good for CBD activities.
I think Booking.com should make it clearer that Seattle has a room tax and a sales tax, and the hotel requires a $100 damage deposit. That’s almost twice what I thought I would pay. I was looking for an affordable room for me and my friends, so I was embarrassed.

Its a century old property in the heart of Seattle.
Not like modern hotel, but comfortable stay.
Interior need to be upgraded

This location is wonderful
There was work being done in the halls at some point and it was a bit nerve-wracking.
5.0 / 5.0
Proximity to public transit, comfortable unit, decent cable tv offerings, helpful staff.
Multiple levels of stairs inside the property can be challenging for an ADA guest.

Cleaning never came to my room

Excellent location. Enjoyed wine happy hour on the mezzanine floor from 5-6. Nice way to get guests to mingle
Property is a bit dated but have tried to do the best with old building

The staff was prepared for a busy weekend and able to check people in early, which I appreciated!
Most hotels have little shops to buy toiletries and such, but this doesn’t. No ironing board in the room.
1.5 / 5.0
Staff was not helpful nor friendly. Room was incredibly small and hot even with the air on.
Location was good as close enough to Pike market
4.0 / 5.0
The location is fantastic - great value for that based on comparable costs if you're staying for an event downtown and have a budget limit. The room was cozy and overlooked the street, air worked great! Little details like complimentary bottled water & chocolates were very nice especially because I got in later than expected and everything was closed already. Bed was comfy and staff were all very professional and pleasant. If I'm ever headed to Seattle again, I'd stay again.
The toilet was very enclosed in a corner between the sink and gave little room for sitting and the TV remote really needed cleaning.

centrally located and very clean.
all good.

The staff was very friendly.
The room had a glass incense diffuser that was so strong, we had to set it outside the rooms door. It was used to cover the smell of the very musky room. Was going to open the window but it didn't look like it would open, but left it be once we noticed what appeared to be mold.

Extremely clean, very comfortable bed
Hotel double charged my card and the refund is taking days upon days to process.
4.5 / 5.0
The room was clean, simple but meets the basic requirements for an overnight stay.
There was no restaurant within the hotel.
3.5 / 5.0
The Lodge restaurant, the staff, and the location were all excellent.
The room was hot and stuffy with no way to cool it (no AC). While ok for an adult, the window set-up seemed dangerous, as the window opened fully to a straight drop-off to the concrete many stories below, no window screen or anything.

good location with a nice sports bar in the property

Exceptional staff always aiming to please. The room was beautiful and very clean. Loved the wine tasting and tea and coffee. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Very unhappy with the internet services in the bedroom. I was traveling with a teenager who wanted to watch movies online which we couldn't.

Centrally located & late check out!
The room was clearly a smoking space for decades.

Comfy bed and good location
Not very clean but the staff were very accommodating trying to sort out the rooms etc

Location was good and staff was helpful. Also appreciated the reasonable pet fee.
It was extremely hot in the room, a note indicated the cooling system only operates after May, and the window didn't open even a crack.

amazing and super dog friendly!

The location was pretty decent.
The bathroom was ridiculous. It overflowed, it smelled weird. The parking garage was down the street, the trolly was down a set of stairs and you had to carry everything out of the car in trips. There were homeless people everywhere. We called it the murder hotel. The staff was friendly, but we Will absolutely never stay here again!
