The breakfast selection was fantastic. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The front desk employee and the kitchen staff were so nice!!

The hotel was under renovation so there was some disturbance to be expected with renovations. I thought the price per room was a bit on the high side. Also would have liked to ensure I received credit with IHG for the stay, the front desk employee took my information but I have not heard anything yet.

Good location. The property appeared clean. Great breakfast selection for the complimentary meal. Front desk clerk gave a great recommendation for a place for dinner.

A small amount of mold in the shower. The decor was a little worn looking.

used “Booking” to reserve. staff notified me day prior to arrival that elevators were not functional. 4:20check in with Mackenzee, no mention of major 2nd floor construction at check in, or during call re:elevators. both side doors propped open, several workers, construction debris (large boxes, cords, ?A/C equipment, paint equipment) halfway down hall that we had to maneuver carrying our bags. Plastic on the floor ended at room 207 next to “ours” (205). we just drove 7 hours & decided to stay the night. talked to Mackenzee when left for Dinner around 5:20. she told me construction was mentioned on their website and a sign at front desk, she did not know if 3rd party sites were notified, nor thought to mention avoiding the one side entrance. her offer to us was to waive cancellation fee if we wanted to check out, no other offers to switch rooms or offer discount for inconvenience and deception. we decided to stay, wrong decision… 7:20pm we returned from dinner. there were construction workers in room 207, talking loudly, noises: thuds, scraping, shuffling and then sanding …. I called front desk at 8:55. we were trying to get some sleep before another long day. someone spoke to workers around 9:05. they stopped “sanding” around 9:16 but continued working until 9:44pm. by 10:00 the entire 2nd floor hallway was cleaned up, no evidence of construction. why did the hotel book these rooms? why were workers allowed to work so late with people trying to sleep- just crazy!! suggestions: be truthful, offer acceptable options, improve on hiring/training of staff, notify all 3rd party booking sites, follow safety regulations. this experience has altered my perception of HI Express, it most likely is due to the local management decisions but has a huge impact on the brand.

great place

room wasn’t serviced even after i said something. we stayed 3 night. pull out bed was dirty. remodel people took up the whole hallway (that violates fire codes) the pull out bed was dirty, shower was nasty

Love the room! Big nice comfortable clean

No elevators

The lady night manager was very professional and personable.

The room was huge. The bathroom had bars to hold onto, adjustable shower head and seat. Wide enough entrance for wheelchair. Bar in closet low enough to reach. Coffee maker etc on table seemed low enough to reach from wheelchair.

nice location right off the highway

Was not aware that the hotel pool was not in working order, which is one of the main reasons i booked this hotel. then also upon arrival we were told the oven was broken so there was not going to be hot breakfast.

Location was convenient.

Kitchen was out of service and no hot breakfast. Both ice machines were out of order so no ice. Bathroom sink drained very slowly. Construction was in progress.

Some of the decor was sketchy in places but they are working on it.

Didn't get breakfast. Such a sleepless night . In the morning when room was quiet I sleep.

Pool was closed, rented the hotel for my daughters birthday and pool was one of the reasons i chose the hotel. staff at check in were unfriendly. Hallway wreaked of pot and cigarette smoke. This is supposed to be smoke free facility and this is one of the reasons I chose this hotel.
