Clean and modern. Easy access to our room from the Lobby since we were on the 2nd floor of the 4 story building.
N/A. Thought that the environment was clean and the staff were polite and professional.

Location, property, staff, resort fee amenities, valet
The property/room is a little worn/old but that didn't really affect our enjoyment

リゾートホテルならではの雰囲気、ロケーション、設備は良かったです。
レストランの味は良いが、雰囲気が今一つでした。プールが小さい。

Oceanfront
Very rude staff including the manager. Disorganized system. Staff and manager is in dire need for customer service training.

Location
Room. Air conditioning noisy and unable to sleep. Shower valve near non-functional.

In a very rundown area of town
This is not a resort

Location was excellent on Hilo Bay! The complimentary valet parking was excellent, especially for Hawaii.
Some minor updating. Elevators seemed a little neglected.

We stayed only 1night but we had bad night.
The fire alarms kept on with fail alarm for over an hour so we like stayed up all night .
We had get up & run to the exit door many times at middle of the night.
But the next morning, the hotel staff didn't ask or stay anything about it ..
3.6
Super friendly staff; amenities for the resort fee (valet parking especially)
Dated and aging (frontage crumbling a bit, so upkeep seems a bit questionable)

Exelent view of the ocean and the fireworks for the 4th of July! Big, confortable room.
I had some little ants on the floor in the bathroom.
They charged me extra $100 as a garantee, even if i payed the staying on Booking in advance.
A lot of noise, smell from the barbeque during the party.
A lot of homeless at the nearby bus station and on the main street in front of the hotel.
3.6
Location
It was over priced for the quality & you had to use the valet packing as the non-valet parking was across the street.
3.6
Location, staff, amenities
Nobody came to take out the trash and I had to keep finding so
Someone to tell them to take out the trash!

The location was excellent! We did day trips to several sights.

The valet services were good.
The hotel was extremely dated. The room was dated and noisy! The front desk was not very polite. I was double-charged the resort fee (plus taxes) when I checked out, even though I prepaid them through Bookings.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Naniloa Hotel, a Doubletree by Hilton, and it was an amazing experience. The suite I stayed in had stunning views, and I loved the bath tub which made for a luxurious and relaxing soak.
The property itself was open and welcoming, with plenty of spaces to relax and take in the gorgeous scenery. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated the extra touches such as the warm cookies upon arrival.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Grand Naniloa Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay in Hilo. The stunning views, relaxing bath tub, and welcoming atmosphere make it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii. I look forward to returning in the future!
I wasn't able to control the AC in the room, and it was set at a temperature that was much too chilly for my liking. While I appreciated the comfort of the room, it would have been nice to have the option to adjust the temperature to my preference.

We had a beautiful view and very comfortable arrangements.
We were unable to have a late checkout, which would have helped a great deal due to our flight time and transportation (we were dependent upon another person for local transportation).
3.6
The lobby area and grassy side on the water..the room interior and room bathroom. The complimentary coffee in the lobby…the videos in the lobby. The vintage style photography art.
The breakfast was a little weak.
3.6
There was an insect like a small ant in the room shower room. I couldn't sleep because the air conditioner in the room was noisy

Nice hotel
Views of the hotel were nice
lively lobby bar
lots to see and do in the surrounding rea
the food in the lobby bar is basic
there was limited cleaning of the room( might be covid related)
there are not a lot of restaurants on walking distance

The view, free drinks, and location to beach
The hot water was very spotty. Noise levels from hotel entertainment because of our room location. Valet were very short staffed. We had dinner one night and it was the most expensive and worst tasting thing we ate.
