the view from the room
that there wasn’t a washer and dryer in the hotel room.

It was on the water. The resort was gorgeous and there were lots of things to do on the resort itself.
The cleaning staff was reliable. I had to call the desk to get the room cleaned and fresh towels. The breakfast which was buffet style wasn’t free. I spent $1300 for 3 nights I would think I would atleast get a bagel for free.

I didn't like that I had to wait till 4 to check in once I got there 1hr early and there were no breakfast served

The view was nice and the beach was easily accessible.
The bathroom was tiny you could barely open the door without having to hit the toilet not a lot of space or room to move around. The property was located next to an RV camping site and trailer park site you could hear the noise in the night coming from there direction. Someone had thrown up in one of the elevator and I called to report it so they could clean it up because anybody could step in it and the smell was bad . It took them a whole 24 hours to get it cleaned . I have included the picture of the elevator in my review.

I didn't have oceanfront view.

beach was not crowded and very close. Staff were very accommodating when making a request.
They gave us the key to a room that was already occupied. Did not get off to a good start.

It was close to the water and activities.
Some of the staff was not pleasant. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The room we were first given the AC didn't work right, no curtains in the living room and no phone in the room also the crib we reserved was not in the room. After they finally gave us a new room there was dog pee on the floor and the bathroom was dirty also no lights or lamp in the living room. The staff didn't even seem to care that we were not happy. The restaurant in the hotel was not good either food was awful felt like I was eating highschool cafeteria food. Will never stay there again!

Ocean front , beautiful views, great fishing pier.
Quiet beach area away from main strip-
(No homeless or crack heads wandering around!)
Comfortable and Clean rooms , very nice staff
A lot of construction next door , ( new water park, pools, renovation of other building/lobby-they say should be done by June) but work done while we were out for day and we knew about.
Unfortunately the Entrance to pier is a mess with construction, but once you’re on pier, all good.
Great little bait and snack shop, lots of fishing!

It’s beautiful and perfect
On the beach ocean view with balcony is perfect
I took two dogs. The play area for the dogs is fenced in.
Dogs could be on the beach and the restaurant on the pier let my dogs sit outside with me. Dogs can’t go on pier. It’s too dangerous. Lotta fishing with hooks everywhere! Not safe for them. I hung out on the pier with the fisherman and woman. Saw fish and sharks. Melvin the pier ambassador is amazing! Taught me how to fish. Told great stories. Cleaned fish for people. Hotel guests get to be on pier for free. Everyone else 3.00. It’s nice that way so it’s more private. Loved the parking garage. Feels safe. Hotel is renovated and new. Still doing construction. Adult pool open May 17. Looks gorgeous tho.
There was nothing I didn’t like! The property was kept clean at all times. Tom from maintenance was so helpful. Changed bags and put poop bags in dog pen. Grass was cut short so easy to clean. Noah at the service desk was so welcoming. Everyone was at the registration office. Two girls with long hair one brunette and one blonde. Exceptional service. Gave me water for me and my dogs for the trip.

We loved the room and the view was amazing!
The fact that half of the hotel was under renovation so we missed out on a lot.

Location is very good and easy access to the beach and the fishing pier, as well as most the areas restaurants and parks.
Booking.com and the hotel website didn’t mention at all that more than half of the property is under renovation, the remaining operational section is essentially next to a construction site. The facility in the room is old and malfunctioning all the time. During our stay my daughter was locked inside the bathroom for about an hour and the staff have to break the door to get her out. Very scary experience for her as the bathroom is very small and tight in air.

The only thing was okay was the included mini-golf.
I didn't like how the hotel looked. It's under remodel and that wasn't express when booking. The hotel looked awful. It was over priced and we only got partial ocean view. The other things that were included in the resort fee were not available other then mini-golf. The mini-golf area wasn't well taken care of either. On top of that they charge a $75 dollar fee for having pets that wasn't disclosed when you went to book the stay. This is not a place that I will stay at again. For one night I paid over $200 hundred dollars and it wasn't even worth it. This should have been more like $50 dollars for the night. There are better hotels for the cost. The pictures on here is not how the hotel looks like. If you are looking for a place to stay at, chose a different hotel.

We had an ocean view with a king bed. Despite the condition of the hotel, the location of the hotel was very convenient.
The condition of the hotel and grounds were beat up. We booked this through Priceline, thinking that it was a four star hotel. It was clearly not. Although the lobby was in good shape, the seating in the restaurant was completely worn through. The floors of the restaurant, showed tremendous where.
As far as our room was concerned… The plumbing above us, shuttered and ground with every usage. Our toilet leaked. The clock radio did not work. The fan in the bathroom made more noise than the adjacent airport. The hot water was not consistent nor manageable. The lighting on the balcony that led to our room was a bit scary according to my wife.

The guy running the front desk was professional
First off, we got a room and the toilet was clogged. They called someone to fix it and they never came. So we switched rooms. Then come to find out the next morning I go to take a shower and the shower halfway works. I pull the valve up and water was coming out the shower head and the faucet. Water was barely warm. You need binoculars to see the ocean. Even though it’s advertised as “ocean view” I will never stay here again. It was a rip off for $340 for one night.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. View was excellent. Accommodations for our dog was greatly appreciated.
maybe a skyway to the main lobby for a more direct route; also when we arrived, it was a bit confusing on where to go to enter main lobby. Better signage maybe?

Excellent Barr staff. Being at the pier was a major plus. The in house food was really good. I really did not have to leave the property.
Hard to find parking

The staff they were very kind and very helpful……. And the guy with the pigtails and the dreads that picks up laundry is amazing.
For the cost of the place it is not worth it. The Rams are not big enough and not clean to my standards. The polls more last of lazy rivers were very dirty cockroaches. I would not charge that much for that price. I appreciate my dogs getting to stay there, but I will never retire to

Location. It wasn’t overcrowded on the beach. Property has a lot to offer as far as pools and other amenities.
Needs some updating. Our carpet in the room had huge stains, the couch sunk when you sat on it, bathroom seem dated. Would expect better from Hilton and what you pay for the rooms.

location & nice staff
dirty, expensive for what it was, trash on the floors, smelly elevators. Also at 10:30 pm someone knocked our door, we didn’t answered, someone said ‘house keeping’ and opened the door with a key. We closed the door and said ‘no, tomorrow please’ and at the next day we asked in the lobby if there was house keeping at that hour (and we told the situation) and they said that house keeping is between 10 am to 6 pm. And you need to scheduled, so someone who weren’t ‘housekeeping’ had our room key and try to enter.

This is my third stay at Doubletree. Everyone is welcoming! Excellent Service for rooms and all amenities! The beds are like sleeping on a cloud!
Pools are clean and towels are available. Beach towels are also available. Was able to keep in touch with hotel staff by just texting what I needed. That was awesome!
The hotel is in close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Everyone I bring here absolutely loves it. Can't wait to book again!!

Oceanfront ,petfriendly, family resort. The location was great, view from our room was wonderful, my son loved the pools and Lazyriver. We loved how close it is to the pier and the free walking pass for it .The on site restaurant was really good and the prices wasn't that bad .
Only issue we had was with towels, we gave the cleaning lady 4 towels and she said she could only give us 2 back. We had 4 in our room .Eric said he would send us 2 more up but by the time I seen the text and replied yes thank you and the cleaning lady changed out 2 for me ,Jessica said thank you .We never got our towels. We had to find the cleaning lady everytime we all took a bath ,she was really nice every time we needed something .The bathroom was really small,in this room.

Location was good. Beach was great. Restaurant had decent food. That’s about it for this hotel.
They gave me the wrong room at first. It was supposed to be a handicap accessible room. I had to wait 2 hours for the room I ordered to be ready. Check in is at 4. Didn’t get my room until 6:30. Could not get room service even after requesting it 24 hours in advance. Had to request my bottled water each day and we still didn’t get it on some days. The comforter on the bed was FILTHY which I realized after the first night.
Returned to my room after being out for 8 hours to find no clean towels after requesting towels. Pools were a little dirty and the only available chairs to sit on in the shade had debris from the trees. Same debris for 5 days. Parking was scarce had to park on the street for 3 nights.

The only part of the hotel that I liked was the front lobby
The hotel is very outdated! Rooms were on the outside like a motel. I paid for partial ocean view but I also had a view of everybody else’s balcony. The rooms were dusty and the bathrooms had chipping paint and parts of the wall were water damaged.
Parking was a complete joke! I had to park on the street because the parking lot/deck was completely full each night. I will never stay here again! Terrible property!

The pier, and the lobby area
Everything else is old, dirty, bugs everywhere, pools disgusting
