Location and Pool

My family stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen and washer/dryer. Everything was as expected through reviews and photos. The space was clean and quiet, and the balcony was a lovely addition. The beds were very comfortable and we utilized both the kitchen and washer/dryer daily. We laid out on the lounge chairs downstairs by the dock to watch the sunset one night which was a great experience.
It is pricey (but then so is everything in Key West).

The pool is fabulous!

The location can't be beat! The pool, hot tub and observation deck were great.
Don't book a room in the G Building. The noise from the street starts at 4:30 AM and woke us up each morning. We've stayed at this property before in other buildings, and had an amazing experience.

Large room and shower. Close to ocean and Duval Street!
Could use curtains to block street and parking lot lighting.

The resort had nice amenities including a pool, a hot tub, and a bar. It was right on the boat dock with a nice view. Our first night there we were in a room and the guests upstairs were extremely loud, to the point where I couldn't sleep even with ear plugs. They moved us to a new room in the morning and after that is was great.
The first room was on the street with no view, a little smaller but still pretty big. There was an incredibly bright light right outside the window which the blinds did not block out lighting up the room at night. And of course the noise from the guests above was unbelievable.

nothing .. the fridge was leaking water a bit but we didn’t complain .. not an issue

great location, unit was spacious and clean.

We liked the resort and marina location which was close to the square and Duval St.
Also, the resort had 2 restaurant/bars to eat at with a big pool. Lastly, the resort grounds were maintained well.

Most staff wasn’t friendly and some things a little outdated in the room

Location is great.
To many stairs. Right on the street. You hear all the people.

Love the location, the view from the balcony
Resort tried to charge me extra. Some employees aren't the nicest, but others were awesome.

Room was 2 stories up snd on street away from resorts

Surprised the room had no balcony and felt like it was not even part of The Galleon. Door exited to the street. No way to view that on website when selecting room. Room had no drawers available for clothing storage.

Different room location with elevator access. The front desk clerk (Jeff) was very rude and did not help with accommodations. The manager was zero help while we were discussing the situation with the clerk. His excuse to us was that we used a cheap vendor (booking.com) that is why our unit was in a bad location. There wasn't and curtains on the windows to darken the room and the blinds had broken slats that let security light from parking lots on both sides of the bed. My wife is 73 and I am 75 we had to walk up 2 sets of stairs with luggage. We not offered staff to help after I notified them at the desk that my wife had a bad hip. There was a 1/4" of dusk all over a decorative plastic tree in the room, (could not have been cleaned for months)! On check out I asked for a manager to come up to the unit to verify my complaints but he was not available. I have pictures of all of the problems that I have reported. We stayed at the Galleon several years ago and had a wonderful experience, it certainly has gone down hill. NEVER AGAIN!

The location was great. The Tiki bar was great. Bartenders were friendly and talented.
Being above the golf cart rental can get a little noisy in the mornings.

location is great.
pool is nice, beach is nice for what space was available.
Pirates Cove was good
nice Tiki Bar
Everyone was very friendly.
could not adjust the temperature of the shower in the master bath
toilet seat in master bath was cracked causing a "pinching issue" on the butt. Ouch!

Size, comfort, clean.
Needs black out curtains.

Comfortable beds
Tiki bar to stay opened longer and serve food later

Our room was on the street which wasn’t the best spot ( noisy trash compactor early in the morning, and big trucks out on deliveries) other than that the room itself was spacious and clean! The resort is located in a perfect location! The tiki bar was a wonderful spot to sit and relax and watch the boats! Overall, I would 100% go back to this resort and I also suggest it for people to stay at.
The pool house bathroom needed to be cleaned more frequently.
