Nice place
Cool decor

Location was perfect – right off of Canal, removed from the business of French Quarter but close enough to walk to attractions.
We were offered an upgrade to the penthouse which seemed great at first, but the room was very poorly put together and felt eerie. All the desk seats and couch were stained so we never got to use the extra space. The TVs turned on by themselves at night from other guests who were trying to connect via AirPlay.

Great staff and location.

lobby, bar were nice and welcoming!! we sat in the lobby and chatted comfortably as did other guests. the room had no windows so zero outside noise which is a major bonus that close to a parade route!! great food options within a 2 block radius.

I loved the art & the free bikes! I stayed in the executive suite and had a great time!

The design, cleanliness, and staff were nice.
The first night my AC wasn't working properly. I mentioned it to the staff and it wasn't resolved. After raising the concern a second time after a long day I had to change rooms at 10pm.

Location good, staff nice, room comfortable enough and clean. I didn't get a chance to check out the fitness center, and I didn't have one of the fancier rooms with balcony and so on, but I liked my view. I felt happy there and would go again even though I didn't get truly wowed by special features. Something I did and do like, though, is that it's an individual place and doesn't have that mass-produced feeling of a chain. And the entryway and bar are pretty, and the outside architecture is great.
Free wifi kept cutting off and on, and there were some guests (family with noisy kids and a little chaos) who made noise in the halls for a little while late at night, but they stopped pretty soon.

Whether you’re driving through New Orleans like my family and I were, or looking for a chill place to get drinks, the International Hotel should be on your short list of options. From its (surprising) art gallery featuring original Banksey paintings/street/visual art to the cozy bar, this Hotel had more than we bargained for. If you like the look of the pictures, it’s even better in person. We had a great bartender who gave us a really interesting history lesson on the building and its place in New Orleans growth. I will definitely go back.
The cleaning products smelled really strongly. It was over 100 degrees when we were staying so we didn’t want to open the windows. The room was really clean though.

It is in a very convenient location near the French Quarter but within a quiet street. Room was comfy and clean. Bar at the lobby is great.

Loved the hotel the minute I walked in. The Decor and style of the hotel represented the culture of the city ! Beautifully designed! Complimentary drinks were amazing!!

The hotel is very convenient for the French Quarter and for catching street cars to other sights. In spite of this it our room was very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well cared for. It was good to have coffee available from early morning at the bar. We appreciated all the art work and especially the Banksy.
Our room was spacious and comfortable except because of the layout one side of the bed didn't have room for a bedside table and so there was no reading light at that side.

Great location and comfort
Air conditioning was too strong, we had to adjust the thermostat too often
They made an extra charge that was to be reimbursed and still not reimbursed

WAS NOT AWARE THAT THERE WAS ANY Breakfast so we went out . Loved the decorations in lobby for MadiGras
Room could have been warmer but we called to see if we could get some more blankets and was able to get.

the moment to check out
Beinig friendly is apparently not included in the price. The rooms dont get cleaned during Mardi Gras . Dont asked anybody at the reception for help they need to talk privatly on their mobiles ! The beds were full of hair ! The bedsheets were dirty. No new shampoo or soap in 5 Days ! Really I would never recommend this place to anybody I like.

The location was fine, but I was disappointed with the room. I paid a lot of money for a mediocre room at best. The bathrooms should not look better than the actual room.
The room was mediocre. I paid a lot of money for something that was heavily underwhelming.

Good location, within walking distance to many main attractions.
Room was pretty nice just maybe not as spacious as I expected.
Honestly things were just set off on the wrong note when we arrived and an employee was pretty rude to us and made us feel pretty unwelcome.
I also feel like I overpaid for the room considering the size and the fact that the tub stopper didn't work and I couldn't take a bath, one of the lamps in the room didn't work, and a couple other minor problems. It was a nice enough room, and pretty comfortable, just, I guess I had higher expectations based on how pricey my stay was.

loved the lobby bar and lounge area.
location was great though.
was expensive, no food service what so ever. coffee was horrible and rooms bit claustrophobic. for $550 a night was average.

The atmosphere was fantastic, we really enjoyed the music and bar. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and the Mardi Gras deco was great.
No place to buy beverages and no seating in rooms
