The spa tub
Right by a train crossing so they have to blow the horn everytime they cross, even in the middle of the night. Beds were eh as far as being comfortable.

A very nice budget hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owners are very helpful and friendly.
A 3 minute drive to Oakmont where you can find several bars and restuarants.
There is very little I dont like
Small parking lot
No restuarants in walking distance

Knowing that this motel offers smoking rooms, I was afraid that I might be able to smell them in our non-smoking room but there was no trace of cigarette smell at check-in or in the air and the linens of our room. The location is perfect for travelers on I-76. It was a comfortable place to stop for the night. I like that it is not a chain, but a modest, clean, well-run motel - just what was needed. It was better maintained than many of the big-name chains I've stayed with. The Western Pennsylvania Model Railroad Museum, is just 20-minutes up I-76, in Gibsonia, PA - well worth the visit if you happen to be in the area around the holidays.
My only complaint is a small one. The heating unit was a bit loud. But the sound was more white-noise than annoying and it didn't disturb my sleep. This is probably different for each room.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. There is a jacuzzi room available but I have not booked that room. The room are clean and great a a one or two night stay. Easy access to Pittsburgh and there are many restaurant options available in Oakmont. Oakmont is only a fewe minutes away.
There was really nothing I didn't like. The location is easy to get to . You do have to drive anywhere you want to go for dinner. There is nothing within walking distance. In 3 minutes you are in Oakmont so not a big concern

Pretty good location to Route 28.
Noisy for sleeping.:highway traffic, back lot noise and loud neighbors. Hard beds. Thin blankets.

The room was very clean, and the jacuzzi tub area was spotless. The front desk attendant was very kind and helpful. We only stayed one night, but we loved the room and the tub!
The only downside was the room was a little expensive for one night, but it was worth it!

🙁
Room had a very strong, stinging odor. I had to light candles and spray fabreeze. The jacuzzi was....ok....because it had one. Be prepared to pay cash for deposit. No atm. It was peaceful. Glad it wasn't packed. Directly next door to zone 28. Definitely more of a motel off a deserted highway than resort. Room wasn't, in MY OPINION, worth the price....but if you want a jacuzzi Room, you can't smoke in or have visitors, with 70's porno motif.... this is the place for you. #wrongturn #batesmotel
Just kidding....its not QUITE that bad.......
THIS IS JUST MY OPINION!!
IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT.......

it was very older style room but it was cute
i don’t like that I had to argue with the staff after my
stay, about NOT using soaps in the jacuzzi. he literally tried telling me that I used soaps when I didn’t. i didn’t think that was cool at all

The hotel was exactly as advertised, no surprises. It is close to food and convenience stores/ gas stations and major highways. It has a cool vintage feel for those who are of a certain age. Most hotels in the area are substandard and charge hundreds more per night. In my opinion, this is the best bed and shower in the area. If you want amenities, it's $200/ night more anywhere else near there.
I have a high tolerance for many things that may put other folks off. This is not a luxury accommodation and it sits off by itself near a popular bowling alley with loud music. However, I was not bothered by any of that. Just offering the info.

Its a nice, simple little motel with a good location only being about 10 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. It was our 3rd time staying here and have never had any issues. We're Steelers fans and stay here when going to a game.
The mattress was firmer than we were used to so we didn't get the best nights of sleep.
