Location & view & staff were great
Rooms were dated & worn along with pool /spa closed for repairs but was told under new management & they were planning on doing upgrades on property so look forward to seeing that

Center of town
The upgraded room was horrible! From the no dish washer, fireplace didn’t work and the glass rattled all the time, to the picture above the f.p. Was totally out of the frame to the bathroom door missing the pin in the middle hinge, the main door to the room slams shut and is loose on the hinges and also the inside door frame fell off when the door slammed shut, back of the bathroom door on the bottom,,,, well easer to say it needs replaced, also the bed mattress closest to the balcony something was broken inside of it. Then the ceiling has water damage over the other bed. The elevator on the left when arriving at the 5th floor would not open the door and it sounded like the motor just kept running! An upgrade was nice,,,,,,, “but” if you were looking for repeat business in the future that is not how you achieve it, whether your remodeling or not.

The hardware on the windows were broken and when we asked for a different room the same issue was in that room. The loft room is a ripoff! It felt claustrophobic due to the location of the window. When asked about switching out rooms because of both issues they wanted to charge $60 more. It was so uncomfortable we literally stayed less than 10 hours, didn’t shower or relax at all and left our trip early. Highly disappointed and felt deceived by the pictures and the explanation! Do not recommend!

The room was small, no ventilation, old stuff and the hot tub not working the pool had sharp objects on the bottom of the pool! I would never tell someone to stay at that place ever!

The location was good.
our door was off the hinges and we couldn't lock in when we left or stayed in. The window wouldn't close, and was cracked multiple places and no screens. Last but no least, moldy walls.

The location was nice for after the fireworks show. I liked not having to walk a long way.
There was no AC, so we were miserably hot the whole time. We ended up having to prop our hotel door open any time we were in the room to get a little relief from the heat in our room. Our shower was broken, so you couldn't choose a temperature. It was either burning hot or ice cold. One of our windows was broken, so you couldn't see through it for our partial ocean view. I paid extra for late checkout at 1pm, but our key cards auto locked us out of our room at 11am. I had to go back down stairs and wait in a long line to have them redo our cards so we could get our stuff from our room. Turns out that they knew that would happen and that we would get locked out, but didn't think it was necessary to tell us. One of 2 elevators was broken and the other one was extremely slow, so getting to our top floor room usually took us 10 minutes if waiting fir the elevator and 5 minutes on the elevator just to get to the 5th floor. The beds were old and extremely uncomfortable. The whole room was old and starting to fall apart. This hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I will never stay here again especially considering our room was almost $500 for a single night.

We have stayed here plenty of times and never had any issues. The location is perfect and generally we have a great stay.
Our toilet was broken. The front desk staff was absolutely rude about it telling me she did her part in sending maintenance (maintenance was not able to fix it) so our entire stay consisted of having to go from the 5th floor to the 1st to use the pool restrooms!!

We stayed 2 nights. Only one elevator worked and very slowly, and many people like us had many pieces of luggage. I had 2 room issues that weren’t taken care of until the next day, after 3 calls. Each time they said someone would be right up. The hotel phone didn’t work. When they came the next day, brought another phone and couldn’t get it to work. My coffee maker didn’t have a carafe or coffee cups. I called right away. Once someone brought up the same coffee maker, again with no carafe or coffee cups.

Did not get in due too the desk lady running something on my card a verification and it held my $$$ so no she should have just put the card through just like my bank said so she retracted the money back to my card and I did not get to stay at your hotel

Beachfront location, access to the Prom and many nearby shops and restaurants.
Slow and out of order elevators caused long delays waiting for access on it. Repairs had been ordered but not completed during my multi day visit.

Beachfront location with eateries & other shops close-by are great; onsite pool & spa are pleasant; room comfy. Parking onsite is important in crowded tourist town. ADA ramps helpful, including to Mo’s Restaurant next door.
Walls a bit thin—noise from adjacent rooms could bother light sleepers. I wish the tv had the guide feature working—hard to find out what’s on or when, but not a major problem.

Location is perfect. Mo's restaurant is very convenient.
Our room was not turned when we showed up. Previous guests trash all over, dirty towels, bed not made.Staff had to assign us another room. It was very inconvenient because we are traveling with 2 small children. The pool was "ice cold". We have 2 small children and were looking forward to playing in the pool, but it was so cold we couldnt even get in it. Other guests were complaining also. Everyone crammed into the hot tub. Which was not fun. Adults, kids, and teenagers all trying to get warm. Elevators are extremely slow which wouldnt be a problem except one wasnt working, and you had to push the down button to call for it. We would get in and go to the basement before being able to go up to the 5th floor. Nobody turned our room the second day we were there. They never knocked, or came by. Extremely displeased with our stay, and the amount of money we paid. We will not stay here again. There are places to stay close to here that are much nicer, and more affordable. The location isnt as important as the rest.

the location, and Susan at the front desk was very helpful I chose ocean view rooms and when I got there the third party I booked the room through didn’t get me the rooms I reserved , so Susan took it upon herself to help accommodate us by giving us partial ocean view rooms for the same price .
the beds were uncomfortable , the room was freezing cold the heater was not working like it should to heat up the room I ended up buying a little heater to heat the room because staff said there was nothing they could do but give us more blankets

Will never return! The window upstairs will not close so the room was freezing. The only half of the heater work. Every channel on the tv is fuzzy.

We liked the location of the hotel. It's right on the beach at the end of the promenade. Easy access to the beach and shops.
The room had a refrigerator, microwave, TV and WiFi. They have a restaurant but we didn't eat there so I cannot comment on it.
The night and morning front desk staff we had contact with were both extremely helpful, nice and professional.
The room I chose when making my reservation said it was a room with the ocean view, not what we got. The room was clean but is in need of major updates. The mattress was swayed and worn out. The carpet needs to be replaced/updated. The walls are extremely thin (meaning you can hear everything your neighbors are doing and saying).

Great location, most staff were pleasant, nice pool, comfortable bed, close proximity to shops, restaurants and beach.
Noisy neighbors on my second night stay. Called front desk to complain. They said they would notify them. Noise continued and I had to call front desk again and they said they came up and listened and heard no noise - probably because they went to wrong room! I told them again which room and they came up and knocked on that door for at least few minutes and people wouldn’t answer door. So they said they would call them. Not sure if they did or not. The noise continued until I finally fell asleep 2 hours later about 2:30 am. The man at front desk and the man that knocked on door were rude to me.

Jacuzzi closed, which was a huge draw for us booking here unfortunately. Steam room closed. Only one elevator working.

Location was great, its the reason we picked this hotel. The Staff were fantastic and friendly! Let us check in early which was great. When I called about a problem with our room, front desk lady huffed on the phone, but the nice maintenance man showed quickly and had a cheerful attitude. Everyone we did talk to face to face was friendly and helpful.
The facility is showing its age. Our room was rundown. One of the beds had a broken box spring, it kept falling off the base. The kids had to sleep on tilted bed. There were holes in the carpet, trim coming off the walls. Couldn't turn the temp down, room was pretty hot.
The toilet was clogged from the previous tenants, there was a soiled towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door also from previous folks.
The pool was cold, the hot tub was forgotten by staff after being "cleaned". There was creepy white stuff floating in the hot tub. It was ice cold and overflowing, flooding the pool area.
Staff attended to it and apologized fairly quickly.
The balcony felt unsteady, the noise from the air units on the roof below our room was very loud we couldnt hear the sound of the ocean. The staff was terrific, 5 stars, but the hotel Really is over priced for the quality of the facilities.

All of the staff with whom I had encounters were friendly, knowledgeable and satisfied my inquiry. The carpeting in my room was not from the 60s meaning it's not the original carpeting. The room had no scent of cigarette smell, which I appreciated. The towels were bright white and smelled clean. There were no bugs in the room.
The facility itself is in poor shape. The hallway to my room had only half of the lights working. Even in the lobby, there were bulbs out. The curtains were gross and from the 60s. They appeared to be water stained to me. I didn't look closely. The colors of the decor and the inside of the door: barf worthy. The freezer compartment in the little fridge was completely blocked with several inches of ice. The two chairs in the room: One was ripped quite a bit... the other one was so worn you could see the stuffins through the 'threads". The bed was very used and sagged in the middle. The bathroom appeared clean at first, but once in the shower, I noticed something old, brown and crusty on the shower wall. There was no water pressure in the shower. The toilet was hard to flush but it flushed. I suspect with the money lost from the covid plandemic, has swallowed up the entire maintenance, upkeep, and improvement budget. I paid $143 + tax per night. I'm certain this is their lowest rate, but it was way too much for what I got. OH, also: the 'free' body lotion that was in the bathroom, was only half full (if that much). I think it was someone's prior to me.
