Don’t stay here unless you absolutely have no other choice.

the location

Linens were old and worn out. I would guess the bedspread was 35 years old. The beds are worn out. The non-usable pool was used for storing items: room HVAC units, refrigerator, etc. The windows in the pool area were covered in bed sheets. The breakfast was not edible. The refrigerator had an old dirty washcloth sitting in it by the food. There was no fruit, yogurt or milk when we were there. There was a significant language barrier with the staff.

Superb

The bed was great. Front desk was very helpful and nice. Good breakfast.

There was an odor when you came in to the office like sewer. But the room smelled ok.

Nice and quiet clean. Not a fancy place but just fine!

The breakfast was just fine. Maybe a little more fruit would be good.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone in its current condition.

Great location in Sheldon, Iowa. Friendly, accommodating staff.

Towels and washcloths were dingy and stained. Cleanliness was questionable. WAYYY overpriced for what you get.

The check in was painless as well as the booking and accommodations. the gentleman was very kind .

Can’t complain except for the rate given that it’s Sheldon a small town there are several hotels

Did not stay because the 2 pet rooms, one was damaged and the other had been given just as i walked into the building.

Exceptional

One thing I appreciate in a hotel is a bath tube inside my room. And many towels available, even if I end up using only one every couple days.

Continental breakfast is something common in the US, but I'm really not a big fan of it, and I normally have to go out and look for something more healthy.

Wonderful stay !

Clean quiet and comfy beds. Also rooms are very spacious continental breakfast only so no eggs or meat, but plenty of everything else, waffles,cereal, fruit and yogurt.

Everything met my expectations!!

Enjoyable!

We didn't have breakfast at the motel but went to our reunion brunch. The staff was very pleasant and we were able to check in before 3, which was a great help. Thank you.

I didn't find much that I cared to have, but my cousin said the waffles were very good.

There wasn't much available for me. I try to stay away from carbs.

The staff could not have been any more accommodating! Our trip to Sheldon was for a funeral , a very sad occasion! We have quite a few family members in the area and we all met for a visit in the lobby and the manager offered to make us a pot of coffee! Didn’t ask us to hurry the visit or complain of our visit! I fear many places would! The housekeeping staff made sure our room was clean and we had everything we wanted to include extra coffee in our room! I would certainly stay there again and recommend the place to any travelers that want to feel at home!

Handicap rooms were not pet friendly.

I have stayed here many times. It's a no frills motel but it's quiet and clean. The owners are good people!

Never again will I stay again

Absolutely nothing

When I went to check in the lady at the front desk could not speak or understand what I was saying and did not understand how to check in a guest. She then called someone on a cell phone and I was I formed he was out buying bananas and would be back in 20-30 min. I wanted to leave but after working and being on the road for 17 hrs I was left with little choice. My room smelled like mildew. The tv shut off every 25 min. The shower would have varying temps from really hot to really cold while showering. This has been by far one of the worst places I've stayed. Oh and the breakfast was the absolute worse... the absolute worse part was I paid 85 bucks to stay there
