Small quite and great location. I always stay here when I visit Palm Springs. I'm looking forward to the next time.
Nothing.

The location was great for visiting Downtown Palm Springs. It was located near lots of bars and restaurants.
The bed was uncomfortable and the bed sheets had stains in them. The shower was extremely small and the restroom had dead bugs.

It’s dated, but it’s quite clean. It’s also nice to have a kitchen with a working four burner stove.
When I arrived, I was told that I needed to pay my hotel fee via Venmo, even though I had a credit card registered on Booking.com. I could pay it, but that meant I didn’t have any spending cash for the trip. I had to maneuver a couple of things so I wouldn’t get any overdraft fees from my bank. Also, make sure that you aim the showerhead away from the door, as it has a tendency to leak into the bathroom. That was the experience in my room.

We had a lovely welcome and the host was very helpful with recommending things to do. The room was very clean and we had lots of space. Parking was easy out front and it was close to some really nice hikes.

Location
The bed was not comfortable and the room needs updating. Kitchen was not usable, stove had a compact electric burner on top of it. TV didn't work well and bathroom was poorly designed. It wasn't horrible but below my standards.

Very quiet, clean with character. Great owner.

After having my reservations at a resort cancelled the week of my trip, I had to scramble for different accommodations. It's getting pretty hard these days to find affordable accommodations anywhere near downtown Palm Springs. I was pleased to find the Aloha Hotel. The owner and her son are exceptionally nice and very helpful. The facility was immaculate and the room, which had a mini kitchen, was very spacious. The pool area is lovely. The whole facility was safe and quiet at night, even though I was in walking distance to downtown. The whole facility is vintage 1970s motor inn and it reminded me, quite pleasantly, of places I stayed when I was a child.
If you're looking for fancy, this is not the place for you. But it's super clean and everything worked perfectly. That's way more important to me. And I saved a ton of $$, which I gladly spent on shopping and dining out.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The manager and staff were very gracious an helpful.
The property needs some TLC. Maybe that's in the works.

The staff was so personal, fun and helpful.
The throw back 50's feel and decor is very well done and fun to be around
Nothing really! But a toaster in the kitchen would have been an added asset.

Nice pool & pool area . Bed was comfy . Mona the host was so nice . Our room was very clean .
Decor is a bit dated but that seems to be the same with most motels in the US. I felt it was a little over priced.

wonderful (!) hosts with good tips and super nice communication.
the apartment was super clean and very spacious 🙏

Mona is wonderfully attentive. My room had plenty of room, was decorated nicely and had a "kitchenette" that was more like a kitchen. Would be great as a longer-term stay.

The room was very clean and had a separate kitchen and bathroom, the pool was very clean and we were the only ones in the pool area. Every thing was great and the management were super nice.
Every thing was good

The manager Mona was very accommodating. Close to stores and shops.
A little dated and needs some work outside like parking area but hopefully they get that done.

Great location! Free parking. Pool right outside door! Super comfortable bed!

The view of the Palm Springs Mountains and the sun. The pool was clean
No one should stay at this property. The room was dirty, shabby. The interior did not reflect the photos on their website. The ceiling light fixtures were filled with dead flies and other insects. In looking out the rear unit’s windows in the back of the building, there was piled up dirty lumber and trash. There was no fire extinguisher or an individual ceiling fire alarm; it had been removed. There was no phone in the room to reach the office if something was needed. The proprietor was seemingly not around. The manager requested to call her cell phone if something was needed. The security at this property was missing or was very questionably not around.
The kitchenette had a coffee maker but no coffee and the entire kitchen space sparsely detailed such as not even a pot to boil water or drinking glasses.
There were no wash clothes in the bathroom. The signage on the front of the hotel was dilapidated and hidden. I am hoping the sheets and towels were clean! Booking.com rated this property ‘very good’ which is not accurate

The owner Mona went way beyond expectations even offering a ride to a restaurant for a dinner

I have travelled a lot and I often think I have seen everything. Then along comes a cold slap in the face like the Aloha Hotel and I wake up to something new.
My room (#6, as the post-a-note indicated) was a mish-mash of Polynesian-meets- Desert decor: A Native American quilt and bamboo furniture. A last century Sony TV.
But attached to the room was a unique concept: half bath, half kitchen! A standard toilet and shower accompanied an angled, double sink, replete with drain strainers. A fridge supported a microwave topped by a Kermit the Frog-shaped coffee maker whose gaping mouth startled me each morning. And there was more! A variety of plates, dishes, utensils, a shrimp cocktail glass, even a rodent-shaped cat toy that lurked beneath the kitchen/bathroom sink. I could have hosted dinner for all my new friends in Palm Springs! This kitchen/bath (the French might call it "le bain-cuisine") is a concept worth exploring for both time management and space conservation. Keep an eye on the brewing coffee while brewing your own thing! Trim your toenails while warming some PopTarts! Scrub your veggies while you shower away wedgies. Here is a fresh slice of American ingenuity that Home Depot better jump on!
We didn't like the cement floor, the paint on the cement floor (around the bed but not under it), trying to get the antique cable converter to work, the filthy air conditioner, the wrinkled sheets, the Psycho/Scream-motif curtains (look closely), the total disregard for a Do Not Disturb door hanger, and the ditch in the parking area (mistaken at first for the San Andreas Fault.)
We were initially attracted to the Aloha Hotel by a kitschy brochure featuring an attractive young woman coquetishly modeling a 1950s style one-piece bathing suit in front of a brightly colored, freshly painted hotel. Many years later they both remain, believe it or not...she in Daisy Dukes, the hotel in disrepair. Time takes its toll.

I booked Aloha for Coachella Fest. It was exactly what I needed. The pool overlooks the mountains and was great for a swim before starting the day. The bus stop was right out the front with buses coming every 20 minutes so it was easy to get to the main streets of Palm Springs and my Coachella shuttle from the pick up location. Across the road from Aloha is a convenience store/bottle shop which was super convenient.
I loved the vintage vibe of Aloha. I stayed in the budget room and what some may feel is small, it was perfect. The furniture and decor was quirky and looked as though it had been collected over the years. Mona was so welcoming and gave me information on the buses, food places etc. She made me feel very welcome before I even arrived. As soon as I booked, she was already contacting me to see if I had any questions or needed help getting from the airport. I loved the personality of Aloha!
