We did the glamping there. Excellent facilities all round. Truly beautiful!
Nothing really. Would be nice to be able to order food at the pool- but not a deal breaker.
10.0
Easy going laid back vibe. All the amenities and supplies we needed.
Nothing - it was perfect.
9.0
Great location and brilliant staff.
The tent was well used and had holes in it.
5.0
The location is perfect for day trips into Yosemite and other parts of the Gold Country. There is a lot of outdoor activities all around the area.
We stayed as a guest in the tent area. The tents are very close together which leads to a lot of noise from other guests. The tents are supplied with a mattress and sleeping bags. This is not glamorous camping. It’s just basic tents. Basic sleeping bags. It was not obvious if tent bathrooms were cleaned in our two night stay. The shower left a permanent puddle that did not drain in the bathroom. I estimate that approximately 60 guests were sharing One bathhouse with 6 showers, 6 sinks, and 6 toilets. Needs a lot more attention to cleaning and sanitation.
4.0
Staff. Recreation room and game room provide different activities.
Location is not convenient. No restaurants choice nearby. Tub was dirty when we checked in. By cabin we didn’t realize most cabins are actually duplex (sharing walls with another unit). Bad soundproofing so you can clearly hear neighbor talking.

A really comfortable and very complete lodge in the middle of nature of Yosemite.

Beautiful location, brilliant staff. Just perfect for a base to explore Yosemite!

I liked this property. It had some lovely touches. Lovely fireplace under the stars. Free s’mores! It would be a great place to stay with kids as there are a lot of activities.
Probably a good place to stay with kids! Lots of activities - like a good summer resort. I think summer with the pool open, etc would be awesome.

Everything. Especially the s’more’s
The fact that the jaccuzzi was not working.

Quite charming place, but a lot of dead trees in the surroundings.
The swimming pool with a cocktail bar and an all you can eat barbecue in the evening was nice.
Very expensive, super small family tent. They don't even provide sheets for the mattresses. We didn't bring sheets in our luggage as we came from Europe.
The entrance of the Yosemite Park is 1hour away.

Loved the location: not in Yosemite but just outside. Kids and us loved the pool side buffet option in the evening very relaxed. We had a great cabin and great view. Not going to say which one in case we go back!! But thank you to staff for organising that
Breakfast was a bit of a challenge. We were a party of 12, and some of the staff were not flexible about us sitting together

- the staff were friendly
- the location was great
- the rooms are much smaller than the advertised photos
- we stayed in 2 vintage cabins and it was dirty and very tired looking
dinner is expensive!

The place is amazing! Location is great to reach the Yosemite park by car. Nice pool, tavern, sunset place, nice activities (we did the beer tasting). Definitely recommended!

Room was very quiet and secluded. Staff were very helpful. Balcony on room was lovely to sit on as it was so quiet.
The location was very isolated, although close to the entrance to the park. It was more suitable to families with children than to couples.

Very nice staff, great location in the middle of nature, pool was wonderful. The great experience comes at a relatively steep price, in Europe (e.g. Austria) you get the same and more for considerably less money.
The possibility for breakfast in a 500$/night cabin is poor.

Swimming pool with an amazing view.
Friendly helpful Reception.
Friendly bar.

The location is great- very close to Yosemite park entrance. The pool was beautiful and very clean, plus we loved that it was a saline pool instead of chlorine. The common areas were comfortable and helped to make the glamping experience more enjoyable. It was nice to chill out in an air-conditioned game room while the weather was very hot.
The food in the restaurant was very over-priced and mediocre. Not worth it at all. The food in the general store was also very over priced.

the prices especially in the restaurant and shop are really high!

Lovely location with lots on offer, we really enjoyed the sunset deck and making our own s’mores. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
The cabin we had felt a little dated and could’ve been brighter. The hot tub was out of order when we were there which was a shame. Lots of the outside games weren’t maintained or ready to use, probably because of the season. The restaurant also felt quite dated and there was a bit of a wait for food, although the staff were lovely.

The place is very close to one of the gates to Yosemite national park. Yet it is located in its own secluded location surrounded by pine forests. The guest cabin is nicely decorated and has a lot of privacy. The staff is super friendly. Although the lodge is far away from the main road, it has a convenience store where you can buy most of life's necessities. The restaurant/bar is cozy and rustic. I enjoyed every meal we had there. There is a community center, swimming pool, and jacuzzi, I loved the salads and kids' menu even though I am an adult. I was snowed in for a couple of days but I had plenty of hiking along the main roads to highway 120 in one direction and a highway to Hetch Hethcy Lake in the other. Furthermore, the cabin rate is highly reasonable. All in all, a wonderful experience.. I found this place through chatgpt who analyzed all nearby hotels and lodges and then put this place as the number one choice in terms of service and expense. Initially, I thought chatgpt was probably wrong about it given its secluded location but the facts proved he is right and really knows what he is talking about.
What I am going to say is not really something I dislike but I think you should know: (1) there is no writing desk for me to work in the room (I know this place is supposed to be a place away from work), and (2) there is no cellphone signal (I know I am supposed to stay away from phones). Nevertheless, the wifi is everywhere and very good. Also, let me tell you a secret: if you drive towards Hetch Hetchy Lake for 5 minutes before reaching the gate, there are some cellphone signals to send messages and make calls.

The drive at night to the lodge can be intimidating.

Our stay at Evergreen over Christmas was amazing! The staff and servers were friendly, the food and drinks at the restaurant and tavern were consistently good and the lodgings were rustic and comfortable. We were also upgraded to a bigger room when we arrived free of charge. The site itself was lovely with a nature trail to do, a pool and hot tub, and it is only a 20mins drive outside Yosemite National park. We were lucky enough to win 2 free nights in the Christmas raffle, and being from Australia the front desk staff went out of their way to let us use the voucher straight away while we were still in the USA.
