so quaint, charming, and beautiful! the property is serene and so much wildlife coming through.

There is nothing to not like about the Haven Point Inn. The host and owner Judith is the sweetest ever. Very accommodating and flexible! It feels like you’re at home.

The owner was extremely knowledgeable about the local culture. She was also very helpful in her restaurant recommendations. The garden view is wonderful, with the plantings and the care that is given to the whole backyard.
The only issue is that the property appears to be (frankly) in need of exterior refurbishment. The vegetation needs to pruned, (especially the roses out front) the vines need to be removed from the 2nd story balcony roof line in front, the tree adjacent to the driveway needs to be pruned, (located where you drive your car back to the cottage) and the walkway/driveway needs to be weeded. This will add greatly to the "look of care" taken for the remainder of the property. Also, a word to the wise about the gift shop, far too many choices in earrings displayed. (perhaps trays would be preferable. Also, the earrings would sell more quickly if they were priced at $10-15.00 each, 2 for $20.00.

This inn is set in a quiet location, with a delicious breakfast (have the quiche Lorraine!) Our room was meticulously clean, and the bed comfortable. The hostess, Judith, was lovely and attentive.

Cozy Inn, great host, great food nearby
4.7
beautiful location and quiet
the gravel in driveway little tough to roll luggage, but then there is grass further towards the rooms

Gracious host, beautiful garden and outdoor space, delicious breakfast.
Wifi did not work properly.
Location was further from the beach area than we thought.
Amenities such as beach chairs or paddle board rentals were not made available either by the place or easily purchased in town.
Available bikes were rickety.

Location was wonderful, quiet and shady, room was breezy and cool. Best small in we’ve tried, like new!
Parking was tight but the street is very quiet so backing out was ok.

Breakfast was a delight everyday, with several choices and a beautiful room overlooking the gardens. The bicycling trip to the nearby beach was a treat every evening. The Fisherman's Wharf food on the water was great, as was the Java Coffee in town. Don't forget to visit the Eastern Shores Nature Reserve.

Beautiful garden with bright flowers, very nice rooms as well.
nothing! it was beautiful

Comfortable room. Similar to hotel from any major modern chain. Shampoo and soap provided only. Nice location. Breakfast was adequate. Coffee available but in next room not where breakfast is served and only at breakfast which is 8:30am or 1 hour before. Served in paper cups. Garden is a large vegetable garden with a few chairs. There's also a sofa to sit on by a small fountain in between rooms and owners home. Bicycle use is nice. It's flat everywhere. Very clean. Inn is also an art gallery. Judith is very knowledgeable of the area and advised us on what was open during our stay.
Nothing special if you're looking for more than a hotel room. Breakfast was ok. It's prepared in house next door and even during our summer visit it wasn't hot when served unless you order one of the items cooked in small dish straight from oven. Jelly kept on tables but we didn't get served anything with toast on our breakfast.

Judith was an excellent host filled with friendly advice for all our undertakings. Breakfast was hot and delish. Our room was clean and comfy. Peddle bikes were fun. The art gallery was amazing. The grounds were overflowing with flowers, shrubs and trees with hundreds of pretty friendly birds

The stay at Haven Point Inn was not only very comfortable, but interacting with the hosts made the visit to the area so much more worthwhile. From the time I made the reservation, I knew we were in good hands with Judith. She gave me tips regarding the must-do's in Rock Hall and urged me to make reservations at a fine dining place and a cruise on the Bay, both of which get booked up in advance. When we arrived, and everyday at breakfast time, Judith spent time providing all the guests with information about other attractions in the area.
The Inn itself is very comfortable. and breakfast was superb. The breakfast space looks out into the beautiful backyard gardens, As a gardening enthusiast myself, I walked in the garden a few times. The roses were spectacular in bloom. I chatted with her husband Paul about gardening, and we shared information about plants that the deer don't eat! Paul said I could take some chocolate mint that was growing in their yard. Not only that, he even planted some in a small pot, which Judith gave us when we departed. What a lovely surprise it was, and a wonderful reminder of the kindness of our hosts. We will surely be back.
If you like the personal touch of a Bed and Breakfast, and enjoy interactions with the host (as opposed to formal service in a hotel or resort), you will enjoy Haven Point Inn immensely.
Nothing, really.

Breakfast was good and hot. Room was clean and quiet. View of backyard and garden was very nice. Weather didn't permit, but the garden area looked like a great place to sit and enjoy an adult beverage.
Would not upset me if a piece of pastry was included for my "sweet tooth." Initial cup of water for tea was lukewarm.

A few too many spider webs/spiders, but that’s just me.
