Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen!
Klimaanlage extrem laut, man meinte ein Güterzug fährt durchs Zimmer!

I’m not a review writer, but I read all the reviews before I book a hotel so why not share?!?! We stayed in a room with a king size bed on the 8th floor . It was clean , the bed was comfy, it was spacious (enough for 3 days) and super cool .. had a “vibe”. Like any city , you will hear the sirens of police/ambulance in the middle of the night but as a light sleeper it truly wasn’t bad.
There is a coffee shop with baked goods and breakfast attached to the hotel with an entrance from the lobby. There’s also a resturant. Sadly, we did not try the restaurant but the coffee at coffee shop was great !
This hotel also has a rooftop bar and on Fridays and Saturdays it gets busy and fun with great music.
The location depending on what you want to do was perfect for us. It’s walking distance to many things but not the “nightlife” streets .
We road bikes everywhere . We used the Lyft app to rent bikes (capital bikes)to get around the city. Those were SUPER easy to use! There’s a docking station about a 3 min walk from the Eaton. Hope this helped !

Cannot book the spa, cannot book directly with the hotel, the app they asked me to use doesn’t work with foreign credit card

Artsy vibe. Fun curation of records in our room. Staff eager to help with valet parking, ice and swapping records. Lots of scooters and bikes out front to head into the capitol area with ease.

It was very well kept, on trend, and the staff were very nice.
Its hard to find something to dislike but if i had to say anything it would probably be the fact that you can only get to the rooftop from the same entrance that guests use, so it’s hard to get to your room if you come back later at night.

I usually don't eat breakfast but I do like the convenience and offerings of the place.
Found a big cockroach in room. Otherwise things were very good.

Nice location
Rooftop bar was pretty lame. Records in the rooms were blah.

We loved the style of the property and the staff was pleasant. The location was also good
I love the idea of the set rooms and paid more than I normally would for this room as part of my daughters graduation gift as she loves art. They originally placed us in an art room with only blank canvas and no art supplies. I thought maybe the point was for us to create our own art, an idea I knew my daughter would still love but when I called to ask they confirmed that this was ‘no longer allowed’. When I asked if we could get an art room with art in it I was told that I would be called back and after 30 mins waiting for that call we decided to stop sitting around and go out and enjoy our vacation and then ask for an update at the end of the day. When we returned there was no update and we had to ask again. They did eventually move us after I talked to 3 people and the new room had a disappointing shower but did contain the promised art. I was pretty frustrated to have to spend so much time working to get what the room was named after and was charged extra for.

Cosy and clean room. Folks at front desk were pleasant.
1) No kettle provided
2) No bottled water provided
3) Shower water took a long time to heat up
4) Very noisy customers going to rooftop lounge during late evenings.

super cool hotel located near all the museums. front desk staffs were all very friendly and helpful.
The housekeeping staff came into the room without knocking and I had just finished my shower - it was before 10am. luckily the door was latched!
Theres a popular rooftop bar at the hotel and the access uses the same lift for hotel guests. it can get annoying when many bar patrons want to get on the same lift at the same time.

Eaton DC is a well-located, lovely-looking, charming place. I really liked the interiors and the entire ethos of the hotel. Room was spacious and well rounded. Lighting was on point and overall comfortable.
One of its coolest features is a record player in the room which didn't work at all. The shower is very strangely located so one ends up making a mess in the bathroom and it was simply impossible to lock the bathroom door. Whilst bed was made everyday, water glasses were not changed during my stay (5 days). No fridge in the room and the AC was considerably noisy. There's a fabulous bar in the ground floor however prices are high and they automatically charge a 22% tip. The self-service cafe in the ground floor is also nice however it's ridiculously expensive.

Staff was great and the room had everything it needed. Loved modern but colorful decor and having vinyl & interesting books in the room. Was walkable to all the sights (if you are a walker) and close to a metro stop.
We weren't able to get full meals in the restaurants at the times we wanted them (sometimes close, sometimes full), but the food we had was good.
