Breakfast was lovely; we could be served on the porch overlooking the street. Our host was very helpful. Parking was available. The place was very quiet.
No improvements needed.

They tried to add on a charge for the credit card fees they incur claiming that “all vendors do this”. Also no flexibility in terms of when breakfast is served. The pictures on booking are much nicer than the place is in reality. Would not stay hear again.

Very nicely decorated, very clean and quiet. the host was very nice. We had a delicious breakfast. The location is very good for walking to many shops and restaurants.
4.3
Lovely room in a very pleasant house. Our hosts were helpful, flexible, and informative. Would stay there again. Nice breakfast.
Liked it all!

Wonderful breakfast.

My host was great and I thoroughly enjoyed my staff!

Very convenient location. Clean and comfortable!

Eta is a kind host. The home was quiet/peaceful. I love the vintage feel of the town and sitting on the porch. I was happy to find a delicious vegan lunch (KFK) right across the street next to Snallygaster’s who had the best Kumbucha!
4.3
clean. good location
no choice of breakfast times. they didn’t say what the menu was for breakfast.
4.3
Nothing
The service and attitude of the host was below average. We were not allowed to check in early despite the inn being not occupied and the host was difficult to get in contact with.
The breakfast was one egg and burnt toast with fruit. We do not recommend to return

Breakfast was very good
A fridge would have been nice in the room, but very quiet, clean and beautiful artwork and decor

Great hosts, good food, comfortable beds -- you couldn't ask for more!
Learned a "the secret code" for legal parking in Harpers' Ferry -- buy an annual pass to National Park Service properties, and by displaying it on your dashboard, you are permitted to park in the lot by the Railway Station! Go early before all the slots fill up!
Can't change geography = the walk up that hill is something else! It will help justify that fancy dessert you had after dinner ... but is a problem that is totally out of the control of the proprietors ...

good location. Parking was convenient.
the room was very small. The breakfast was mediocre. The host was grumpy on our arrival.

It was good . They run a very cozy place. And the breakfast was wonderful
The only is if the bed would of been bigger. That's just a minor thing. Everything else was good

The pros: free on site parking, location, clean room, comfortable bed and moderate price for a B&B.
The cons: nothing too special with the décor, only a few channels with spotty reception, very basic breakfast (just scrambled eggs, 1 piece of toast & some fruit - no bacon or sausage or anything typical of B&B's like quiche, scones, waffles etc., there were also tiny ants on the breakfast table, probably from all the fresh cut flowers from the garden). I would probably stay again for the comfort, cost and free parking :)

homey comfortable and great location

Breakfast was simple yet delicious!! Loved the location.
It's not a huge deal but alot of the TV stations did not work and it took a long time for the water in the bathroom sink to warm up. I am still highly recommending this place!
4.3
it was very comfortable and the host couldn’t have been friendlier
nothing

The room was cozy, clean, and neat. The bed was comfortable.
There was no introduction by the host to our facility. Was the house entry area a "common" area? We were simply shown to our room and given a key. The entry area of the home was kept dark, no lights on, so we did not feel free to use it as a common area. Breakfast was good food, but there was not enough for a man, portions were small.
4.3
Great location. Perfect breakfast to start the day spent chatting with lovely hostess!!
Nothing.warmth and comfort after a day of hiking in the cold. The bes t!!

Great place to stay!!

The hosts, Etal and Rock were very welcoming. Etal had a carafe of coffee available for us early birds, 7:00am, which was nice. The front porch was welcoming, enjoyed watching the hustle bussle of tourists on a holiday weekend.
We're early risers, wanting to start the day at daylight, breakfast wasn't available until after 8am, small complaint. The decor was outdated and a bit cluttered, the bed needed a new mattress and more pillows.
We did do our best to be polite and quiet guests, felt like we staying in a guest bedroom.

Location, quiet room. Host was very nice. Room was clean but decor was somewhat outdated.
No area to sit outside really, a front porch with a couple of metal chairs. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and fruit, not very hearty for a day planned on the trails. There was a collection of what appeared to be junk right outside one of the bedroom windows as well as when you pull up to the location. As if they were working on the property, but not actively.

Very clean, good location
Room was too small, too expensive for the size

And the breakfast was stellar
