Beautiful design. Love the waterfall. Love the breakfast bag. Linus the front desk was very friendly.
The bathroom bar door kept sliding close and doesn’t open easily from the inside.

Interesting building with a cool vibe. Good location. Comfortable bed. Excellent restaurant.
Given the price of the room, the fact that we had given plenty of advance notice and the good availability of gluten-free and dairy-free foods within Beacon, it was disappointing that my dietary requirements were not fully catered for with the in-room breakfast. I had to buy my own dairy-free yogurt and gluten-free granola.

Lovely location. We've eaten at the outdoor restaurant many times over the past few years, so we we interested in booking a short stay at the hotel. It's a beautiful building and our room was, overall, nice.
We were offered a king-size bed when we asked to move our room to a higher floor. What we got was a Queen-sized bed with a King frame. Very odd, and of course I bumped into the outsize, unprotected frame one night and was left with a king-size bruise! I told the staff about it when we checked out. They didn't have anything to say. No, “I'm sorry to hear that,” or “Let me check that out.”
The other odd thing was the "Continental" breakfast. On the second day of our stay we were missing the O.J., yogurt, etc. that should have been left in fridge. But we got the muffins. Since it was checkout day, we went out to have a lovely breakfast at Beacon Falls Cafe.
We can always eat at The Roundhouse restaurant, which remains a favorite of ours. But the hotel, as lovely as the building and grounds are, disappointed a bit.

the decoration
there were ants on one of the beds. I would’ve liked a better breakfast

Location, falls view, and the restaurant.

Easy and fast check in process, comfortable room and a great bed. We keep returning yearly and appreciate the great quality.
The bathroom has a barn door which does not really provide any privacy. Was surprised to see that the breakfast is still on the in-room protocol.

pretty room and location
very noisy all night- could barely sleep

I liked the wooden floors (vs carpeting) and the overall decor. For the area, I guess the price was pretty good.
The bathroom had some peeling paint and a shower faucet that needed some TLC. The room was a bit small for maneuvering, and the pedestal sink had little room to put stuff.

Lovely breakfast
Not very environmentally friendly. Lots of disposable plastic products rather than reusable ones. Rooms weren’t very sound proof, could hear the room on either side of me.

Beautiful location right off of Main Street in beacon. Lots of shops and small businesses to support. Great restaurants too! We stopped at Carters for brunch- awesome live music, friendly service, and fantastic food. The roundhouse restaurant served us a perfect dinner with beautiful scenery and delicious cocktails. Couldn’t be happier with our stay! It was the perfect anniversary celebration.

Room was large, the conversion is beautiful , well organised and stylish, location great too.
Minimal staff. Frankly laughable breakfast, if two miniature bagels and a defrosted muffin left outside your door is the best you can offer, I'd probably not bother. It's essentially a wedding venue. The restaurant /bar was not open apart from a private party. There is not a single other facility onsite. No where to sit outside of your room, no spa, bar, deliveries cluttering up the lobby etc. Also had to buy ear plugs for the air con, the sliding restroom door is irritating. Would come back to the town, but not here.

liked the rooms and toiletries. food in frig was good
no where to sit inside or outside. would have liked to have been able to see roundhouse interior. no chairs outside on property if interior seating removed because of COVID. bagels were not fresh baked.

The room size. The comfort of the beds and pillows. Strange that all pillows have an alarm. That felt a bit awkward.
Staff is not friendly or knowledgeable of their surrounds. When asking a question, it’s rather yes or no. Hospitality lacks big time, starting from the top down. Cleaning people know more about hospitality then the front desk. The breakfast gets served in a bag outside the room and left on the floor.

Spacious and comfortable rooms with good in-room amenities. Location at Beacon Falls close to town centre.
Hotel offers few facilities for guests outside their rooms; we stayed there midweek. Limited breakfast options.

Beautiful and clean.
The breakfast in the room. Not very practical.

Location was great for my purposes.
Bed & pillows were very comfortable. Apparently the pillows have been stolen because they had that weird security tag which could be uncomfortable.
Air conditioner was so loud.
Overall needed a modern upgrade. Was disappointed the hotel wasn't "greener" - single use plastic coffee creamers, no recycling disposal for coffee K cups or anything else.
Front desk wasn't especially friendly except for Linus.
