My boyfriend and i visted the Cape May area for the first time and wanted to give the Bedford Inn a try. The breakfast was amazing, creative and perfectly portioned. The beach was super close and was a short walk away. They give you beach tags and provide beach chairs and towels as well. I never felt like I needed or was missing anything during my stay and they even have board games available to play during your down time. They offer afternoon snacks daily and literally everyone there was super friendly. The room waswonderful and the bed was super comfy. I never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and I have to say I loved my experience. I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention a bunch of other lovely experiences from my stay here but it's safe to say I definitely plan to be back. Thank you Paula for a wonderful stay!

Very clean and everyone was very friendly

The breakfasts were absolutely amazing! And we were within walking distance to the beach and most places we wanted to visit.
The view from the front porch was the only thing that was a little disappointing. We faced the back of a large hotel.

location was great, Paula was cheerful and welcoming, and the food was very good!
the furniture was all beautiful antiques but so uncomfortable. the rooms (private and public) were a delight to look at and warm/welcoming, but we just couldn’t find any place to sit comfortably.

Super clean beautiful room , very friendly people.
I wish the room have dark curtains, too much light coming through the windows from the street in my room.

Leslie and Paula were so great! attentive to our needs and made us feel like we were part of their family. the property was a great example of Victorian architecture with a great sitting porch and piano in the living room. the rooms and bathrooms were all updated and clean.
not a thing but it took me sometime to figure out how to turn on the AC unit

The Charm, the hospitality, the Breakast, and wonderful beds!
The parkig is terrible. Tryinig to get into the parking area wasalmost impossible. The clearance between a parked car and the buildiong is measured in single figure numbes. If you are not an excellent driver, don't even try.

Breakfast was a total surprise, it was so good! Cleanliness is probably the best I've seen in the US, and I've been around in several hotels! Staff is super nice and helpful. Location is also great. Everything is great, serious.

We had breakfast on the open porch both mornings, and it was very good.
Being able to get early morning coffee was great.
Easy walking distance to the beach and shopping district with many fine restaurants.
A view of the ocean would be nice, but it didn't take away any of the Bedford's charm.
Parking isn't great, but that's everywhere in Cape May. Once you get a good spot, just walk.

The owner Paula was very accommodating. She allowed us to check in early and store our bikes on the porch due to some inclement weather. The breakfasts were excellent and the wine and cheese in the afternoons were also great . Highly recommend it.
