It’s was just a regular crappy hotel with an art gallery. One of the receptionists was nice and helped us find parking.
The room was smelly and the bathroom smellier. There was open pluming in the sink so I think that is where the stench was coming from. The phone in the room didn’t work. The bathroom was dirty, there seemed to be dried blood on the sink in bathroom and there was trash underneath the sink (deodorant and some tissues). Generally not nice room.

That it wasn’t a chain hotel
The fact that the heater fan was making a banging noise constantly that we had to change rooms at 2:30 in the morning and then the next room the lights didn’t work and the shampoo and conditioner were out. And the toilet ran all night

Nice facility. Bed was comfortable, water pressure was great, location was really convenient for me as I was in KC for a conference. I appreciated the quality bath products, the comfortable couch in the room).
Staff was sweet too
Didn't love that the cleaning of my room was unpredictable: sometimes they would show up at 8am, sometimes I'd leave for the morning and still come back to an uncleaned room.
By Thursday, the place was filled with drunk people, so be prepared for that experience (but in the room, i couldn't hear anything)

Breakfast was as expected. The displayed art was enjoyable. It was on the walls in the lobby and on all the floors. The art was very interesting.
The parking is not exactly smooth to arrange. There are so many hoops to negotiate to even park. It could be less tortuous and involved. There is no assistance in negotiating this barrier.

The penguins, the art, the Savoy is AMAZING. It was clean. Mini fridge snd nice waters. Having a robe snd safes in room. Heater worked well.
The water pressure was HORRIBLE. It was hard to get “warm water” in shower. It was either too hot or lukewarm. The sheets were very course and there was no comforter- just a scratchy slightly thicker “extra sheet” type blanket in top. Bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and lumpy. Yes the mattress was crunchy and lumpy. Horrible. The smoke detector flashed bright bright strobe type light right above the bed all through the night. Parking was also $10 a day across the street out in the open cold and anyone can break into your car, and not comped by hotel. Kind of cheap to at least not cover out parking….its supposed to be a nice hotel…

We missed breakfast or it was all gone by the time we got there. That was my only complaint. Seemed to end early?
Breakfast service could have been longer and warmer.

Truly enjoyed the Savoy. We had breakfast and dinner there. The staff was fantastic. I have no idea what Ty makes but you need to pay him more. You couldn't have found a more gregarious and dedicated server.
I don't have anything to say!! Everything was great.

I loved the Museum atmosphere. All the exhibits on display were really intriguing. The restaurant also had a great vibe and wonderful food!
I didn't really have any things that I would have changed.

Location to parking.
Clean hotel.
Pleasant staff.
Quick responses to problems.
A/C didn't work in the first room. The engineer was very good. Had to switch rooms. Better view..
TV wasn't functioning in the second room. Didn't want to switch rooms again. Fixed the next day.
Room was not cleaned. Bed not made, no new towels, no new coffee and water supplied in the room. When we checked out, the staff at the desk said the rooms are cleaned every other day and when we checked in , the front desk staff should have told us. Huh? There was a $25.00 voucher for the restaurant in with the room keys. Didn't know this until we were checking out. The front desk staff was supposed to tell us this when we checked in we were told.
My friend staying with me is elderly and has a walker.
When we checked out of your hotel I noticed two 20 somethings sitting on the curb outside the hotel smoking cigarettes. I told my friend to wait inside the doors while I get my truck from the parking lot.
When I drove up to the door, the young man & woman were still sitting on the curb were I had to pull my truck so my friend could easily get in my truck. I stuck my head out of my driver's window and asked them them very politely to move because I have to get close to the curb. The guy gets up and starts directing me on how to pull close to the curb.
I told him that I don't need help on how to park my vehicle, but I just need them to please move. This apparently perturbed him. Him moved two feet down the curb and sat down again. I very politely told him AGAIN that I am picking up an elderly woman, 92 years old to be exact, and I have to move close to the curb for it to be safe for here to enter my truck. He stays on the curb smoking his cigarette! Now he's starting to push my buttons!
I give the horn! I had to maneuver several back and forth him moves with my truck because there was a car parked too close behind me to pull in straight.
I get close to the curb. I help my elderly friend out of your hotel and into my truck.

Unique hotel
Could be cleaner, carpet had stains, bathroom tile grout looked gross in and out of the shower. No air movement in the room, you could manage the temp but the fan ran on low only,

Fab hotel, which our nephew recommended and glad he did! We stayed on a Friday night and got free parking on the road outside which was available from early evening all weekend. It was well located near to Phoenix club where we visited and comfortable bed

Staff members were wonderful: very approachable, helpful, and patient. I probably called 3 times before the visit, and every staff member was very well-informed and gave great advice!
Price seemed a little high

WiFi was poor. Carpets were not clean. But, the staff were very helpful in making sure that I had hypoallergenic washed cloths.

Staff was great, delivered a fridge and ice and a wine opener very promptly.
Check in was a bit delayed as I was standing there waiting and one clerk was on the phone having trouble so the other leaves me standing there while she helped the other. Seemed rude.

Such a unique stay with the most amazing staff! I would definitely stay here again, probably next time I’m in town!
Only complaint would be that the mini fridge didn’t seem to work very well.

It was clean and quiet, and we could easily walk to destinations. The art was interesting.
Had to pay for the parking garage overnight but happy it was across the street. I was really hoping for a room like the pictures with a view. When we first entered the room, the main light wouldn't come on, but after messing with the bathroom lights, it worked. I don't believe it was the operator it was just a flip switch. Lol

Breakfast and location
The room had no outside exposure, like living in a windowless cell.

Air conditioning could have worked better
