Awful. We did not stay. Went somewhere else.

Sketchy location, room dirty, smelled absolutely horrible. Many sketchy characters lurking outside.

Passable

The bathroom had a used washcloth from previous guest hanging in the shower as well as a moth. The rooms are all smoking rooms and there's a ridiculous surcharge for non-smoking.

There's good and bad with this property.

The staff was very nice, the property was in a good location and there were shops and restaurants very close by. The room was exceptionally clean and the area was quiet at night.

The pillows were VERY hard. I could not get the TV remote to work. The shampoo was in packets that were impossible to open with wet hands. There was only one hanger. There was a strange guy hanging around the parking lot. When I checked out, he took the card key from the front desk and went into my room to take the tip I left for the housekeeping person. When confronted, he gave the tip to her.

we will be back

everything. the rooms were clean and orderly. staff is absolutely wonderful. we will definitely be coming back. stores and restaurants close by.

I loved everything. amazing service and place to stay. definitely worth the food.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Toledo, this is it!

We absolutely love Best Motel! It is clean, comfortable, safe, well located, and a great value! Rick, owner and manager, always goes out of his way to make sure we have an excellent stay! We really appreciate him!

Friendly accommodating staff and clean, comfy room!

Nice remodeled / updated bathroom with exhaust fan; great heater / AC unit; comfortable bed. Clean! Friendly helpful staff and housekeeping.

Not much selection with TV / cable; street noise was a bit loud unless fan was on; coffee in room would have been nice.

Good for what I paid!

Very old motel, not in the best location but clean, quiet, despite the traffic on the street! It was very inexpensive to stay there and you get what you pay for! Very friendly!

Shabby but clean, good location, friendly staff.

The price and location were great, the room and bathroom were very clean, very nice new comfortable sheets and very comfortable pillows and bed, which were the most important to us in our stay. Great A/C, water pressure, and reception gave us bottles of water upon check-in.

The rooms were clean but shabby and in need of love/updating. Every chair in my room was torn or stained and we did not use them at all. The office chair did not raise up, so I had to sit on a pillow to use the desk comfortably. The last day we smelled cigarette smoke in the bathroom so much we could hardly use it. Reception said it must have been from someone smoking in the parking lot or downstairs in the smoking floor, but the smell was really horrendous. I had to return the towels before being given fresh towels, but there were only 2 medium sized towels given for two grown adults with long hair, which wasn't really adequate.

A cute little hotel perfect for an inexpensive getaway.

the bed was so comfortable. the AC worked well. staff was extremely sweet.

I didn’t like that you can smell the cigarette smoke from other rooms seeping in. it could use a little dusting.

Exactly as advertised. Cheap, clean, comfy beds. A perfect combination, couldn't have asked for more. Also not loud, even though close to a busy street.

We always stay at Best Motel when we are in the Toledo area. The staff members are supportive, the room is clean, and the value cannot be beat!

street noise as I’m a light sleeper but room fan noise drowned out street noise for sleeping so this was not a problem

Pleasant

Low price. A/C worked well. Three different pillows to choose from.

The location is in good proximity to restaurants and shopping but there was a lot of noise from locals walking around (possibly living there??) that made us feel uneasy. There is a lot of traffic on the road right out front. Sounded like a drag strip at night.

very clean Property owner very helpful!! The owner put my nerves at ease about the area, being a single women. He also had great recommendation to the Mexican restaurant next door!

Don't waste your time, it's a reason WHY the price is cheap

The price set on Booking.com and what I actually paid was different. Booked room consecutive weeks, the first week at check in, I was given a dirty room, and that's putting it mildly. The second week was charged twice for a week's stay. Approach Mgr with the hope that he would correct the error, instead, I had to call the authorities and Mgr(owner, very disrespectful and untruthful) had the cops remove me from the premises with 5 days remaining on my stay.

Quiet location

The bed was very comfortable and fairly new. The bathroom seemed new although it was very small and the rug in the room was new. The room was clean.

The cleaning product that was used in the room smelled toxic and was very unpleasant and hard for us to tolerate initially. I wish all hotels would use unscented products.
