About this villa rental
Villa Loukia is a family home that has been successfully rented for 16 years and is loved by all who visit (see the 90+ 5* reviews). Villa Loukia underwent major refurbishment between 2015-20. The whole villa was re-tiled, luxury bathrooms created and the kitchen was re-modelled with all new appliances.
The master bedroom was extended to create a 'master suite' with a sofa bed at one end for those with young children. There is also ample room for a travel cot too. The new, luxurious bathroom has a bath and separate shower. It has great lighting, courtesy night lights, extraction fan, heated mirror and a shaving mirror.
The 'Blue' Bedroom and bathroom was remodeled so that the twin beds (can be made up as a double) are opposite the amazing view, the floor is the same gorgeous tiles as the master, the bathroom is larger than it used to be and really luxurious with a wet-room style shower, loads of modern lighting, automatic night lights, heated mirror and magnified shaving mirror. All the details you could ever need.
Downstairs is the Orange Bedroom and bathroom was upgraded to the same standard as the other two bedrooms/bathrooms. It has the advantage of having french windows that lead out onto the terrace and pool.
The whole of the living area has also been re-tiled to match the rest of the property and extended with a fantastic 'picture' window that takes in the view across Avlaki to Albania beyond. This gives a wonderful indoor dining area for low season.
We are really pleased with the results of the all the work we have done an guests seem just as pleased!
Villa Loukia is located in a stunning position, nestled into the quiet olive covered hillside above Kassiopi in the hamlet of Kelia. The views from the villa across the bay of Avalaki and to Albania beyond are truly stunning. The property was new for 2008, when my husband and I bought it. We are English family with many years experience of holidaying in Corfu. Attention has therefore been paid to equipping the villa with all the necessary equipment for a relaxing and happy holiday whilst making sure it remains comfortable and practical for both couples and families alike. Villa Loukia is also equipped with items such as hairdryers and beach towels in order to reduce the need for too much expensive baggage on the flight over. Also for guest convenience every room has a 3 pin English socket as well as the standard 2-pin and USB sockets. No need to bring adapters.
The location is quiet and private - away from other properties - however unlike many villas in NE Corfu, the situation above Kassiopi means that it is possible to walk (1 km - 10-15 mins) to shops/restaurants in the evening, leaving the car at home. The nearest supermarket is just 5 mins walk or 2 mins in the car. The famous village of Kalami and the lovely secluded coves of that area is just a 10-15 mins drive. The pool is large (5m x 10m) and in 2015 we added optional heating which has been loved by guests using the villa in low season.
We do have external security cameras but all are set away from guest areas. They are set on the drive, front entrance and rear of the villa. There are no internal cameras. The cameras are purely for the security of the villa.
In 2018 we set a goal to make Villa Loukia carbon neutral and we are committed to reducing climate change. Carbon offsetting is used to balance out our emissions by helping to pay for emission savings in other parts of the world.
We pledge to offset each year the carbon connected to the use of Villa Loukia as a holiday rental. This includes electricity, car usage by guests and staff, laundry and ALL guest flights. We produce much of our own electricity with the Photovoltaic Panel System (about 60% depending on the weather) on the roof and the Solar Water System. We offset with a donation to carbonfootprint.com and their Community Projects Portfolio in Developing Countries.
The pledge we make is personal and on behalf of our Grandchildren, so that they and their descendants can have a future that equals the life that we have had. It does not come at any financial cost to our guests.

Everything about Villa Loukia is 5 star. The attention to detail makes for a stress free stay. Every bedroom has its own up to date ensuite and the kitchen is fully equipped with an American style fridge freezer with ice. The table tennis was constantly used and it was nice to be able to choose to have the swimming pool heated as we stayed early in the season. A car is necessary for trips to the supermarket and visits to nearby beaches although everything is only a short drive away. This was our second wonderful stay and we hope to visit again in the near future. It is so lovely to get off the plane and know you will have a stress free stay especially travelling with a young baby. The owner could not have been more helpful.

Extremely comfortable and well equipped property. Wonderful private outdoor space with plenty of seating areas, a large pool and glorious views. The needs of visitors were very well catered for such as plenty of beach and pool towels, outdoor fridge, music and barbecue area. Communication with the owner was excellent - very friendly and responsive.
This was our first visit to Kassiopi which we found to be a lovely resort with enough to do without being overpowering. The Villa is around 15 minutes walk in a private location on a hillside but this was fine for our party. We would highly recommend this beautiful property.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Loukia. The villa has everything you need and is within walking distance to the pretty harbour, which has so many good bars and restaurants you are really spoilt for choice. Lucy is a wonderful host and was very helpful in arranging our taxi transfer from the airport and sourcing motorbike hire, which sadly we didn’t use, as we were so chilled just relaxing round the pool. Would love to go back so we can explore more of the island.

Villa Loukia is absolutely stunning, with amazing views. You can tell that Lucy and her husband have put their heart and soul into it. Kassiopi is a beautiful little harbour town, with plenty of nice restaurants. We had a great 2wk holiday and would definitely stay again.

Villa Loukia is a great property, immaculately clean, well equipped (even had glasses in the freezer!). All of the rooms are ensuite (which we hadn't realised!) and there's lots of space for all the family - including a separate level with a table tennis table, plus several outside seating areas to choose from... Our favourite was evening drinks on the balcony - great views, comfortable furniture and much welcomed shade after a full day in the sun!
Great communication from Lucy - and lots of info on things to do and places to visit in the area which was really helpful! We enjoyed reading the back-story to the villa too!
It's a bit of a walk up the hill (esp. in the heat) and reminder to take your mosquito spray!
We had a great holiday - we hope to visit again and would definitely recommend Villa Loukia to others!

Imagine a lovely fishing village, a gentle hill offering breathtaking views just behind, and a stylish, spacious house, perfectly positioned with a pool and verandas to take it all in - yet a short stroll to everything you need. Well, you have Loukia.
We loved this house. Situation: check. Facilities: check. Style and comfort: check. Location: check. And as for the view out the huge box window. A photo home prompted the question, ‘will you be issuing orders to kill James Bond?’
A perfect base, whether you want to chill, stay local or explore. Wonderfully helpful and responsive owner too. Recommended.

We have recently returned from a wonderful stay at Villa Loukia with our two children. The villa itself is beautiful, and it was clear from the moment we arrived that Lucy has applied a great deal of thought to the accommodation throughout the property. The bathrooms are high-end, the kitchen is very well equipped, there’s a good TV package and even a separate wi-fi available for the outdoors area. The pool was a big hit with everyone, as was the table tennis, and we all loved the BBQ area after dusk to share our evenings together. There were also lots of lovely corners outdoors, both upstairs and on the main terrace, to read a book or share a glass of wine together. The villa is just above Kassiopi, so the views are absolutely stunning. This was our second visit to Villa Loukia. Last year we also came with two teens and they were able to stroll into the town centre quite easily and have some independence, which was a big tick for us!
Throughout the booking process and during our stay, Lucy has been superb to deal with.
Thank you for having us and we all hope to return again for another stay at Villa Loukia

This is a fantastic location with amenities close at hand and access to beautiful walks, and beaches. The views are stunning and it a beautifully maintained and comfortable villa, very thoughtfully equipped and furnished.

Regrettably we have just returned from a two-weeks stay at Villa Loukia - we would have loved the opportunity for at least another week. You rarely find a holiday home where you feel the owners have made thoughts about every detail from the tastefully furnished interior to the different sitting areas outside and the well equipped kitchen. This was the first time, we came to Corfu in springtime and though it was still not very hot (perfect for us), the pool had a pleasant temperature and we loved all the flowers between the olive trees. We had a lot of fun with our friends who joined us in the middle of our stay with a daily table tennis match and enjoyed the beautiful views to Albania. Lucy always kept in touch whats going on and for example the hint of a boat trip to Kerkira was a very good idea. In any case a recommendation for everbody with the intention to spending holidays on Corfu and preferring the privacy of a holiday home to a hotel.

Villa Loukia
We had a fantastic stay in Villa LOUKIA, we cannot fault anything about the Villa. The younger kids loved the pool and the older ones especially loved the outside WIFI!!! Location perfect with our teenagers able to walk into Kassiopi in about 10mins. We have already booked for next year!!! Lucy was very good at keeping in touch given what has gone on this year!!

Wonderful Stay August 2021
We have just returned from a wonderful stay in Villa Loukia in August 2021. As a party of 6 - 2 adults and 4 teenagers (14-19), we all agreed that this was one of the best holidays ever. In the lead up to the holiday, Lucy couldn’t have been more helpful, happy to provide recommendations and advice over the phone and by email. When we did arrive, the villa lived up to all expectations. Lucy’s attention to detail was evident throughout, for example in all the different sitting and dining areas. That’s before mentioning the fantastic (large) pool, great bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and amazing views! Kassiopi itself was as lovely as ever - just on the right side of lively for us - and is definitely walkable. We walked both ways every day (often more than once) and while it will certainly keep you fit, it became part of our daily routine. Even the kids didn’t moan! I couldn’t recommend Villa Loukia highly enough and we will definitely be looking to return as soon as we can

Perfect Villa for Staying in Kassiopi
The Villa Loukia is situated on the outskirts of Kassiopi. It is in a lovely quiet setting but there is only a 10-15min walk into town. The Villa was lovely and clean and the decor was to a high standard. We spent a lot of time in the pool or just chilling and admiring the lovely views from the villa. We were a party of 6 adults of mixed ages and we all highly rated the villa. Would highly recommend for a relaxing holiday in Kassiopi.

Paradise at Villa Loukia!
Nestled amongst picturesque olive groves sits the beautiful Villa Loukia. Wherever you wander in the Villa you have the most wonderful views over the bay of Kassiopi and across to the mountains of Albania - watching the sun rise and sun set was quite cinematic as was the star filled sky!
The owners Lucy and Nick have created a spectacular home which is both modern and rustic - beautiful en-suite bedrooms, well appointed kitchen, lounge area with amazing picture window, super efficient air conditioning and a variety of outside sitting areas to unwind. The swimming pool could not be better and we spent many a day cooling down here!
Nikos supermarket is just 10 minutes walk down the hill and they will kindly deliver your goods to the Villa, a great bonus! Kassiopi, a 15 minute walk, has a wide variety of restaurants - our favourites included Petrino ( friendly staff ) and Trilogia ( fine dining ) both having great views.
TOP TIP for an exciting day out is to hire a boat from Filippos down in the bay and enjoy swimming in the various bays - we pulled up at Agni Bay and had an excellent lunch at Taverna Agni - a most memorable day for us all.
My wife and I along with our daughter, son and son-in-law, had such a wonderful week at Villa Loukia , we only wish it could have been longer! 5 stars all the way!
Finally, I must thank Lucy for her excellent communication, understanding and advice at all points during such uncharted times. Previous reviews have praised how Covid conscious owner Lucy is and I can fully endorse these comments - all measures have been put in place for us all to stay safe and enjoy our time at Villa Loukia.

Fantastic Villa
This is an absolutely fabulous villa. We stayed with 4 teenagers and Kassiopi is perfect to leave them safely in town after dinner. Mostly they walked back but taxis were available. The villa is very well equipped with everything you need and then a bit more. All of very high quality. Having stayed in many Homeaway villas I would say this is the best. The owner is very COVID conscious and safe - for example the dvd library was not in use ( but you didn’t need it as there are so many films available on the tv) and there is also extra cleaning etc. The shops were also COVID aware. I would highly recommend a visit even in this pandemic. Finally the view from the upstairs balcony is unbelievable and has to be experienced.

A very special place
A family of 6 stayed in the villa. It has been the most beautiful place we’ve stayed. Every detail is of high spec, the size of the villa means everyone can find a quiet space. We loved the new table tennis table and the pool was warm enough for even me, and fussy. The location is very peaceful, up in the hills, surrounded by greenery with views of the sea and the mountains of Albania. We loved watching the sun rise from our balcony and hearing the bells on goats. It’s a great location to access beautiful beaches and the sea. We needed a car as some of our family would struggle with the steep walk back to the villa from the local village. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this place.

Beautiful place to stay
From the moment we walked through the door, it was obvious this was the best villa we had ever stayed at. There were so many lovely touches, the view was amazing, the pool was delightful, the beds were so comfy, in fact, it was so good we are going to try and go back next year. Easy to find the villa, close to amenities, but so quiet you wouldn't know Kassiopi was less than a mile away.

Absolute paradise!
Our second visit to Villa Loukia and we enjoyed it even more than last time. The villa is luxurious and comfortable and surrounded by olive groves above Kassiopi. The views are stunning. It is so peaceful and lovely to hear the tinkling of the goat bells all around us.
We all loved the large swimming pool and all the various seating areas outside. We didn’t cook (far too many good restaurants in town) but the kitchen is very well equipped and the indoor dining area is beautiful. We did take it in turns for an early morning stroll down to the bakery to collect breakfast though!
Lucy (the owner) is very friendly and helpful and a great source of local knowledge.
Kassiopi has everything. Shops, bars and great restaurants. A marina. Boat hire - highly recommended. It’s a friendly safe place to stay but with great nightlife (Kostas bar was our fav).
We were 6 adults and the villa is so spacious we often “lost” one another! We were grateful for the aircon and overhead fans though the villa seems naturally cool and airy.
To summarise, none of us wanted to leave and we are already planning our next visit!

Perfect in every way!
I cannot think of enough superlatives to describe this villa! Beautiful inside and out, incredible views, spacious, extremely well equipped, comfy beds, well maintained pool and gardens, spotlessly clean, every extra you could think of, from phone charging sockets, Sky TV, table tennis to large and fluffy pool towels, lilos and outside drinks fridge! We loved the fact that it is Eco-friendly with solar panels, and separate recycling, and working towards being completely carbon neutral.
The owner Lucy is incredibly helpful, from the initial enquiry, through the whole booking process, and was always speedy in replying to any queries we had.
I would heartedly recommend this villa. We are hoping to book for next year! Many thanks x

Villa Loukia
I think this was our fifth stay at Villa Loukia and every time we return there is another improvement. The villa itself has a five star feel to it, the pool and views are fantastic and it is also very private set in a lovely garden and olive grove. There is now a table tennis court an a terrace above the pool which we really enjoyed.
The villa is very clean and all the rooms and bathrooms have a luxury feel to them. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need.
I would highly recommend a stay at this villa.

Our stay at Villa Loukia
We have just returned from 6 nights at Villa Loukia. It was completely fabulous and the views stunning. The owners instructions and help was spot on and they have created somewhere very special. Perfect for us, two couples with two 17 year olds who could walk into town and sample the night life without us worrying. Fab supermarket with fresh produce, extremely close by
(5 min drive )so all in all a hassle free holiday, thank you Lucy!

A fabulous high quality property. Luxurious and tranquil.
This Villa is built and decorated to an extremely high standard. So much thought and attention to detail has gone into this, to make it a really special, luxurious but homely property. It has everything you could possibly need to make your stay as easy and convenient as possible. If you are self catering the kitchen is extremely well equipped and the BBQ area is delightful. It is like having your own tavern! The property is clean and fresh, and situated in such lovely surroundings, with stunning views that you can never tire of. The property is not overlooked, so is very private and is in really easy walking distance of the shops and some really good quality restaurants. We have been to this property before, and would always highly recommend it. However it never ceases to amaze me that each time we go the owners have made even further improvements. Any comments and suggestions given by guests are carefully considered and the property continues to evolve. I cannot fault this Villa in any way. It is such a pleasure to walk through the door at the beginning of the week and so sad to leave it at the end. If you have not been here before and are looking for that special place then do not hesitate, as this is definitely it!

Superb villa in a fantastic location
Villa Loukia is in an idyllic location with all the facilities needed for a luxurious, relaxing holiday. The views from the terrace at sunrise and sunset are breathtaking. We did drag ourselves out to local beaches and local restaurants but could easily have spent a week not leaving the Villa.
We’ll definitely return as it would be nice to see Corfu during the Spring.

Beautiful villa in an elevated position with stunning views. We had a wonderful holiday
Its the attention to detail throughout the villa which is so impressive - everything has been carefully considered. We found the location very convenient for going everywhere by car - all the main beaches and restaurants accessible within 15 minutes. Definitely worth hiring a boat from St.Stefanos to visit numerous bays on the way to Agni beach to their excellent restaurants - went 4 times.
Going into Kassiopi we preferred to drive down and park on the road to enable easy journey home.
The quality of the villa and the location gives anyone huge flexibility as to staying in or going out. Highly recommend this property.

Fantastic villa, pool and location
Extremely well equipped and comfortable villa in a great part of Corfu. Pool was perfect and with spectacular views. Easy 15 minute walk to the harbour but you might prefer a taxi or to drive uphill on the way back in the heat of the day if you are less able. Not a complaint, just an observation! Made full use of the BBQ.

Beautiful villa in a lovely setting
Kassiopi is a delightful little village with a great selection of restaurants clustered around the harbour. Villa Loukia, on the hill behind, is a great place to stay to enjoy it all. The villa has been fantastically equipped and the layout is perfect for a family or small group of friends. Many little extras set it apart.. luxury linen, towels and toiletries are provided and the air con and fitted mosquito blinds are brilliant. Lots of idyllic outside seating areas to enjoy the amazing views over the sea. The pool is a good size and fluffy pool towels are provided. You will need a car though. The owner Lucy was a pleasure to deal with and provided lots of helpful information. Would most definitely recommend.

A great destination for our honeymoon!
We stayed at Villa Loukia as part of our honeymoon to Greece from the United States (California)! It was a far journey and we are so glad we decided on Lucy's wonderful house and Corfu as our destination. Villa Loukia was spotless and perfectly comfortable. We appreciated the design of the home and many lovely details. We loved having the pool to ourselves with gorgeous sweeping views of hills, water, and Albania. We enjoyed a short walk to town from the house but also appreciated the privacy that the location afforded us. We cooked comfortably at the home one night and enjoyed lots of nearby tavernas as well as easy getaways to other destinations on Corfu. Lucy was a wonderful host and especially helpful leading up to our trip. As major planners, we had lots of big and small questions in advance and Lucy was so warm and quick in her responses and shared all her expertise with us. Many thanks!

I have stayed in many rental villas in Greece and Villa Loukia is most definitely one of the best. The photographs do not do this stunning location justice. The décor is beautiful and this is one of the best equipped places I have ever rented. The owners have put a lot of thought into making your stay as comfortable as possible. The high standards are also reflected in the cleanliness.
The local information provided by the owners was excellent from directions to the villa to the best place to buy Tzatziki.
I would most definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a stunning secluded hide away on Corfu that is also easily walkable into Kassiopi.

Dear Lucy and Nick
We're safely home from a truly fabulous holiday!
Villa Loukia is as sensational as our first impressions, and I'm sure there isn't a more perfect location in the whole of Corfu!
Everyone you've got working there is excellent - nice people, reliable, and good at their jobs. It was great to have a holiday home where everything functioned perfectly.
We spent many happy hours just sitting and watching, and we loved seeing the goats coming up and down the terraces each day.
Truly a great holiday
Thanks again
Mike & Jane.

What a fantastic place to spend my 50th birthday with the family! My husband and children (aged 23, 22, 21) didn't want to go home and now back in an Autumnal England we are pining for the beautiful sea views of the Albanian mountains, the peace and tranquillity around the pool and the gentle swaying of the hammock!
The villa is exactly as it looks in the pictures and is equipped with so many extras that make it a real home from home; books, maps, DVDs, cards and games, pool airbeds and balls, good quality kitchen utensils etc etc.
The villa is situated in a perfect position to suit any age group, from the peace and quiet of the hillside olive groves to the lively bars, shops and restaurants of the beautiful harbour village of Kassiopi, 15 minutes walk away. Lucy's suggestions of restaurants, places to go and things to do were so useful and accurate. On Lucy's recommendation, we drove 5 minutes down the road and also sailed in our little hire boat, to the beautiful sandy beach at Kalamaki, where we snorkelled and swam in water as warm and clear as a bath!
We seemed to re-live Gerald Durrell's book 'My Family and other Animals', as we had close encounters with so many creatures around the villa; tortoises, geckos, magenpies and ciccadas in the garden, an owl sat on the road outside, a bat with a broken wing on the patio, a buzzard sat on the pool railings and a beech marten peeking at us from the barbecue wall! The Wi-Fi came in handy for Googling animals!
Having never having been to Corfu before, Lucy said to me that the North East coast and Kassiopi are a well-kept secret and people return again and again. She's right, come and find out for yourself.

A wonderful relaxing holiday, villa loukia has everything you could wish for with beautiful views from several different balconys. The pool was completely private within a peaceful setting, and there was plenty of seating and sun beds to accommodate everyone. There is a beautiful BBQ area that we took advantage of on our first night but if you prefer to eat out it is only a 10/15 min walk to the centre of kassiopi with a full range of restaurants which were all very friendly.
Overall I could not find a fault with anything at the villa except the week went too quick and wished we had two weeks maybe next time!!!

This was my first visit to Villa Loukia and I would highly recommend it. The villa was set in peaceful surroundings with the most idealic views that could be seen from the balconies leading off the bedrooms. The pool was well maintained and plenty of space to sunbathe or read a book in the shade. There is even a hammock for the more daring holiday maker!!
There is a lovely bbq area in a secluded area if you enjoy self catering but if you want to eat out the centre of Kassiopi is only 10 mins walk away with every variety of cuisine. If you don't fancy the walk back there are taxis on standby and very reasonable in price.
Overall I thought Villa Loukia was a home from home with the added bonus of the hot sunshine!! I couldn't fault anything, they have catered for all needs. I would highly recommend this to friends and family and only wish I could have stayed longer as the week just went too quick. I would definitely go back again!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at Villa Loukia. The villa is modern and fully equipped with everything you would need for a lovely vacation. The views across the water to Albania are stunning, and the villa is a very short drive into Kassiopi town or to the nearest beach, though we tended to spend most afternoons relaxing by the swimming pool which was beautifully maintained and the perfect temperature.

Our third visit in six years and it's just like coming home. A great outside house, lots of terrace and balcony space with a fantastic tiled pool and surrounding area with a hammock and shade arrangement under the olive trees which is brilliant. The BBQ area and table is a real party space and the upper balcony is the best place for an evening chill out watching the shooting stars and Albania in the distance. Local beeches are great but not sandy, boat hire is a must use St Stephanos boats which are better quality, we really liked restaurant Tavernaki in Kassiopi Port which is new this year and great quality and value for money.

I was a little worried that Villa Loukia wouldn't/couldn't live up to expectations - but I forgot all those worries as soon as we arrived. The views are superb. Pool, terrace and garden are gorgeous. All the rooms are tastefully decorated but still feel homely. And the location was perfect for us: far enough out of Kassiopi to feel peaceful but not too far to walk home after a night out at one of the local restaurants. Our sadness at leaving was only tempered by the fact that we're going back again later in the year. Just wonderful.

This was our 1st stay at Villa Loukia. The villa is even better than the description & photos. It was extremely comfortable & had plenty of space for us all to relax, & we especially liked having so many terraces / places to sit ( the hammock was a great hit). We loved having the ability to just walk down to road & collect fresh bread & creamy Greek yogurt for breakfast & then sit & enjoy that, whilst gazing out at the glorious view towards Albania.
Nikos & Lea , at the local supermarket, were so kind & helpful- even supplying an extra free bottle of prosecco for a special occasion. Their local caught fish & meat for the BBQ were excellent. We enjoyed exploring the area & hired a boat on 2 occasions. That allowed us to go back to Agios Stephanos & arrive at the taverna by sea. We had wonderful food wherever we ate - Lucy, all your recommendations lived up to their descriptions. We didn't have time to get to Agni, so that will have to wait until the next visit. We also enjoyed horse riding.
Thanks to Julia, the local agent who gave us helpful advice.
All in all we felt the holiday could not have been any better in terms of a beautiful villa & pool, in a lovely location , with everything you could want to hand. Definitely a 5 star holiday. Do hope we get to go back another time.
