Clean rooms, terrible breakfast!

The staff were very friendly and bed was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was not very good. most of hot food was cold. Coffee was terribly weak and the orange juice dispenser wasn't working at all.

The persons who checked us in were great

Rude customer service from a male manager who called about my credit card and never left a message. A woman Thursday night was rude when I tried to change my credit card because the other one was hacked. The rude kitchen staff this morning.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I felt like I was sleeping on cement. I stop at this hotel often and I don’t recall ever having a bad night sleep. I don’t know if they put in anew mattress Or, if this one is ready for a change. But everything else was wonderful.

Clean, quiet hotel next to NIU

Breakfast was typical for this level of hotel, which means it's not very good, but at least there's something to eat, so you won't leave hungry. Pool looked good, but we didn't bring swimsuits. Bottles of water at check-in were very nice. I needed to go to NIU in the evening, and the hotel is very close.

Everything was good. Clean, quiet, adequate breakfast. No complaints.

Convenient place to stay when visiting DeKalb

The hotel was clean airy and quiet. We liked the swimming pool and the fact that there was green spaces around. The staff were very helpful and there was a good breakfast, albeit very processed.

It was a shame that all the breakfast was served on disposable plates and cutlery which did not seem very environmental. There was no room service (bed making etc) the stay but think this was due to Covid?

The room is getting old! Wear and tear is becoming obvious. I thought I was gonna fall all the way backwards when I sat in the desk chair. And this is evident with all the marks are on the wall from the chair constantly hitting and marking up the wall.

although a little limited on fruit (limited # of bananas each morning). Would be nice to have something more diabetic friendly. Would have been nice to have room serviced every other day (although it was up to me to ask for that if I wanted it).
