" A haven of peace and beauty"

We arrived at The Garden Room and were greeted by our very friendly hosts Julie and Frank and their little dog Evie. The accommodation was excellent with a large double bed that was extremely comfortable. Lovely tea and scones were provided on our arrival. They were a delicious treat. Our choices for breakfast were a bit more varied than most and with Frank being an excellent chef, the breakfasts was delicious. The garden room is so tranquil and the surrounding scenery breathtaking. You could take some lovely quiet walks just outside their avenue . You are also very close to some lovely beaches. We had a lovely time there. Would definitely visit again.

Our stay was perfect, great hosts, lovely surroundings and the accommodation was perfect.

Breakfast was superb and the location was perfect, close to Wesport and located close to all the fabulous outdoor amenities the area has to offer.

Exceptional

If this is the end of the world, we are looking forward to it. Sleepy Hollow is at the end of the road but worth all the bumpy roads leading to it. After a long day of traveling we were greeted wholeheartely and with self baked scones. What a surprise. The room offers plenty of space and is very comfortable. Although the breakfast menu gave away a little in terms of the choices, we were not prepared to what we experienced the next morning at the breakfast table in the main building. It shows that Frank has been a chef for many celebrities and VIPs. Although each of us had a different coice each day, we did not complete the menu options and will have to come back. We had very nice talks and Frank and Julie even arranged for the road to be paved (well, not exactly just for us, I presume).

This B&B is in a beautiful, quiet location. The owners have taken great care with the facilities and the breakfast was excellent. It was a lovely place to stay.

11/10 excellent stay!

Location was stunning. Property was modern, spotless, very comfortable and had everything we needed and some. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have had at any accommodation type, hotels included. Lots to chose from and cooked to perfection! To top it all of, our hosts, Frank & Julie were so lovely and welcoming. One of the most enjoyable parts of our weekend away was having breakfast and chatting with them. Would recommend to anyone interested in visiting the West of Ireland. We will absolutely be returning!

Frank and Julie are exceptional. The location is super. Fantastic choice of breakfast with local quality produce. Everything is finished to the highest quality. Everything surpassed our expectations. This place can not be faulted 10/10.

It was an amazing experience! Just everything about this place was great. The breakfast was superb and the accommodation itself was way above our expectations. The hosts where incredibly welcoming and friendly, their lovely dog as well:) the location was very convenient and beautiful, with super beautiful garden views.

Secret Happy Hollow!

Loved this secluded little space and Frank and Julie the hosts were so welcoming and charming.

Nothing. The only difficulty is finding it initially but we were flying after that!

Beautiful room in a stunning and peaceful location. A short drive from Louisburgh and a great base to explore Mayo. Julie and Frank were the perfect hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious, Couldn't recommend a stay here enough.

Simply Perfect! 😍

Everything was just perfect! This B&B exceeded all our expectations. The Garden Room was spotless clean and very cosy with a very stylish and cute interior, the bed was very comfortable. A very private and luxurious place to stay. The scenery/location was simply breathtaking and beautiful, plus only a short walk to the beach. Without doubt the best place we’ve ever stayed at and for sure the best breakfast we’ve had, simply delicious! Frank and Julie were perfect and wonderful hosts - thank you for everything! :) Highly recommend!

The best accomodation ever

Breakfast was divine. The Room was the most comfortable and beautiful I have ever been to. Every extra One l could ask for was there. The hosts do manage the art of hosting.

Superb.

Sleepy Hollow was one of the most amazing places in which i have ever stayed. Remarkably comfortable with great style, such helpful hosts and the best breakfast I have ever had. Self contained studio so very private. Blissfully quiet , fabulous garden and within walking distance of a beautiful safe beach. And very convenient for the ferry at Roonagh Pier for Clare Island and Inisturk islands. Unforgetable like a wonderful dream.

Hidden gem

Room was amazing and clean.Frank and Julie were perfect hosts.Scenery stunning from our room with a beautiful beach a short walk away.I would highly recommend the garden rooms to anyone.Value for money fantastic. Nothing was too much for Frank and Julie.

The Garden Room at Sleepy Hollow

Regina and I were delighted at the genuine and warm reception we received from the moment we pulled into the drive. Julie and Frank are the best hosts you’ll meet. They were so chatty and humorous and put us at ease immediately. Frank, a top chef, produced the most amazing breakfasts I’ve ever had at a hotel or BnB. I can’t complement enough the quality of the room and the attention to detail from the selection of teas and coffees to the jelly beans, cookies and cake. It’s as if Julie and Frank knew about my sweet tooth. Everything was impeccably well presented and gorgeously decorated. The location was exactly what we wanted, isolated yet beautiful. So quiet and relaxing. I find it hard to recall any location from my travels over the years as wonderful as this. We will return...

Perfection...!

Julie and Frank are genuinely one of the nicest couples I’ve ever met. The garden room at sleepy Hollow is beautifully decorated and you instantly feel calm when you step foot in the room. The best breakfast I’ve ever had. Irish breakfast was delicious (my first experience of black pudding) and Franks smoked tart with poached egg and hollandaise was gorgeous. I honestly couldn’t rate the whole stay highly enough. Genuinely will be looking to rebook :)
