Bondi at your doorstep!

The location was superb! Right in the very heart of Bondi with a plethora of activities at your doorstep. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The owner was very accessible and super friendly to deal with. Our stay couldn't have been any better. Highly recommend!

Top notch

Great location, with everything we needed.

Parking is hard work. Very busy area with limited parking and expensive. Speak to Ashley about better/ cheaper options. He was very helpful.

Wonderful location, great bedding and host responsive

Spacious, neat and tidy and a great location.

Very easy to collect the keys. Great location. More beds than expected. Lots of room.

Running very low on dishwashing liquid, dishwashing detergent. There was a musty smell in the hallway. But you couldn't notice it inside the property.

Disappointing

Locaction, superficially nice apartment. Nice decoration but all a bit dated.

Cockroaches! in the kitchen! sheets clean but with stains, washing machine as strange smell, not well cleaned in general (longhairs, stains on and in shelfs etc)

Beautiful location, clean and tidy!

Amazing location very clean and tidy

Parking was challenging however the parking permits really helped which we appreciated. Also needs a vacuum cleaner - we weren't able to clean as much as we would have liked to

Amazing location. Good beds for what we needed. Nice living room and little balcony.

The parking arrangement is not as straightforward as its reads. It is a shared driveway, so depends on what time you arrive to whether you're free to leave first if anyone parks in front of you, or you them. Yes a piece of paper is supplied to put your name and number, but that's not a guarantee for the other cars for you. The apartment needs a deep clean. Underneath one of the beds, after picking something up I dropped, I could see, old socks, lipstick, rubbish, huge amounts of dust and dirt. Two cockroachs were also seen running across the bedroom floor. The dishwasher on the last day, I put a cup and a plate in, only to find the washer literally full of dishes that had not been emptied since whenever. The kitchen tops and cupboards had almost a film over it, again, a good clean would sort this. Tumble dryer and washer could do with being looked at/replaced. Amenities left for guests, like salt, pepper, cooking oil, little odds and ends etc, again, sticky, grimy. Either have fresh or just don't offer. It sounds quite negative and I apologise, just being honest and would happily give a 10! It's an awesome place, great size, great location.

Very good

Location was FAB - right next door to the Bondi Markets (for the weekend) and a short stroll to the main strip of Bondi. Being able to get the car off the street was also a huge advantage. Ash was really responsive and very helpful with any questions we had and the apartment was great value for money.

Awesome location, great facilities, surprisingly spacious

We had an excellent time at Beach Retreat in Bondi. Two very generous bedrooms, living area, kitchen and sunroom; felt very spacious. Well appointed, fast reliable (Telstra nbn internet), right near the beach and great host. Would definitely stay again.

We will definitely be back, loved everything about it.

Location was amazing! Right on the doorstep of all Bondi Beach has to offer. Walking distance to everything you could need, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shopping and everything in between. The bus services are a few minutes walk and the bus takes you to Bondi Junction and on to the heart of the CBD and Circular Quay. We used it all weekend! Loved the old building and the detail in it. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Beautifully styled and homely. Host was wonderful, prompt responses to messages when needed and he was really helpful. So happy we found this last minute stay after the original apartment we booked was a scam (which we didn’t discover until we drove 3.5 hours interstate!)

No complaints at all. Only comment was that it can get a bit chilly, but it is winter and the place is a beautiful old Sydney building so built well before modern comforts, so to be expected and no fault of the host. Definitely didn’t put us off though and there was plenty of extra blankets to keep us warm. Good gas heater in the lounge room helped too.

Great spot for a little holiday!

This property is in an excellent location. My family and I were very comfortable here. Great spot to base yourself for work and pleasure.

Superb

The property was very clean and great value for money! The location was great being down the road from the beach and only a short walk to the main shops in Bondi! It was great that were we able to leave our luggage at the property before our check in time too! The host was also a reliable replier always getting back to any questions we may have had!

The only thing to be improved on would be to add heating! The place got really cold and my friends and I didn’t feel comfortable trying to plug in the gas heater ourselves.

Live like a Bondi local!

The apartment is in a fantastic location close to all of Bondi's attractions and the bus into Sydney 's Circular Quay. It's spacious and light filled, and the beds were very comfortable! The little balcony is prefect for morning coffee!

Unfortunately we only had 3 nights here, would have loved more!
