Glenspean Lodge is run by a delightful couple, Ian and Suzanne. Both are extremely attentive to the guests' wishes and very welcoming.
Generous and scrumptious dinner and breakfast were served in the restaurant from which the view over the mountains is stunning.
The public areas and the bedroom, although spotlessly clean, could be updated and refashioned to reflect the times we live in.

Ian, thank you for a great visit. Food was excellent. Bar, excellent. Basically, it’s excellent.
Wi-Fi could be better.

Lovely location just off main road, but no traffic noise, birds and red squirrels on feeders in the gardens.
Comfortable bed with lovely crisp bedlinen, and option to just use a sheet without the duvet was handy, as it was hot - for Scotland.
Very good breakfast, help yourself buffet with juices, selection of fruits, cereals, yogurt, breads, pastries, and good range of cooked food, from full breakfast to lighter options, all presented beautifully.
Problem with internet - we couldn’t get any connection during our stay.

Beautiful location, being able to sit outside on the swing seat listening to the birds, looking at the mountains and drinking a cold glass of wine after busy work period was bliss. Seeing some red squirrels! Lots of thought to guest stay made by owners, loved the boardgames area in the lounge and games room. Lovely food both in the evening and breakfast. Lovely decorated room.
Nothing, I'd rebook to stay here and maybe explore the area as we were just on a one night stop off of a longer journey.

the hospitality ,especially from the sir at diner and breakfast ( was that Ian, the owner?); the service was perfect; great food also; the breakfast room is marvelous with the view on Ben Nevis (in the mist 😩)

Everything was great except for my meal which was very disappointing, but they gave me credit for it so good on them for doing that - would thoroughly recommend the place. Ian and Suzanne were great Hosts

Hotel facilities beautiful. Great breakfast. Room beautifully decorated and very clean but very, very small. Staff were terrific
Hosts mentioned that we were in the smallest room in the hotel, which impacted on my rating of the room, Wi-fi very poor

It was a beautiful location, with well kept gardens and spotlessly clean residence. The rooms were very warm, comfortable and tastefully finished with quality fittings and furnishings. Breakfasts were of a high standard ,and we were very well attended to. The bar area had a good choice of drinks and food, and a very good, reasonably priced menu. We enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend it to all. Thanks Suzanne and Ian 👍

There is an electric car charger but the owner switched it off every time despite telling us we can charge. We booked this Hotel solely because we wanted to charge our car overnight but every morning the charger was switched off.
We got the sense that there’s no staff the owner does everything and therefore the service is poor. We didn’t get breakfast second day they allocate breakfast times and if you are late by a minute he tells you the chef has left , surprisingly at 9 am how is that possible. He offered to dry our wet clothes after the Ben Nevis walk and he just put them on floor and we got them still soaking the following day we felt he just didn’t want us to take them upstairs to the rooms.
Hot breakfast is just brought in a plate without asking for preferences or choices.

The location was good for us getting off the train at Roybridge.
As a couple we got a small room whereas our friend who was on his own got a bigger room.

We arrived here as part of a motorcycle tour. The parking is stoney however the owner saw us arrive and guided us to a concrete area just off the main parking which was excellent for the motorbikes. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Bedroom was a good enough size for what we needed. The bed was comfortable and even though it had a solid end, it was raised up so didn't affect the ability for my 6'4" husband to stretch out. Bathroom had a bath with an shower over. There was plenty of hot water and it was clean. We had an enjoyable meal in the bar - food and staff were great. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice including superfood smoothies and good coffee. My smoked salmon was great and the whole group enjoyed what they had. A beautiful setting outside Roybridge surrounded by trees.
A minor issue was maybe just lack of hanging space - even if there had been hooks on the back of the doors, it would have helped. When we arrived in the bedroom there was an artificial smell which I found to be a plug in air freshener. It was fine when I turned it off.

Lovely property with great rooms although ours was a bit dark as we were tucked away under some trees looking onto a driveway. Good breakfast, very clean.
Sewage smell outside, was put in a room underneath trees looking onto a driveway when our friends had a great view. Shame as I'm doing the review.

We really enjoyed ourselves very much with beautiful surroundings, excellent food, professional staff, and
just that feeling of being looked after in every detail, a truly enjoyable memorable experience.
Ian & Suzanne's establishment is really something else, in that there obviously has been a lot of thought put into so many things, so as to make it such a special, quality, place to stay, with the high standards you have
set, and implemented.
Looking forward to our next stay very much and seeing you both again very soon.
The only inconvenience was, due to waiting on a new knee replacement, the two flight of stairs was just a bit awkward and slow.
